View Private Dining DetailsThis steakhouse is equivalent to any of the top-notch steakhouses. We went because of the $35 off coupon in the newspaper, but we would definitely return even without the coupon.
Lovely restaurant! Food was very good and we all enjoyed the atmosphere and the view. Would certainly recommend! Also good for family dinners -- there were several well behaved children there.
Always great!!!
T-Bones WAS our favorite steakhouse. SCPrime beats them in ALL areas: food, service (thank you Brenda), $.
I will begin by saying the food was very good. Our son came to town for his birthday and he loves prime rib. Waited a long time for starters while we ate bread (short handed we were told). I Advised that we were celebrating a birthday when making reservation and when we were seated. They forgot and we just got our check (no song, no cake although we heard singing at 3-4 other tables. ) Waiter (nice and attentive) said sorry but he had told the staff and offered to wrap a piece of cake (no thanks).
Kudos to the manager and hostess. When they heard of our situation I got a call and a generous offer for a discount on a return visit. Class act and yes, I understand that you don’t get it right all of the time. I’m impressed that they took ownership and responded in a kind way.
Steak was tender and flavorful, fresh catch special cooked perfect, artfully presented. Service was spot on!
Food was excellent, but the service was slow and never very attentive.
Must ask for the waiter, Lawrence. He is just wonderful!
The experience at this restaurant was terrible.Seated for 15 minutes before anyone said ‘hi’, I finally had to find someone to ask if we had a waiter, he said there was some confusion! We ordered the signature dish, the ribeye, which was sold out! We then ordered the porterhouse an appetizer and a salad. The steak arrived with the salad and the waiter said ‘hope this is ok, there is some confusion.’We said ok, otherwise I’m sure the $58 steak would have been kept warm while we had our salad! It seems to be all about confusion...never again!
The 4 of us absolutely loved it. The food was incredible We didn't get much of a view but we had a little and we are from Las Vegas so we will recommend it highly and we will be back. We were pleasantly surprised.
Great service,food and drink!
Always enjoy my meal at SC Prime. I was eating there with my cousin, his wife and his son. I had the prime rib and it was very good. My cousin's wife had the scallops which she enjoyed, I might have to try them the next time I go there. I play quite a bit at Suncoast and usually use my points or get a comp for the meal. But I really enjoy the restaurant and would eat there without any comps. Thank you for always delivering.
Atmosfere was relaxing, Shawn was excellent explaining
all specials and with service will recommend
that place for any occasions
Suggestion: better back round music, acoustic not that good.
This place was not. At all as I expected! The food. Was terrible I ordered a filet mignon and lobster the lobster was over cooked! My husband orders the blackened prime rib and all it was was a. Burnt rib steak the service was slow slow! People were complaining they weren't getting there orders I will not be going to another Boyd gaming restaurant that's. For sure that was my birthday dinner what a let down 250.00 down the drain!
We were very pleased with our shrimp cocktails. They each had five very large shrimp and they were delicious, as were our main courses. For desert we shared a really large piece of truly decadent chocolate cake. All in all we had a great time with delightful food and lovely atmosphere.
Everything was great except 2 of the 4 steaks were not properly cooked. 1 petite filet ordered medium was cooked well or well done. When we complained it came back medium rare. The other medium filet was ordered medium well and it came back well done. He didn’t complain but was not pleased. Other than that it was a great experience.
SC Prime was such a huge disappointment. The appetizer special shrimp and lobster dumpling was tasteless and I could not discern any lobster. The French onion soup was the worst ever. It was more like a bowl of thick gravy with trace amounts of onion and the cheeses on top was extremely difficult to eat. My husband came for the prime steak which no longer is on their menu. The restaurant should be renamed to SC choice and not SC Prime.
My husband had the crab and corn chowder which he says was mostly potatoes. I also had the spinach salad with bacon vinaigrette which too was horrible.
We will never revisit SV Choice.
The prime rib and the porterhouse steak were excellent and cooked as requested to perfection - truly rare is rare to receive as ordered. Only drawback was lack of tongs and crackers for the king crab legs - as served to the table there were insufficient cracks in the shell to remove meat in one pull. The restaurant had none to provide, luckily I had enough experience to be able to make use of a seafood fork to open the shell enough to remove the meat.
SC PRIME STEAKHOUSE never disappoint. Their happy hour is great and the food is top notch. Everything taste superb and staff is always friendly. Our favorite steak house in Summelin.
Excellent service by Rhonda. She recommended the prime rib grilled and blackened. I was skeptical, but it was a great variation on the traditional cut. If it wasn't for the noise from the bar, I would have rated the level quiet instead of moderate.
This was for my husband's birthday and we were lucky enough to catch a special which made it affordable. The Server was outstanding. She was attentive, helpful and really went out of her way to make my husband's birthday special. We had a great table with a view and the food was very good. This may be a bit pricey, but I intend to save up so that we can go there more often whether or not there is a special on.
Waiters are exceptional and friendly. Enjoyed the calming atmoshere
We all had the prime rib special and it was very well prepared. I enjoyed it very much.
Scampi shrimp were cooked too long, were hard with little flavor. Salad was great. Price for meal was a little high. We have eaten here before but quality was not as good this time. Servers were great. For a Saturday night, the restaurant at 7:30 was rather empty.
New years eve reservation for 7, not seated until about 7:20. However Lawrence our server was apologetic and bought us a round of drinks, as well as complementary champagne. His service was great as well as his team. He said he'd been there over 10 years. He sent back my husbands prime rib as it was over cooked. and it came out quick. food was good, very hot and nice portions. Mostly over 50 crowd likely due to it being Suncoast and the retirement area nearby. A bit loud due to large parties but also that it was a holiday.
We went for New Year’s Eve. Wish they would’ve mentioned it was only a prefixed menu. The food was good. The tiger shrimp’s tasted like they were pre-cooked frozen and re-grilled. Not much flavor to the shrimp. The ribeye was very good. The service was very very good.
The atmosphere and ambiance are exceptional. The service is both attentive and professional. The food, wow, what can I say...exquisite. This dinner involved family and friends and SC Prime Steakhouse lived up to its advertising. All agreed that SC Prime Steakhouse is a definite repeat.
We have been here many times. The restaurant was not crowded which surprised us because it was Christmas Day. The food was excellent as always, especially the au gratin potatoes. The service was not great considering that half of the tables were empty.
I had rack of lamb which was nothing special. My wife had the Christmas special. The corn soup was very good and tasty with large pieces of chicken. The filet was tender and flavorful but the shrimps were a disappointment. They were bland and don't look appetizing.
Fantastic Christmas Diner. Food and service was outstanding. Will be back again. Elegant room with great views from the second story location.
Love sc prime always hits the spot
Christmas eve dinner at SC Prime Steakhouse has become an annual family tradition. It is the perfect way to sit, relax and savor - excellent food, attentive service , lovely surroundings - with family.
Service was superb. Food was better than average but not superb.
I didn't want to go to the strip and since I live nearby, I figured it would be a good idea to come here for a steak dinner.
Parking is convenient and just a short walk from the casino. Once you enter, the elevator up to SC Prime is just to the right. So you do not have to cross a labyrinth like some of the strip casinos can be, lol.
Once you pop out of the elevator, you are treated to a classy joint. We were seated promptly and service went smoothly.
I ordered a ribeye, and my friend had the filet. I ordered it medium rare but it came medium. However, it was still good and had a nice wood flavor to it. We had it with mushrooms and mac n'cheese, both good.
We finished up with dessert with the chocolate cake and the NY cheese cake. Both as one would expect.
Nothing really stood out as amazing though. It is hard to knock on it though, but in Vegas with all the great dining options we have, I find myself hard pressed to return here.
We enjoyed drinks and an early dinner with another couple. We all though the food was great as was the service. Our friends had prime rib and it was cooked to just the degree they requested. We shared a delicious serving of chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert. SC Prime is one of our favorite restaurants.
The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was excellent ! We had a party of 12 and the staff was very accommodating. Our waiter, Lawrence did an outstanding job! It was a great experience and would definitely come back
The bread was not good at all and the steaks were bland.
We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary and could not think of a better place to be. The food was excellent as always and we to return for an early dinner on New Years Eve. Keep up the good work
Made reservation for 9:30pm, and maybe late for kitchen. Wifes steak was ordered Med, came med rare. Potatos we shared, ordered AuGratan, and got garlic mashed. (not a big deal) but were cold. My steak was ok, but not worth more than a 3 star rating. Dont really know if I would return.
The staff was great, our waiter was great, likewise the room and view was nice. Unfortunately the food was not. My wife had the shrimp scampi and I had the sea bass which were both just okay. Perhaps when at a steakhouse one should have steak? The creamed spinach was not good and we were not charged. It was a birthday and we were comped a nice piece of chocolate cake which my wife really liked. So overall, a nice experience but disappointed in the food.
