It was just adequate. The food was fine, but nothing special. The biggest problem was that they took a 7:30 dinner reservation and then told us at 7:55 the kitchen was closing! So what we had hoped would be a leisurely meal felt rushed. Really disappointing
Food good as always and service good as always
This was our first experience st Scossa, a birthday dinner for my wife. Despite it being post-Labor Day and a Sunday night, the restaurant was quite busy, a good sign that food and service are good here (...or that not much else is open!), and we were not disappointed. The antipasto and main corses were excellent, and our server was very friendly, informative, and helpful. We ate inside and noise levels were a bit high for my liking, but I wear hearing aids, which tend to pick up lots of ambient noise. For normal people it should be fine. We will definitely be back.
We have gone to Scossa’s many times. We believe that it is the best restaurant on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and one of the best in Maryland. It is highly consistent with outstanding food and wine and excellent service. It has been a while since we have been to Scossa’s and it was like coming home.
Very nice restaurant with good food and service
Service was fair. We were charged $18.50 for a child’s penne pasta and butter. My cavatelli was $17.50. When I complained I was comped $3.50. $15.00 for a kids penne pasta with butter!? I mentioned in our reservation it was my husbands birthday-not one acknowledgement. Food tasted good, but I was disappointed.
If you want good food, I mean great food, a cocktail made to order, The very best service and a five-star experience then this is the restaurant for you.
Menu shows little creativity.
I eat here regularly and I have never had a bad meal. Their risotto is especially wonderful -- and they will put anything into it you want. Give it a try!!
Service was pleasant, more than efficient. Food was hot, obviously served immediately after preparation, and of high quality. It wasn't crowded, so noiuse level was fine. Recommend highly.
My wife and I were visiting in Easton and had dinner there. Sat at the Bar first Great Bartender Buck. Our waiter as well as all the staff allowed my wife and I to really dine and enjoy each course of our meal Our waiter Rich was awesome the food was awesome and we would tell anyone visiting Easton Md to eat there. The owner Talley was fantastic the place is clean friendly comfortable and has great food. Jack Mc G.
We really enjoyed happy hour at the bar and then dinner in the dining room. The Caesar salad with anchovies and the Shrimp Risotto were excellent, as usual. This is our favorite restaurant in Easton, MD.
We always make a reservation.
We were seated immediately. Our server was attentive and helpful, and the food was delicious! Everybody was friendly. We were able to sit back, enjoy our meal without feeling rushed to leave.
The most Authentic Italian food this side of the Atlantic. Even my Nonna would be happy!
Excellent wine list and menu selections. Service was top notch. Our server named Cody knew the menu very well and was very helpful in getting us an excellent selection of dishes we shared.
The most consistent good food and good service in town!
Scossa is definitely one of the best Italian restaurant in the town of Easton. It has a very classy feel as you enter and just keeps getting better as you are seated. I had the Veal Loin Scaloppine with Porcini Mushrooms that had a light flavor and was very tender. My wife ordered an off-menu Chicken Piccata (which they gladly accommodated). The special Pasta which multiple people in our party had was the Lobster & Shrimp Ravioli…. which was light and adequately stuff with that filling. To me, the one thing that always designates a fine restaurant with an experience chef is that each plate was not over sauced or too salty with excessive cream or butter that can just overwhelm the meal. Deserts were the usual Italian dolci and were excellent as well. All of the dishes were presented well and the service was really outstanding.
Service and food was wonderful and we loved the town of Eastern
Scocca is always great
45th Anniversary. Superb menu and drink and wine list. Server was very knowledgeable and made excellent dinner suggestions. We particularly liked the scallops and mushroom appetizer. The calves liver entree was excellent as was the soft shell crab. The restaurant is upscale advising proper dress but not enforcing. Tables nicely set with tablecloths. Overall a very nice dining experience. Perhaps best of Easton!
Great food, impeccable service and a definite regular spot!!
Best restaurant, best food, best staff
There was a large table with children next to us which was distracting! Usually it is a great place to visit and have conversations.
Excellent , no issues
always on their game and always a wonderful dining experience
Really great as always
Always consistent and yummy
A quaint, impeccably run establishment. A classic spaghetti and meatballs made me a devout customer. Thank you.
“Brian” is an amazing server
and birthday celebration
The meal was excellent. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We arrived about 10 minutes before our reservation and we were still seated right away.
Excellent food, very relaxed dining. Never feel rushed. The risotto is delicious, requested something not on the menu and it was no problem.
We arrived a little early for our anniversary dinner but were seated promptly. The service was very good except that no one introduced themselves (Waiter, bus boy, bartender). No manager stopped by our table to check on dinner or service. Just the same, the service was very good. Dinner was great, I had the Scallops appetizer. Entrees were the steak (Melt in your mouth) and pork scallopini. The restaurant was out of veal but the pork was a great substitution. For our anniversary, the waiter comped our dessert. Because my wife wanted the veal, we are coming back. Since they didn't introduce themselves, shout out to the waiter (young guy with a beard) and the bussers (Young woman with long red hair and the young guy with the rolled up sleeves). Real nice place. Reminded my wife of an upscale restaurant in Center City Philadelphia.
Excellent food, wonderful service, and pleasant ambiance.
Long wait between salad and risotto entree and waiter avoided us for 10 minutes while we waited to order another glass of wine and get candle relit.
He walked by 3-4 times and ignored us after being very good to start. I flagged him down and he seemed very defensive about 20 minutes and said risotto takes long time. We just wanted to know if an issue as others getting served and if we could order a wine.
Seemed to us he didn’t want to be a waiter.
Anyway the place is very nice, food excellent.
No mention of our special occasion after checking “anniversary “ box when I made reservation
The ambience was good. The waiter was not engaging in anyway. The Caesar salad and spinach salad were good. The ravioli works OK. The Veal Milanese Was not good. It had no sauce and was dry and I don’t know why it was served with a salad of arugula topped with grated Parmesan I would not go back. Expected much better for the price.
every appetizer and entre was perfect cody and his coworkers provided superb service we are all food snobs and found the hour drive worth every minute cant wait to return
It was our repeat visit and we liked it as much as the first time. Perhaps we missed the lunch crowd (we came after 1 pm), or perhaps it was a quiet afternoon on a Memorial Day weekend on Sunday because the restaurant was surprisingly empty. We chose the same table as previously and we had a good luck of having the same as before, excellent waiter. The food was served promptly and the "cream" of pureed asparagus (and broccollini?) was excellent. So was my wife's entree of pan seared scallops and rice pilaf. My rockfish filet was very good, just a bit too dry at the thinner end. Both were served with an excellent, light, lemon caper sauce. The espresso to end the meal was just perfect. We highly recomend this restaurant (and this comes from a couple that generally avoids Italian restaurants!).
Love stopping at Scossa on the way home from the beach. The service is the best and the bolognese is worth the detour!
Great food and a nice place. Would have given it five stars but the waiter from the start made us all feel very rushed so was not a relaxed dinner.
Never disappointed. Always wonderful food, service, and ambiance.
