we had to wait a long time for our waitress. however i got managers attention and she took our order but our waitress never showed up until we got the attention of another waiter. they did give us a small discount for the wait and waitress was very nice once she decided to service us. the biggest issue was there were at least 4 or 5 tables seated after us that received their drinks and food before us. so, during that wait, our drinks were not even refilled, not counting that we waited about ten minutes before our first drinks were even ordered. we were there around 1640. our reservation was 1645. we were seated immediately but then ignored. as i stated though, it worked out in the end and luckily we came early so it didn’t interfere with movie.
Great experience. More so on the cheaper side than I expected which is great. Food was great server was friendly. Dinner for 2 for less than 30 bucks
Was disappointed the menu said we got a side then when my husband ordered off that menu was told no. He asked waitress to get manager and manager never came. Also on Open Table we indicated it was our anniversary and not one mention was made of that.
The scene has a great selection for the whole family. Sushi, Burgers and Pizza is what our family gets every time. Really love the place.
The drinks were weak unlike in the past. We had to go retrieve our waiter to get service. Not a good experience.
Our server was great.
Best thing about the place is its convenience when going to see a movie
The food was delicious. The ONLY issue I had was that the booth I sat in needed a to upholstered. It was comfortable but the chipped & peeling leather was distasteful.
We love Scene Lounge! They always go above and beyond to make sure the experience is great!
Waitress wasn't very good. She was nice but just kept forgetting everything. Food was great especially the cheese cake.
Good food and a fun atmosphere to catch up with friends during a business trip.
When first opened, this was definitely a hot spot. The furnishings are worn; the service wasn't spot on or timely and the whole experience was disjointed. My husband received his sushi sampler a good 15 minutes before I received my appetizer and small bite. We tried valiantly to get our server's attention; or any server's attention to bring soy sauce (gasp - why with sushi?). We were able to catch server and request soy sauce when my food came out; so that's 15 minutes with no attention. We booked for convenience before our movie but they truly need to step up the professionalism. We listened to our waiter repeat his life tale to the couple next to us AFTER we'd asked for the ticket so we could get to our movie. Sigh.
We were seated promptly upon arrival, as we had made a reservation earlier that day. We ordered the edamame happy hour appetizer and the Ocean Seven Sushi as a main dish, both of which were good. While the food was good overall, but it is essentially the same menu as it has been for the last 5 years. Therefore, I strongly recommend that the menu be revamped as it is tired and worn out! The service was just average. Our server caught the fact that the kitchen did not put the eel sauce to the side as she delivered it to our table and immediately returned it to correct the order. The real problem is the fact that all the tables and booth seats need to be completely refurbished or replaced. The material on the majority, if not all of the booth seating is cracked/peeling, and will leave residue on whatever you are wearing. The owner/management have certainly NOT invested in maintaining the establishment properly!
Food and service were very good as usual. I did notice the vinyl seat cushions in the booths were significantly deteriorated which detracted from the ambiance.
We haven't been to Scene in a while bc the service had not been what it used to be since Cinemark took over the Monaco. But we were pleasantly surprised this visit. Our waiter was awesome (wish I could remember his name!). He was very attentive. Food was delicious. Hubby said it is the best burger in town. Glad to have a great experience.
We went on Mother's Day because most of the other restaurants were booked solid. It was fine for our 2 year grandson. The food was ok but the service was really attentive and friendly. Her service overcame any negatives we might have had. Overall, a fair experience.
Food was yummy. Menu is just right. So may times, a restaurant tries to have too much. Scene is diverse without having EVERYTHING.
It was horrible. We will not be back. The food was not worth the cost, and they weren't that just, which is fine but half the wait staff and some chefs decided to hang out close to our table being loud and obnoxious.
Great customer service. Music could be a little more up to date on a Friday night.
We arrived early and they found a table for us anyway. Great service. Great food. Great recommendations from the waiter!
Almost everything was great for my dinner out with a good friend. However, the seating wasn't ideal. We enjoyed dining upstairs, but the seats themselves were terribly uncomfortable. They were very low to the floor. I'm only 5'4" and I had to cross my feet almost Indian style under the table in order to be in a more comfortable position and not have so much pressure on my knees. I can't imagine how anyone tall would be comfortable in these seats. They need to be replaced.
We went to have dinner prior to a movie and had fries as an appetizer and sushi as our main course. The fries were the best part of our meal. The sushi was beyond sub-par and not worth the $10-15 cost per roll. I recommend for drinks and appetizers, but skip the sushi.
Great food and service from our waiter Adam
The food was good. The upholstery on the booth benches and backs was in terrible shape. It really needs to be replaced. It was ripped in some areas.
Everything was excellent except our server. She was very nice and had great recommendations but we hardly saw her. She took forever to get our drinks out (alcohol) and never even asked if we needed a refill on our water. She was incredibly nice and seemed professional but very unconcerned with waiting on us. She disappeared to the back for the most part. I could understand if she was waiting on other people but she just wasn't around period. Beyond that this place is excellent.
I wanted to just spend some time with and by myself for the holidays. I was at peace eating and being at the Scene. I enjoyed my meal there as well.
Food, drinks, service--all good. Material covering all the booth seats is completely worn out and MUST be replaced. Awful looking--and I'm not picky. I normally ignore things like that.
Always a good place for happy hour with the girls.
Impromptu dinner date. Loved the happy hour specials. But our favorite is the Good Ole Boy sushi. Great flavor!
Our server was exceptional. Truly enjoyed our dinner.
It was very good, we were there on a Friday night so it was very busy which is fine but it seemed the restaurant was a bit understaffed with their servers, I noticed all of them running their butts off. Our service was good, but I think our server would have been more attentive if she wasn't so over sat. The food was great and we left her a 20% plus tip because she was killing it for all the tables she had.
The Scene is one of our favorite spots for sushi and drinks. Great atmosphere and good food!
We were there celebrating my wife's bday. We have been to The Scene many times and have always enjoyed it. This visit was the first time that we had an issue with the service. Our waiter seemed to be a bit "absent minded" - failing to remember several requests (the first for silverware). The atmosphere, food and drinks were great, as always. Based on past experience, I believe that the service issue was a fluke and I'm sure has already been addressed. We will definitely be back soon.
Too much of a bar. Food was only so-so.
Good place to eat before going to a movie
We were not happy with the location of our reservation. The food was delicious but the table was small in size and height.
Both Appetizer and Dinner was okay; although the initial service was prompt, the follow-on food delivery was a bit slow, and the food itself was cold when received.
Great food good staff very fun place to eat a snack or have a great dinner before a movie
This was our third visit to the Scene and our first one made with reservations. Every experience has this fare been very enjoyable and convienient with our movie times. The food and atmosphere is great. Highly recommend!
The food was excellent, but the service is always slow, and they never brought silver ware even after being ask. That's actually happened before to us there. Also no napkins, but the food was worth messy hands
I have been here before so this visit was a let down. I made a reservation for three but when we got there, we were seated upstairs, in the lobby. Not really very special or what I wanted but it was all they had so not sure why reservation was needed. There was just one server for the entire upstairs, and there was a large party (10) he was responsible for. We ordered drinks and food but the drinks tasted funny, sour or bitter. My food was ok in taste but not exactly as stated on the menu but edible. Overall, I would not bother going back.
