Scaramouche has long been celebrated by customers and critics for its unwavering commitment to making each dining experience a memorable one. Chef/owner Keith Froggett's sophisticated cuisine is presented simply with care and attention to detail. The service underscores that philosophy: unobtrusive and respectful. The restaurant affords a stunning nighttime vista of the downtown Toronto skyline. These components and more make Scaramouche the singular destination it is. And the reason that the restaurant is consistently ranked as one of the city's best for more than three decades.

Food is perfect but the service is so-so. The waitress is no smile and we don’t feel get a good service.

Great food and great service, I loved my foie gras and venison and my girlfriend who is vegetarian found several dishes to choose from that she would enjoy. Our waiter was excellent very lively, attentive and funny. We had a great view of the toronto skyline from our table. And at the end of the meal when we had issues with my debit cards chip our waiter was very patient as we looked for a solution and he was very understanding of our predicament. We loved our experience at Scaramouche and would definitely recommend it.

The main drawback in the restaurant was the air conditioning. It was freezing with direct cold air in the whole window seat section.

Once you get over arriving at the entry of a condo complex venue, you descend into a plush restaurant with grey velvet banquettes and a gorgeous view of Toronto from a hilltop. We were the first arrivals for the dinner seating and were offered several tables without a view bcz the rest were “spoken for”. After they relented and gave our party of four a table with a partial view, we enjoyed a superb meal. From the watermelon feta amuse bouche, to the excellent oysters from Ireland, to our main courses of halibut, lamb, St. Canut pork, and Georgian Bay whitefish. Oh, and all our unique cocktails were divine. The desserts knocked it out of the park; we had the Valrohna cherry chocolate mouse cake and coconut creme pie. Can’t wait to go back!

The food is very good and the service was wonderful. Unfortunately, the restaurant needs a facelift. The decor and feel is very dated. My guess is that the ownership has not touched the decor in 20 years. Other than that the food was great. And we were impressed with our server, Michael. Also I had on a blazer and tie; however, there were guests there with shorts and flip flops. The Coconut Cream Pie is spectacular. The ownership had better focus on how much competition there is in Toronto. The concierge at the Ritz Carlton Hotel told us that the restaurant was dated and she suggested a different restaurant.

Surprising. Not the ambience you would expect from the 'basement of a condo building'. But quietly and classically chic once you enter. Would not be the cup of tea for millennials. Excellent service. Could have a more imaginative or creative menu. Valet parking is in a residential space visitor parking so be prepared to add the valet tip to your bill.

Every time we go to Scaramouche, we are pleased with the exceptional service and the excellent food. the coconut cream pie was awesome, and our waiter was the perfect combination of friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help without being too much of anything.

We will be back!

For the money we paid for, the service didn’t match the value and experience. I ordered the seafood dish, came a little cold, not worth $56 price though. My husband ordered half bottle of wine, the waiter often forgot to pull his wine because he put it away in some place to keep it cool. Dined at many nice places, this didn’t even close to meet my expectation, let alone the mediocre food. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Scaramouche is a classic and classical. Impeccable service, food and wine. Tables tend to be far enough apart for quiet conversations. Great views of Toronto too.

Dinner was for my girlfriend’s bday. The food was amazing and the service might have even topped the food. We had a window table so the view with the sunset made the dinner even more special. We both found our server Andrew to be knowledgeable, fun and very attentive without being overbearing. Would gladly go back.

When a restaurant is packed on a Monday night at 8:30 pm you know they are doing something right. Our server took a more than a few minutes to get to our table, but for the rest of the evening he was attentive and helpful. The food was good but not outstanding. I had beef tenderloin,my husband had seafood and my son was most impressed with his venison. My daughter is a vegetarian so the menu offered very few choices for her. She had ravioli as a main but the portion was rather small (granted it's not supposed to be a main course, but she had no other options). Desserts were delicious--and a nice touch was the 'Congratulations ' message written on my son's plate (celebrating university grad). As always , stunning views of the city skyline.

Spectacular! The service is sublime from the greeting at the door through the entire dinner service we were well cared for by professional staff. The food is simply divine. We had the seasonal fennel soup, white asparagus, gnocchi with shredded duck and the venison and everything was perfect. Such a lovely spot and this made our special occasion even more special.

Ambience is classy but not intimidating. Attentive service. Food is great. Presentation of appetizer is exquisite! Due to the lack of parking in the area, the free valet parking is definitely a welcoming treat for the clients.

Lived up to reputation as one of Toronto's top places to eat. Gave impression that they know what they're good at and don't try to over extend. The three of us all thought what we chose to eat and drink (terrific cocktails) was genuinely top-end. Superlative service and helpful advice from the sommelier made for a perfect dinner.
