we had to wait a long time for our waitress. however i got managers attention and she took our order but our waitress never showed up until we got the attention of another waiter. they did give us a small discount for the wait and waitress was very nice once she decided to service us. the biggest issue was there were at least 4 or 5 tables seated after us that received their drinks and food before us. so, during that wait, our drinks were not even refilled, not counting that we waited about ten minutes before our first drinks were even ordered. we were there around 1640. our reservation was 1645. we were seated immediately but then ignored. as i stated though, it worked out in the end and luckily we came early so it didn’t interfere with movie.
Great experience. More so on the cheaper side than I expected which is great. Food was great server was friendly. Dinner for 2 for less than 30 bucks
Was disappointed the menu said we got a side then when my husband ordered off that menu was told no. He asked waitress to get manager and manager never came. Also on Open Table we indicated it was our anniversary and not one mention was made of that.
The scene has a great selection for the whole family. Sushi, Burgers and Pizza is what our family gets every time. Really love the place.
The drinks were weak unlike in the past. We had to go retrieve our waiter to get service. Not a good experience.
Our server was great.
Best thing about the place is its convenience when going to see a movie
The food was delicious. The ONLY issue I had was that the booth I sat in needed a to upholstered. It was comfortable but the chipped & peeling leather was distasteful.
We love Scene Lounge! They always go above and beyond to make sure the experience is great!
Waitress wasn't very good. She was nice but just kept forgetting everything. Food was great especially the cheese cake.
Good food and a fun atmosphere to catch up with friends during a business trip.
When first opened, this was definitely a hot spot. The furnishings are worn; the service wasn't spot on or timely and the whole experience was disjointed. My husband received his sushi sampler a good 15 minutes before I received my appetizer and small bite. We tried valiantly to get our server's attention; or any server's attention to bring soy sauce (gasp - why with sushi?). We were able to catch server and request soy sauce when my food came out; so that's 15 minutes with no attention. We booked for convenience before our movie but they truly need to step up the professionalism. We listened to our waiter repeat his life tale to the couple next to us AFTER we'd asked for the ticket so we could get to our movie. Sigh.
We were seated promptly upon arrival, as we had made a reservation earlier that day. We ordered the edamame happy hour appetizer and the Ocean Seven Sushi as a main dish, both of which were good. While the food was good overall, but it is essentially the same menu as it has been for the last 5 years. Therefore, I strongly recommend that the menu be revamped as it is tired and worn out! The service was just average. Our server caught the fact that the kitchen did not put the eel sauce to the side as she delivered it to our table and immediately returned it to correct the order. The real problem is the fact that all the tables and booth seats need to be completely refurbished or replaced. The material on the majority, if not all of the booth seating is cracked/peeling, and will leave residue on whatever you are wearing. The owner/management have certainly NOT invested in maintaining the establishment properly!
Food and service were very good as usual. I did notice the vinyl seat cushions in the booths were significantly deteriorated which detracted from the ambiance.
We haven't been to Scene in a while bc the service had not been what it used to be since Cinemark took over the Monaco. But we were pleasantly surprised this visit. Our waiter was awesome (wish I could remember his name!). He was very attentive. Food was delicious. Hubby said it is the best burger in town. Glad to have a great experience.
