Amazing food, service, and ambiance! One of my favorite restaurants to dine at on a Saturday night! Always consistent with everything. Kurt was a fabulous waiter!!
Waiter forgot our wine, entree delayed and not warm , waiter forgot it was a birthday when dessert ordered.
A consistent favorite, we love our meals at Scampo time and time again. Inside was loud due to a private event in half the dining room but we had a lovely table on their outdoor back patio. The spaghetti carbonara is delicious as always and we tried the burrata, peach, and prosciutto and the lobster pizza - a real standout.
Second visit as good as the first.
Server was phenomenal despite an active business dinner and a crowded restaurant - thanks!
Celebrated my friend’s birthday; was fantastic!
The food was excellent as was the service and the patio!
The service, atmosphere and food were all excellent. The waiters and hostess were all knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner--The risotto was so tasty, with a soft-shelled crab on top. Our waitress was outstanding, accomodating when there was a failure of communicaiton. We loved finishing with the root beer float!!
Had another great meal at Scampo last evening, this time with my cousins and nephews. The place was pretty full on a Monday night, which translated into a somewhat noisy but energetic atmosphere. The service was good but the food was the highlight of the evening, especially the brick chicken and corn raviolis. That being said, Scampo will remain one of my "go to" spots in the city.
Extremely helpful and friendly. My guest asked for a table change, and they were very friendly through the whole thing. we ended up having a wonderful meal on the patio.
We were seated outdoors and it was lovely. Food was delicious!!
Don’t miss the lobster pizza. Should not work but is beyond amazing.
Wonderful evening celebrating a recent graduation from college. The food was delicious and the service staff were extremely attentive. Recommendations were on point. The noise level was quite loud maybe due to the brick walls and the internal acoustics. People are back enjoying inside dining and I can see why. Highly recommend.
The food was amazing our server was impeccable! The restaurant was very busy and our waitress did not miss a beat.
It's always a wonderful experience all around with each visit & stay!
Great restaurant! Every dish is very creative but not “weird”.
Amazing food and great service and atmosphere
We came to Boston on our way up to New Hampshire and stayed at Liberty Hotel at the recommendation of a friend. What a great hotel! Alibi was great for drinks and catching up with my friend before our delicious dinner at Scampo. I had the duck which was superb and my spouse had the bolengense. Everything was wonderful including the weather as we sat outside.
Scampo is pricey, but well worth it. The service was top-notch, and my request for a quiet table was honored. Our entrees (red snapper, duck) were both exquisitely prepared, and there was a good selection of wines by the glass.
Brian, our waiter, was outstanding! The food has been and still is delicious!
This is the place to enjoy dishes that have a simple, yet high flavor profile
The room has it's energy , that is enjoyable and inviting
New menu. Great choices.
Loved every bite. Will be back soon.
Highly anticipated our visit and was not disappointed. A fine dining experience.
Well prepared food with an interesting selection. Fun jazz vibe where you can have a relaxed conversation.
Great spot with amazing food. Unique dishes with a full bar option and their signature cocktails. Parking in the city as always is troublesome but there is valet for $35 at the hotel.
This restaurant never disappoints. Great service and food. The menu changes seasonally so it stays fresh and not boring. Its nice that Lydia takes the time to stop at the tables and talk to the patrons.
Waiter was fantastic. Food was great. Drinks were fantastic. Great time.
Lydia Shire's restaurant not only has some of the best food in the Boston area, but her entire staff is first rate. Everyone is friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and loved by her, truly! We gave a her a "thumbs up" when she came out of the kitchen, and she joined us for almost 15mins. Some of that time was praising everyone who worked for her. One of our favorite restaurants, especially for special occasions and celebrations.
The ambience was cool but I was very disappointed by the food. I would rather go upstairs and grab a drink and bar food.
Superb experience all around
Caesar salad bland, Red Snapper overcooked and dru
The food was horrible! Waitress was amazing though! To much money for the little portion of horrible food. Never again.
We had a very nice experience, made really special by our wonderful server!
She was so helpful, in choosing our wine and entrees, and we thoroughly enjoyed our choices.
The service was good but the food was terrible the calamari was soggy and the salmon was tasteless
Servers need to be better trained. As a business person running multiple restaurants I would let my staff act and talk like that. They all have attitude issues.
Great food and fun place.
The food and service were amazing.
Good and service were impeccable. We had cold pea soup, garlic bread, sea bass and salmon. Didn’t have room for dessert.
The food was not bad but a bit overpriced. The service was excellent, but the noise level was bad considering that our reservation was at 5:30. I have been there many times as it is in my neighborhood, but it was below the usual standards.
We stayed at the Liberty Hotel and were beyond please with every element of our experience there. Our meal was wonderful. We had a lovely table outdoors.
