Anniversary dinner. We were looking for a local chophouse that rivals Capital Grill. We found it! Filets we’re cooked perfectly. Drinks were good. Megan’s service was beyond excellent! We have our go to steak house.

My chicken was raw inside. They replaced my meal with something else, but by then we were ready to leave. It was a date - and we didn’t eat together. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Food is generally good there but when your bill is almost $200 and your meal could have made you very sick… seems like they could have adjusted the bill. Manager never came to speak to us. Lunch is better. Not doing dinner again.

Excellent food! Excellent service! We had brunch for our 27 year Anniversary. We were seated in a cute room along with another couple who was also celebrating their anniversary (separate table). Each table had a card wishing us a Happy Anniversary with our last name. The mimosas were great.

Ambiance and food were great. Our waiter was great. Problem we waited 30minutes to get a drink from the bar! The manger was the only one that could mix drinks. Our table mates got their wine and beer in a few minutes. Our cocktails 30 minutes later.

Have one complaint, happen to eat at their restaurant in Williamsburg on Saturday. I ordered the same dessert on Sunday and was disappointing. The cheese cake was about half the size and far fewer bananas. It was exactly the same price at both restaurants, exactly the same dessert menus.

Very nice place. Positives - atmosphere, seafood bisque is excellent, quiche was good, vegetables good, meatloaf excellent, crème brûlée excellent Negatives - fries undercooked, mashed potatoes cold, chocolate punctuation was overcooked and it took 50 minutes to come out after the waiter said it would take 10-15 minutes, crab cake bland.

The quality of the food has gone down. I feel Schlesinger’s once dominated the dining scene in this area but now it seems its focus is on too many food options. The quality is suffering because of this.

This is our 3rd time visiting on our Anniversary. But 7 visits in all. It was one of the most memorable meals we’ve had in a while. The $$$$ reflect the Quality of food served to you. Leia was an excellent server. The manager has never failed at checking on us , our meal, and thanking us for spending our special day with them! Very upscale place and very nice. The service was outstanding. Great place for a special occasion. They had meals that were in a normal price range of 20-30 a meal up to very expensive steak and seafood. The bread and crispy chips was served with a sweetened butter and was very good. The crispy chip was something different. The French onion soup was OMG good. The broth was amazing and some of the “croutons”, or bread chunks were actually crunchy. The cheese was gooey. Overall. Amazing. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The brussel sprout with onions and bacon were also very flavorful and a great mos of textures. We spent approximately $200 for two people with tip so if that is too steep then you can save this for a special occasion or order less pricey dishes. Highly recommend trying this place at least once.

Shelby our waitress was Fantastic. So helpful so attentive so kind. Very friendly and knowledgeable about all the items on the menu. We will ask for her the next time we are there. We came from Williamsburg to celebrate my friends birthday. Schlesingers is soooo much better than Opus 9 here in Williamsburg. We will be visiting much more often because we like it so much better than Opus
