Scarpetta - The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Great atmosphere and you can get a great view of the Bellagio water show with the right seat.

An elegant evening begins with a delicious assorted bread basket. Beautifully prepared salads and starters and a pleasant full bodied Italian red wine. The pasta was al dente and fresh, though could have used a little more sauce. Where I was disappointed was the fish. It was so flavorful and filled with capers and tomatoes, but was not hot when it came out and the skin was far from crispy. (A “Choppable” offense). Lastly the flan was delicious but the Nutella puffs are served on a bed of plain chocolate sauce, so the hazelnut effect is lost. Overall it’s an experience to savor, but slightly disappointing.

Perfect duck foie gras ravioli and paired very well with recommended wine. Impressed with their 5 different kinds of bread!

The service was pretty bad. The waiter was extremely casual and barely dropped at our table. We had to keep calling them and requesting for service - even for a simple thing like water.

I would give Scarpetta a 6 out 5 if I could

Food is always excellent - tasty and appealing to the eyes, a combination of art and science and expertise
I look forward to returning but would like to see more vegan options

Nice, quiet place with exceptional food and great service. Pasta dishes are top-notch, with good quality ingredients and nice presentation. It was nice to see most of the customers here actually dressed accordingly for a fine dining restaurant, as opposed to a couple of other ones we had dined at earlier in the week. Would definitely return!

I highly recommend Scarpetta. We've eaten here before and always look forward to coming back when we are in Las Vegas. The service was outstanding! One of the best meals we've had in a very long time!

Superb , elegant one of the best Italian restaurants anywhere

We eloped in Vegas 9 years ago and come back every year for our anniversary. We stay at a different hotel on the strip every year, and this year we stayed at the Cosmopolitan. We arrived on the day of our anniversary, so we made a reservation at a restaurant in the hotel - Scarpetta. The ambiance and service was definitely of fine dining quality and hospitality. The hostess and managers were welcoming on our way in and gracious on our way out. The waiters were professional and very attentive. The food was excellent! The web site described the restaurant "overlooking the famed fountains" - my husband had a view but I did not. But it was a lovely evening for our anniversary celebration!

Outstanding food and service with an amazing view. Bar staff are exceptional, especially Nicole. I liked this restaurant so much I visited 2 nights in a row on my last Vegas trip. Bravo. 5 stars.

The food was good but not excellent. We felt rushed the entire time. The lighting was terrible. I did enjoy the bread they brought to our table.

Amazing food and service with views overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Everything was top notch with speedy friendly service.... great knowledge of the menu.... amazingly delicious food....

Had reservations for 8pm. Didn’t get seated til 8:50. Other than that the experience was enjoyable.

Our 8pm reservation was only a suggestion. We arrived 10 minutes early and were told to sit in the bar which we did. After ordering cocktails and at 8;30 we checked on our reservation to be told they were trying to clear a table. At 8:45 still no luck. So we ate at the bar. Service was perfect...food was very good and bartender comped our wine because of the inefficiency and attitude of the hostess and restaurant in general. We noticed several couples seated immediately after we gave up on a table. There were also alcoves in the bar for 2or 3 that were available and not offered. Overall lousy attitude.

Absolutely outstanding food, wine selection and ambiance. Service was great with an excellent understanding of the menu and specials. Great Italian pasta and fish/scallops/large shrimp - main event. Special dessert for anniversary. And a great view of the Bellagio hotel with the water spectacular. Highly recommended. Incredible!

Best Raviolo I’ve ever had.

Food was great and we liked almost everything we had. One appetizer was not my favorite but nothing was wrong with it just not my taste. Service was amazing- our server (can’t remember her name) was fun, personable, and on point but not overly hovering. Requested a specific area for seating and was accommodated so that was really nice. A very nice vacation dinner.

My friends went to Vegas to celebrated our 40th birthdays. We had 11 in our group. They sat us at a private table in what appeared to be their wine cellar with a great view of the Bellagio fountains. The service and food were excellent. Would definitely consider going back especially with a large group.

Food was exceptional. Ambiance on the romantic side. Service was excellent. Don’t fill yourself up with the bread basket as it is easy to do so!

The service and food were outstanding.

Every year for our anniversary my husband and I plan a trip to Las Vegas and ALWAYS make a reservation for Scarpetta. It is consistently wonderful every time. They always have an attention for detail that makes the experience from the food to the cocktails to the ambiance and service the best! You can find lots of great restaurants in Vegas but Scarpetta is exceptional and consistent. We never miss it when in town.

Scarpetta was, as always, a wonderful experience. We brought two new friends with us on this visit and think they'll be back too!

Delicious squash blossoms to start. Veal chop and chicken Marsala were wonderful and had some innovative touches. Food came from kitchen steaming hot. Perfectly timed service throughout the evening. Luxurious feel in the decor. Don’t think you can miss with anything on the menu!

We’ve been to Scarpetta before - both in Miami and in Las Vegas. Every time the food and service was excellent.
However this last experience in Las Vegas disappointed us to the point that we’re considering not coming back. I don’t know if was an off night but the following are our complaints:
1) service was so fast (we took the tasting menu with wine pairing), that we had to ask them to slow down- It seemed like they were just trying to turn tables as quickly as possible.
2) so many errors from the wait staff. They even brought desert before two courses that we hadn’t yet had! Biggest error was that not only did we mention my wife’s allergies to both fish and seafood on open table, we reiterated this to our waiter who said they would switch out fish or seafood for my wife. Guess what - the first course they brought to my wife was fish! They obviously took it back and apologized, but this shouldn’t have happened.
3) Food wise, we found it not to be as tasty as previous times.
As mentioned, it may have been an off night, but we felt rushed, unattended to, and food so-so.
