Exceptional! SF was always a fantastic romantic and wonderful place, but WOW...they stepped it up quite a few notches....Interior was remodeled, menu was upgraded, food was superb and service was outstanding.

Absolutely wonderful experience!!!! Make the trip!!!

First time here and I have to say, it was pretty fantastic... Staff, food and ambiance were really nice for date night... I had the mushroom ravioli and my date had the scallops. Both were really excellent... Highly recommend this place!!

Restaurant did not observe maximum capacity restrictions. Every table was in use.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and everything was superb. The owner even personally acknowledged the special occasion. Love this place and highly recommend. Favorite restaurant in Nj!!

Such a great spot for a date night! The place is extrem cozy and always decorated so nicely. Service was great both times we went cery attentive! Maria our server was a sweetheart. Love this place and highly recommend

This was my third time eating here. My first 2 times were great--the food, seating, etc. This time, I asked for alcove seating and was seated at a small table that was barely separated from the next small table by a wooden wall. There were 2 open alcoves and they were still empty when I left a few hours later. The justification that there were open for social distancing can't be used since my table was so close to the next that I could have easily reached out and touched the next table. Our server forgot our drinks, yet served drinks to a large party who arrived about 20 minutes after us. My burrata salad was okay. The mushroom risotto was cold and had too many mushrooms in it. The mushrooms tasted like dried mushrooms that had been rehydrated and the texture was overly chewy. It was a disappointment and after this time, I'm not sure it's worth the trip to this place. Someone (looked like grandparents) had a screaming kid in a high chair. This isn't a restaurant for kids. There's not much on the menu for kids and I'm sure they'd quickly become bored like this kid (and I have 2 kids).

The food is always amazing and the new bar is beautiful. Don’t miss the soup - sounds like a small thing, but the chef’s soups are truly terrific.

Valentine’s Day

Great experience, beautifully decorated for Valentines. The staff was superb.

Valentines Dinner- the place was BEAUTIFULLY decorated! We loved the special price fixe menu choices and appreciated that there were so many gluten free options as well. Our waitress, Cara, was attentive and kind too. Loved the soup and my filet. Will definitely come back- especially given the “private” dining booths which made us feel safe during these times.

The place is always so beautifully decorated for Valentines Day. Top that with great food, good service it makes for a perfect evening.

Food and service were very good. We had a great time. For those that are sticklers about masks, the bartender was not wearing his covering the mouth or nose. It was under his chin.

What a pleasure the entire evening was from the atmosphere to the wait staff to the incredible food. We will go back!

We went in February which lends itself to a unique Valentines experience. The place is decked out with hearts and lights everywhere! We were fortunate to get a table on the stairs which made it feel like we were the only ones there. The food wish delish, the atmosphere was delightful and we look forward to dining there again!

Love the building itself. It is very unique and was decorated for Valentines Day. Was disappointed that we were not able to be sat at a table in the stairwell as requested when we made the reservation. The food was good with the exception of a creme brule which had a strange texture. The service was poor as we never received one of the appetizers, we had to ask for steak knives, and our wine was not refilled. I suspect our server was busy running around to tables located in other parts of the restaurant. We were celebrating a birthday and while the host decorated the table and said Happy Birthday, the server did not put a candle in the birthday dessert or acknowledge it in any way. Additionally, the bartender had his mask off the entire time we were there and tables were not spread out for social distancing. Overall, a disappointing night and birthday celebration.

First time dining at this restaurant. Reserved a high top table in the bar area, and unfortunately, was seated at a regular table in a separate room. Food and service were average.

Although the food and service were good they did not do a great job with social distancing. We sat a high top in the bar area and there was a table next to us with a party of 10. I thought with covid tables can’t have more than 6. And patrons walking around with no mask!!!!!

It was our first time there and we loved it! My mom’s fillet was a bit tough but I thought everything was great! I loved the menu and even managed to find something to eat on whole30! They were very accommodating to my dietary restrictions and the scallops were perfect! The flourless chocolate cake that my mom had was outstanding (so she said)! The decorations were super festive for Valentine’s Day. I’ll definitely be back! Thanks for a great meal!

I used to live nearby Scarborough Fair and always wanted to go, but never had the chance. So happy I finally did. Loved the ambiance, the food and cocktails, and the service. The short ribs were among the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back again!
