Good Food and service, the view of Las Vegas from our table was lovely and atmosphere, will dine there again.
We have dined at SC Prime on several occasions. Always top notch service, food and ambience.
Great waiter...the appetizer filet with lobster when I cut it in half it was ice cold ...outer part was hot...rIbeye was good dish was beautifully served. The cold appetizer was a turn off for me. Nothing special.
Brenda was our server and she did a great job. The food was great and reasonably priced.
Oysters were on point! Scallops with bacon were yummy. Ribeye has above average, especially for the price. Prime rib was juicy and perfectly cooked. A similar meal at the Red Rock would have cost twice as much. Albeit the Red Rock has a nicer venue, but the food itself was at least a full level below the quality of the food at the Suncoast. Definitely coming back to share this hidden gem with friends and family. Great food, great value. Thank you SC Prime!
The food was ok not fantastic. We never got refills on our water. JD to remind the waiter we ordered wine well after the main course was brought out.
Very slow service; credit card system down, prime rib very mediocre.
Inconsistent from last month. Prime Rib/third tough & unbeatable, Bone in Rib Eye $45 was too thin (1”) for my preferred char outside & rare inside..meat was dry, no char & medium. Don’t sit at last booth on bottom level/reception side. Servers slam trays down on railing right at your head/ears (made me jump...felt like I was at Denny’s). So sad cause a month ago we were singing their praises. Now onto another more consistent dining.
Great anniversary dinner! Ronda was our server, who was spectacular!
Food, ambience and noiseevel was exceptional!
The complimentary dessert was decadent!
Waitstaff was excellent. Bread basket marvelous. The spinach salad was very good as was the wedge. The filet was served with vegetables and so was the excellent queen size prime rib. The steaks were both cooked as we expected and seasoned well. THe cheddar mac and cheese was a nice alternative since we usually get their cheese baked potatoes. An exceptionally good meal.
It was ok. I m glad I had a coupon for 35 dollars.
reserved it for my husband birthday which was May 2nd ,table adjacent to us ,the couple celebrated a birthday too, complimentary desert & special attention was provided yet we did not receive the same attention,no complimentary dessert . I do not know why were we asked for the occasion then
Service was excellent! My waiter (Lawrence) did a great job ... his knowledge of the wine list was very helpful.
We had not visited SC Prime Steakhouse at the Sun Coast for at least two years. We had a great savings coupon, so we decided to try the restaurant again. Our dinner was delicious. I had the bone-in rib eye steak which was cooked perfectly and was quite tasty. MY husband had the beef medallions with potatoes and vegetable. He really enjoyed his meal. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We will be returning soon!
Just a night out to one of our favorite steak houses. Food as always was excellent, great lobster bisque and an outstanding filet. Service however was horrible, worse we have EVER experienced at SC Steak house. The server paid way too much attention to the large party next to us and the couple seated behind us that it was apparent she was friends with. We were seated before the other parties and our order was taken after them. Then to top off the evening we learned when our credit card bill came in that our charge to SC steak was charge as twice the amount!!!! We called the bank to learn that our receipt was as as shows, $81.44 BUT that SC had submitted twice that amount. Our bank will correct that but be careful folks, watch your bank account for bad charges. Rest assured that server will never wait on us again, we will see to that.
We've been to SC Steakhouse maybe 10 times and this is the first time I felt they really just missed the mark. It's confusing to get into now, thanks to construction, but once we figured that out, wasn't an issue. Services was off. We sat and were asked about water within a minute or two--so far, so good. Server came a long time after that to ask about drinks. We ordered and, again, a longer than expected wait. Was quite some time before the server asked us for our order. First course came on the slow side but entrees were timed right. We sat and waited for the check for a while as well. It wasn't a busy night, plenty of empty seating, so I don't know what happened. I was disappointed and that's the first time I've been disappointed by anything there. We'll go back but if it's hit and miss service again, that'll be the last visit.
We have been to this restaurant two times. The first time everything was excellent. We had the same waiter both times. The second time the food was good but the service was lacking. When our food arrived, my daughter had forgotten to request the béarnaise sauce. The waiter said they would bring some right away. We waited and waited. The waiter would never come back to our table to check on us. We thought when someone comes to refill our drinks, we will ask them about it but no one came to refill our drinks. Our table was located in the middle. We kept trying to get the waiter's attention but each time he would stop at another table, turn away from us and go towards the back. My daughter finally gave up and ate about half of her steak but by then it was cold. When he finally came, we mentioned it and he apologized and blamed it on miscommunication with the other staff members. They did include some sauce with our left overs at no charge. This was a birthday dinner for my husband. The receptionist noted it and wished him a happy birthday but the waiter seemed oblivious and did nothing to indicate he was aware of the occasion. I had assumed that this would be communicated to the waiter by the receptionist. I thought there would be at least a scoop of ice cream for him or something to acknowledge the occasion. By the time the waiter came back, we were just ready to leave because of the problem with no sauce, no beverage refills. The meal was not enjoyable because we kept trying to get someone to pay attention to us. We could not enjoy the occasion. I was very, very disappointed. I was expecting an experience like we had the first time we went there.
It was great!
The bread, prime rib, desserts, cocktails and service are the best in Las Vegas.
This steakhouse is equivalent to any of the top-notch steakhouses. We went because of the $35 off coupon in the newspaper, but we would definitely return even without the coupon.
This hidden gem in the Suncoast hotel is outstanding. I've been here several times and they don't disappoint. Steaks are well prepared and staff is attentative without being overbearing. Restaurant can accommodate wheelchairs and walkers.
Lovely restaurant! Food was very good and we all enjoyed the atmosphere and the view. Would certainly recommend! Also good for family dinners -- there were several well behaved children there.
T-Bones WAS our favorite steakhouse. SCPrime beats them in ALL areas: food, service (thank you Brenda), $.
I will begin by saying the food was very good. Our son came to town for his birthday and he loves prime rib. Waited a long time for starters while we ate bread (short handed we were told). I Advised that we were celebrating a birthday when making reservation and when we were seated. They forgot and we just got our check (no song, no cake although we heard singing at 3-4 other tables. ) Waiter (nice and attentive) said sorry but he had told the staff and offered to wrap a piece of cake (no thanks).
Kudos to the manager and hostess. When they heard of our situation I got a call and a generous offer for a discount on a return visit. Class act and yes, I understand that you don’t get it right all of the time. I’m impressed that they took ownership and responded in a kind way.
Steak was tender and flavorful, fresh catch special cooked perfect, artfully presented. Service was spot on!
Food was excellent, but the service was slow and never very attentive.
Must ask for the waiter, Lawrence. He is just wonderful!
The experience at this restaurant was terrible.Seated for 15 minutes before anyone said ‘hi’, I finally had to find someone to ask if we had a waiter, he said there was some confusion! We ordered the signature dish, the ribeye, which was sold out! We then ordered the porterhouse an appetizer and a salad. The steak arrived with the salad and the waiter said ‘hope this is ok, there is some confusion.’We said ok, otherwise I’m sure the $58 steak would have been kept warm while we had our salad! It seems to be all about confusion...never again!
The 4 of us absolutely loved it. The food was incredible We didn't get much of a view but we had a little and we are from Las Vegas so we will recommend it highly and we will be back. We were pleasantly surprised.
Great service,food and drink!
Always enjoy my meal at SC Prime. I was eating there with my cousin, his wife and his son. I had the prime rib and it was very good. My cousin's wife had the scallops which she enjoyed, I might have to try them the next time I go there. I play quite a bit at Suncoast and usually use my points or get a comp for the meal. But I really enjoy the restaurant and would eat there without any comps. Thank you for always delivering.
Atmosfere was relaxing, Shawn was excellent explaining
all specials and with service will recommend
that place for any occasions
Suggestion: better back round music, acoustic not that good.
This place was not. At all as I expected! The food. Was terrible I ordered a filet mignon and lobster the lobster was over cooked! My husband orders the blackened prime rib and all it was was a. Burnt rib steak the service was slow slow! People were complaining they weren't getting there orders I will not be going to another Boyd gaming restaurant that's. For sure that was my birthday dinner what a let down 250.00 down the drain!
We were very pleased with our shrimp cocktails. They each had five very large shrimp and they were delicious, as were our main courses. For desert we shared a really large piece of truly decadent chocolate cake. All in all we had a great time with delightful food and lovely atmosphere.
Everything was great except 2 of the 4 steaks were not properly cooked. 1 petite filet ordered medium was cooked well or well done. When we complained it came back medium rare. The other medium filet was ordered medium well and it came back well done. He didn’t complain but was not pleased. Other than that it was a great experience.
SC Prime was such a huge disappointment. The appetizer special shrimp and lobster dumpling was tasteless and I could not discern any lobster. The French onion soup was the worst ever. It was more like a bowl of thick gravy with trace amounts of onion and the cheeses on top was extremely difficult to eat. My husband came for the prime steak which no longer is on their menu. The restaurant should be renamed to SC choice and not SC Prime.
My husband had the crab and corn chowder which he says was mostly potatoes. I also had the spinach salad with bacon vinaigrette which too was horrible.
We will never revisit SV Choice.
The prime rib and the porterhouse steak were excellent and cooked as requested to perfection - truly rare is rare to receive as ordered. Only drawback was lack of tongs and crackers for the king crab legs - as served to the table there were insufficient cracks in the shell to remove meat in one pull. The restaurant had none to provide, luckily I had enough experience to be able to make use of a seafood fork to open the shell enough to remove the meat.
SC PRIME STEAKHOUSE never disappoint. Their happy hour is great and the food is top notch. Everything taste superb and staff is always friendly. Our favorite steak house in Summelin.
Excellent service by Rhonda. She recommended the prime rib grilled and blackened. I was skeptical, but it was a great variation on the traditional cut. If it wasn't for the noise from the bar, I would have rated the level quiet instead of moderate.
