Scaramouche Pasta Bar
This is one of Toronto’s most iconic restaurants.
I’m not sure there are too many restaurants that have been making amazing meals as long as Scaramouche. Which tells you a lot.
The staff go out of their way to get to know you with a great attitude. Keith Froggett and his team keep the menu fresh while maintaining some classics that never let you down.
It also has one of the best views in the city.
Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy dinner here.
Great Food, Great Service, Great Ambiance. A terrific place to go that you can always count on.
Went to Scaramouche Pasta bar for an anniversary dinner. Service was excellent, our waiter was attentive and very professional. The food was excellent, we had the peppercorn fettucini and the braised beef pappardelle both were delicious. The coconut cream pie was amazing and large enough for two to share. Just a wonderful evening from start to finish. Was hoping for a table with a view but even without that we had a memorable evening.
I would definitely recommend the Pasta Bar but would suggest booking directly with them, not through your portal. When I made my booking (for 2) the only time available earlier than 9:30 p.m. for the day in question was 5:30. When we arrived at that time we were the only 2 in the Pasta Bar for at least 20 minuets and whn we left at 6:50 p.m. there were still unoccupied tables. So why only 5:30 p.m.?
Also, in filling out your reservation application form there was a question asking if this booking was for a "Special Occasion". I duly answered that it was to celebrate my wife's 65th birthday. I don't know wht that question was asked because there was no indication of anything out of the ordinary during our meal.
One of the best views in the city.
Great staff and the food is fabulous, as usual.
This was an annual birthday dinner we’ve been having at Scaramouche for a few years. It never disappoints. Love it there.
Lovely evening. Food and service excellent. Ambiance fantastic.
Great lively table excellent service they even wrote happy retirement
Dinner with a fabulous friend in the Pasta Bar
Brilliant evening, we requested and were given our preferred seat at the window
The food was amazing as always, it had been some time since my last visit, and I was not disappointed
My guest had never been to the restaurant and was so impressed with the food, ambiance and service.
A wonderful experience with no issues at all.!
Thank you Scaramouche for a fantastic evening!
The Pasta bar at Scaramouche never fails to please. Always dependable. Never had a meal there that I have not enjoyed. Highly recommend it.
We had a fantastic dinner— excellent service, wonderful food in an elegant space. Remembered why I love the Pasta Bar so much.
Great food, service and wine
Scaramouche has been one of the best restaurants in Toronto for many years. My son, my wife an I were at the Scaramouche Pasta Bar to celebrate my wife's birthday. As always, excellent food and service -a wonderful way to celebrate. Although pricey, Scaramouche continues to live up to its reputation.
Food, service and ambience were very good as usual. The noise level on this occasion was terrible. I could not hear my husband across the table and I have excellent hearing. This made for an uncomfortable dining experience.
great food, exceptional service, and a fantastic setting.
Great view of the CN Tower as we had a window seat
Too noisy, too crowded, decor was dark & uninviting, service was impersonal-not friendly or welcoming, food took a long time to be served.
All in all-a very poor birthday celebration dinner!
Good atmosphere with a great view of the city. Exceptional service & food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely return next time we visit Toronto.
Excellent food and service. Been going there for almost forty years
Outstanding meal. We shared 6 dishes between two of us. Decadent!! Mushroom soup, calves liver, ravioli, gnocchi etc. The best restaurant in the city for service ambience and food quality. Servers always discreet, knowledgeable and highly professional
Don’t understand all the fuss. Our caprese and tuna tartare were excellent but the entrees were disappointing - the ravioli was very overcooked, sauce and filling lacked flavor; the gnocchi was served in tomato sauce - the menu noted tomato (as in pieces of tomato not sauce) and Parmesan sauce and there was just a very little bit of cheese sauce, the gnocchi was also over cooked, not caramelized but actually burnt. Don’t understand the fuss over the coconut cream pie either. The bread seemed to be reheated a few times before being served to us. Our server was great, and we had a fabulous table at the window.
The owner is terrific - a great entrepreneur. However, the restaurant is noisy and somewhat tired looking. I agree with someone the other day who wonders why people go there anymore.
the wines are also very expensive for 6 oz - a comparable wine in many restaurants would be the same price for 9 oz. It also seemed that for $60, you could get a very very ordinary Australian low end wine. So we will return to Le Paradis where the value is high and the noise is low.
The service was and is impeccable. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left they were excellent in their service. The food is incredible and highly recommend. Turned out to be one of the best experiences
Everything from service to food was very good. Only slight ding would be took awhile to get the bill. Otherwise highly recommend!
Food was pretty good. Only issue was that we got moved - there was a large empty table to my right and two couples tables to my left. The host told us that a larger group wanted to move to the large empty table, and if we wanted more space and privacy, we were welcome to move two tables over. We obliged, leaving two couples tables between us and the large group. Within ten minutes, a couple came in and was sat directly next to us, rather than next to the larger group. It made it seem like we were asked to move to give the large group space and privacy, rather than us. I have never in my life been asked to move in a restaurant. Otherwise, pretty good spot.
Great food and service. Lovely ambiance. The perfect setting for a romantic getaway.
Filet mignon was delicious
Pasta was overly salty
Sommelier was good
Restaurant was rather loud for a Wednesday
Excellent. Our favorite restaurant in the world!
A very enjoyable birthday celebration for my lady. Waiter was excellent, as was the food. 3rd visit and it just keeps becoming more memorable.
Scaramouche is a reliable, no fail Toronto staple. The Pasta Bar is the more affordable option, but both sides of the restaurant offer a wide range of imaginative cooking. Fresh flavours in innovative but not experimental approaches.
As usual, excellent meal, fine ambience; easy valet parking a bonus
This place never fails to impress us. Thank you to the host for making an exception of letting us order off the restaurant menu at the pasta bar. The food and service are top notch!
Beyond my expectations! It was fantastic on every level!! Can’t wait to go again 🥰
Service and food were excellent and those are the most important areas. Great job! I’d definitely recommend it and be back. Delicious
Noise level for a late dinner at 9 pm was more than "energetic". At the beginning of the evening it was quite intolerable, but after the first hour of many table yelling across at each other it was very lovely
I would go again but not sure what might be a better time. Certainly not Saturday night with people on their phones and very loud "conversations"
Food and service was wonderful
As usual the evening was enjoyable food was tasty service was better than any restraint I go to and not pushy over all excellent evening
Always great food and fantastic service.
Fantastic food, intimate room, first class all the way.
