We went to the restaurant for my birthday and noted it in our reservation. The service definitely needs improvement considering the average price of menu items and compared to other comparable restaurants we have dined at. We had to ask for the bread three different times and one of the servers seemed annoyed when we followed up with our request. Working in the hospitality industry, I understand that different restaurants have different ways of handling diner's requests but not once was the occasion ever acknowledged by our server or anybody in the restaurant . Although the person at the host stand did mention that we were going to be seated at a table with a view of the Bellagio fountains as we were being walked into the dining room. The food was good but nothing spectacular and unfortunately, the other factors dampened our dining experience for the evening.
The food & staff were wonderful. First time in Vegas. Loved it.
Perfect explosion of flavors with the Bellagio fountains as a view.
Nothing special. Disappointing considering the amount of money we spent. Our main waiter was not friendly or helpful, wished the guy who brought our bread or the woman who filled our waters had been our waiter/waitress as they were friendly and accommodating. Did have a nice view of the Bellagio Fountains.
Thanks to GM Mark we had the Chef’s Table with an amazing view of the kitchen & Vegas Strip. Definitely a REPEAT for us.
Food was excellent and the service was too! I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a great meal. Our table had a view of the Bellagio water show which seemed like the cherry on top.
Amazing food and exceptional service. My girlfriend was wearing a black dress, so our server gave her a special black napkin (instead of the normal white ones) so that she wouldn’t get lint over her dress. That obviously has nothing to do with the food, but that gives you an idea of the attention to detail here. Food was very good, came out very quickly too. The server knew exactly what wine I wanted from my vague description, which I appreciated a lot. Atmosphere is very upscale and fancy, don’t wear a t-shirt here.
We have had better meals at Scarpetta. Our biggest issue was pacing food. We were served our main course before even tasting our choice of wine. The glasses of wine were poured and here came the same food of a few minutes ago. It was still warm, it was delicious, but it seemed like we were being rushed. Too bad, Scott!
Food was really outstanding. Service was attentive. Noise level was quiet for a Las Vegas restaurant.
