Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar - Yonge & Gerrard
Our story is simple. Everything we can make fresh daily, we do. Including our hand-stretched mozzarella (made-to-order every day between 5pm & 11pm), our pasta, our signature 1/2 lb meatballs, our dough, bread and desserts.
Winner of the TripAdvisor 2015 Certificate of Excellence.
My friend Lukas took me out for my birthday dinner. The restaurant is close to his place and the Zucca ravioli is my favourite. He had pizza. Both of us had to gelato. We had a great server and great food.
An ideal Venue for a quiet Sunday afternoon lunch or brunch.
The food is authentic (Italian) and appears to be made with fresh ingredients.
Limited selection of Wines and Beer.
Staff are very courteous and friendly.
My wife and I went for dinner prior to a Mirvish play. Got seated right away. Server came by shortly after seating and sold us on the mozzarella appetizer. Server took our order for dinner, gave good recommendations and then paired the wine. Great service. Spaghetti was great, meatball ok. Gnocchi was good. Desert and cappuccino also was very good. All in all, great experience and I would definitely go back.
We went on our last day in Toronto 1/1/20. Although this is an Italian restaurant it is not traditional fare. The restaurant offers different size portions. The small was enough for me. The mozzarella is homemade the pizza dough is crispy. The polenta tots are very good. Not a meal that will wow you but you will leave satisfied n
Comida rica aunque un poco americanizada , ambiente agradable y muy buen servicio.
Lo mejor a mi gusto fue la burrata
Overall enjoyed the food, pizza and pasta dish was good. Price seemed reasonable.
I had the sirloin steak medium and it was outstanding. Perfectly cooked and the jus was excellent. Service was also great. An affordable night out and good casual dining. I enjoyed it!
Better than expected, will return. The super food salad was wonderful.
Pleasant staff, good food and a nice looking layout. Lots of options for business lunch meetings, to friends gathering to just grabbing a nice meal downtown. There are not a lot of reasonably priced good food options in the area, so this was a nice surprise.
Table too small for 4 people
Got seated quickly because of the reservation. The waitress was nice and served and always checked in. I ordered the chicken parm and was surprised that I had double the pasta versus the chicken. Didn’t want to take just pasta home.
I don't like how the bruschetta cannot be ordered in half sizes anymore. Also, I don't like how the tomatoes on the bruschetta are chopped now. Other than that, the food and service were fine this time.
Great food, service was a little slow.
Scaddabush has great staff, a nice ambience for lunch time business meetings or social gatherings. It is in a great location and has a good menu.
Great appetizers and desserts. Main courses ok but not great. Cocktail seemed to have little alcohol. Would go again but only for the mozzarella and prosciutto app and tiramisu. Both are excellent. Coffee was warm not hot. Would skip the pastas.
Scaddabush is my favourite restaurant! Great food, can accommodate large parties, and the service is always great. I come often! I love the vibe there.
Food took forever to arrive, my salad so over dressed so soggy, never asked if we wanted another drink, no water refill, could have been so much better
Great dining experience! Our meal and server were excellent!
I always make a point of going to scaddabush whenever I’m in Toronto . But rarely get to this location . However I might make the trek as this was much quieter much friendlier and much less crowded .
Our server took over 15 to come to our table. Placed our drink, app and mains order. The app arrived to the table before our drinks. We also had to flag someone down for plates. Also it was 5pm so the restaurant was practically empty!
We were greeted and seated right away. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food prices were fair. The food was times great. The temperature was just right. The food tasted excellent. We would recommend this restaurant highly
Everything was good except the spaghetti and meatballs need a bit more flavour otherwise overall the food was good
Not a bad place for a casual lunch but probably not the best for a quite dinner. The place was louder than most places , music especially. The food wasn’t the best but still pretty good, only a little pricey. We had a discount so it was nice overall.
Great food and service.
Awesome place and food
Please share your half bottle wine special. We didn’t hear it from our server and rather our neighbouring dining mate.
Great vibe and pizza is always satisfying!
Great experience, fast service. Rebecca was very pleasant and friendly and food was amazing
Definitly the place to go out and have dinner in Toronto. Great service, delicious food, nice atmosphere, ... However the noice level was sometimes quite high and it wasn’t always easy to understand everyone around the table.
Was really nice and I loved the variety of cocktails they offer
Went for birthday dinner and was not disappointed ! The mozzarella was amazing. Currently craving more !
Good food and service. Great ambience
Food was good. The waitress got confused with a special request for no dairy and the food for one of our party members was late.
The Scaddabush chain is always a great place to eat. Wish they all had the handmade mozza available all day.
Pastas and breads were good. Steak was chewy. Server was really good. Loud and dark.
There are now other local options available with competitive menu options and pricing in the area.
Overall good food and great service. We will go back again for sure.
Scaddabush is a nice Restauraunt with good to very good food and friendly, efficient service. It is convenient to downtown hotels and sights.
Family get together. Fresh sauce, bread, pasta, and mozzarella. Delicious dinner overall.
Great food with reasonable price， combine with patient waiters and waitresses. I definitely want to go this fantastic place again in the future.
