SC Prime Steak Burger*
10oz creekstone farms patty, white cheddar, caramelized onions, tomato, wild arugula, dijonnaise, griddled potato bun, parmesan-garlic fries
center cut, black angus beef
Everything was fine but yes, a bit pricey. Just not an outstanding experience. No issues just not super!
The inside setting and ambience was calm and beautiful, the view is also something to look at. The food was delicious and worth every penny. I totally enjoyed my birthday .
The Ambiance was great.
We have dined at SC Steakhouse AT SUNCOAST Casino in Summerlin,
3 times, as we live close by .
Consistenty, all 3 times, the bread basket had STALE bread. Particularly,
the round white rolls were mushy on 1 side & concrete-hard on other side
(consistent of putting stale rolls in a microwave). The dark mini loaves were
wet & mushy. As a couple who does frequent fine-dining, SC steakhouse should know better. There is NO quality control. The raisin bread slices were fresh & delicious.
We again ordered crab cakes as appetizers, as last visit they were chewy & gummy, with no-flavor. It tasted thawed out & frozen consistency. Crab cakes in high-end restaurants are hand-done with whole-chunks of crabmeat “ visible” of delicious meaty crab chunks,
with delicious spices & flavoring.
These tasted straight out of a can..,
These cakes had mush & chewy inside. Terrible.
Our main dishes were veal Marsala & chicken picatta. These 2 dishes are offered Thursday’s only( italian night menu).
We both agreed both were passable. Some parts soft & some parts chewy.
We loved the wine.
When diners patronize a high-end restaurant, they expect “ quality” from the moment they walk-in. This starts with the bread-basket, as all 3 of our visits, had same hard & mushy rolls, indicating, management doesn’t care about quality control, for all the food
provided to its patrons. Food which should be tasted or observed not-fit for diners consumption, prior to placing bread baskets on table..
Wanting to save a few bucks on rolls; instead of discarding them in trash each night!!
We are so disappointed. These flaws can easily be corrected with right
staff on hand & management doing
better at quality control, The crab cakes were awful ; & we intentionally had them on 2 separate visits, awful..
Incredible meal!! Never a disappointment. Nice ambiance and great service, it's why I always return time after time.
Ambience was great with high ceiling and high large windows. We sat by the window overlooking hills and shopping center building. The steak was prepared just right. Crab cakes were delicious. Bread assortment was good except couple of them were sour. The check tab we received was a wrong one, of course the correct one was brought soon after.
Best prime rib I have had in Las Vegas> nice place a little too noisy
food was not cold but not hot either, steak was way over cooked and the salmon also was warm not hot, same with the baked potatoes wouldn't even melt the butter
Great food and service!
Food always good. Service is usually good, seemed like order take/servers were overwhelmed last night. Short staff? 50th Anniversary. Requested window table. Noted both on the reservation. Someone forget, or just don't read them? Poor showing.
They tried to pass off a New York steak as a Ribye steak. Sides were cold
So happy to get to dine here again. Very high class, super views and great for date night or dining with friends for a special occasion. Food was prepared to perfection.
I was skeptical after reading the reviews . However we had an awesome time , the server was very attentive and visited the table often. I have prime, wife had fillet both were cook perfectly and both very very tasty. Is bit pricy and is older but every thing else is first class.
Food was awesome and our waiter Sean was excellent!
Foods was great all 4 times. Service was excellent all 3 times. Last night Service was good.
Always love the SC Prime Steakhouse and this was no different. Wonderful meal.
Excellent service from Brenda, who was prompt, upbeat, warm, and efficient without making us feel rushed - which we appreciated.
Brenda chilled our wine immediately on her own accord to ensure it was cold enough prior to our entree arrival - nice touch :)
Sea bass was amazing - prepared perfectly.
All staff was on point- even the bartender stopped by to inquire about the ratio of my old fashioned (which was the best I've had in YEARS, by the way)
Wouldn't change a thing, except bringing back the raisin bread, hint, hint...
Limited choices to eat at while staying at the Suncoast for a convention. Good steakhouse but nothing really spectacular for the price you pay. Steak was overcooked but still edible. Mashed potatoes were great. Creme brûlée was not cooked and was runny but my husband ate it anyway. Server was friendly
Happy SC Prime is back open. Just as good as we remembered it before the shutdown. Still our go to place for special occasions! Wish they would bring back their Prime Rib specials where you received a complete meal (salad, vegetable, and potato) for one price, instead of ala cart.
For the price of the steaks.. The food had zero taste.. (Mac-n-cheese was awful) and the service was bad. Never cam back to our table.. Wasn’t asked how everything was till after we put the napkins on the table. Expired milk. Wouldn’t go back. Really disappointed..
It was nice to go back to a Steakhouse we have visited before. I would say it was just nice, nothing special. The service was great, the food was OK, Prime Rib and Filet, mashed potato's . We eat out often and are lucky to have such great restaurant's in the Las Vegas area. SC Prime at the Suncoast was average, nothing to say wow about.
We celebrated our anniversary. My husband & I shared a wedge salad (asked for it to be chopped). The kitchen plated it on two chilled plates for us. The bread basket had nice varieties of bread, rolls & crackers. I had Scottish salmon which was moist and delicious. My husband had an end cut prime rib. We shared a very large baked potato. Our server, Sean, was attentive, got our order correct, kept our drinks filled and surprised us with a chocolate shell filled with chocolate mousse. It was a delightful meal.
We have been frequent customers at SC Prime. First time back since COVID. The food quality and service are not near the levels as before. It is not worth the prices they are charging. Everybody including the kitchen staff is probably new there. Give them time to work things out before going back.
Great service by Brenda…She is an asset to the company.
Had a great waiter but our food was so so. Not bad just not great
To expensive for what you get.. and food was not that good
As before, we’re so thrilled that SC is back. Always we enjoyed the food, service and the restaurant as a whole. can’t wait to go back.
Great place to have a date. Service was excellent and very friendly and inviting! Definitely will revisit😄
This food was so disappointing. $50 steaks should be great. Honestly, this place is competing with some
of the great steakhouses in town but not even delivering Outback quality. Bland steaks. Three steaks ordered at different temperatures all coming out the same. Three sides. Two were so-so. One was awful. Server not even curious whether we were happy with our steaks when first served or why we barely touched our sides. We are not going back. If you are thinking of going to Echo & Rig right across the street.
Four of us all had steaks. Two were under cooked, one was slightly over cooked and one was perfect. Sides were all delicious as was dessert. Service was good, atmosphere was very good. We’ll be going back in the near future.
Excellent 1st time experience— great friendly servers, great steaks & seafood! Celebrated friends wedding anniversary and our server brought our a delicious chocolate dessert as a surprise! Very nice touch!! Will visit again.
So disappointed. Chilean seabass was dry and fishy. Prime rib medium well instead of medium rare. Asked twice for a 2nd glass of wine, never got it. Friendly service and nice ambiance.
There were four of us who dined there. The service was excellent, everyone was very attentive to our needs, and they were all friendly. The food was excellent. We all had the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection! So delicious. The chop salad was also excellent as well as the bread basket, mushrooms and dessert.
Waited 10 minutes to order martinis. After 5 minutes bar tender came and told us they did not have Beefeater gin--only Bombay Sapphire so said that would be okay. 10 minutes later, the martinis come BUT THEY HAVE OLIVES IN THEM. We had told the waiter NO OLIVES. He said he was sorry and took my drink back. Another 5 minutes and I got my drink. Ordered 2 NY 16 oz steaks--one rare and one well done charred. Both steaks came CHARRED. The steaks were 2" high and about 6 inches long. Looked like 2 small roast beefs NOT A STEAK. My wife and I are 89 years old and have never seen a steak like this. They are much wider and not not thick. The steaks were tough and NOT SEASONED. The whole evening was a disaster. By the way, the steaks cost $52 each and nothing comes with it. The whole restaurant look extremely drab--just a white table cloth and no flowers and anything. Do not go there for steak.
We’ve been here a dozen times and post-pandemic, they’re just not as good. Service was iffy—we waited a really long time for drinks, 20 minutes before getting them. Plates were dropped on the table, not placed on the table, and the food was so-so for the first time ever. I had salmon and it was dry and pretty tasteless. Honestly, we’re not going back. There are a lot of better options.
Maybe they're understaffed...because service was quite slow. Normally their Chilean Sea Bass is amazing, but when it came out it looked like a frozen fish patty - tasted ok, but barely ate any of it - wasn't at all like it usually is!!
Very disappointing over all...
Moses the waiter excellent. That is a real waiter. Bake potato for$8.00 not really price appropriate. How about $3.00. Steak delish. Price could be abit lower than $50.00 . Bring in more customers lower the prices. Please at sherbet or gelato to dessert choices.
Can't have dairy or sweet.
Selected this restaurant for our anniversary; had never been before. Service was great, steaks though, very under impressed. Would’ve much rather grilled my own at home; but the service was great, Ambiance, good. It was nice to get out of the house for a little bit anyways. Would not choose to go back...
The food was OK but too pricey for what they give you. Ordered the French onion soup and it was extremely salty. In fact all of the food was salty.
We had to send food back and the Chef did not come out to us, but came and sat with the gentleman at the next table and they were quite loud talking about baseball. Not a very romantic dinner! Our waiter was good, so this review has nothing to do with him,
I would not go back to this restaurant.
Prime Rib eye is not quality beef and likely lowest quality, extremely dry and tough. My knife struggled to cut through the meat. Poor temperature.
Would not return if that is the quality of the rib eye and will never recommend. Host did not acknowledge BDay that was added to reservation.
