   There was a very large birthday party group expected. but this made no difference to our seating, our service, or our food, all of which were topnotch, from the hello of the hostess to the "thanks for coming" we heard from all when we left. The food we received was perfectly prepared and tasted even better than we remembered from last time, beverage refills were all right on cue. Altogether a brilliant evening: all stars all around!

   Beautiful restaurant with an outstanding menu, split a bunch of smaller dishes with my wife, service was quick and pleasant. Best stuffed grapes leaves I’ve ever had, we will be back!

   You know you're visiting a different kind of restaurant from the moment you step into the dining room with its subdued-lighting, small votive candles on the tables and the unfamiliar Caucasus-region music playing in the background. All the usual Mediterranean dishes are there, but different. Yes, humus, baba ganoush, tabouli and more -- but somehow different, as Armenia is different from next-door Turkey and Iran, whose cuisine is familiar to me. And there are plenty of specialities and other dishes that require a wait-server to explain in a helpful and friendly way. Our party of three thoroughly enjoyed a variety of dishes, along with equally unfamiliar wines, and each one was delicious.

   A warm welcome when we arrived was followed by a concerted effort on the part of all staff to give us a very special dinner. We enjoyed a booth in a niche, and all our favorite foods were even better than we'd been obsessing about ever since we made the reservation. Beverage refills were on the button, All stars all around!

   Truly outstanding. Went on the recommendation of a friend and I was blown away. I was a tad early for my reservation, but was seated right away. Service was quick and welcoming. Ambiance was cozy and the booth was so comfortable- would have been great for a date night! I ordered a vegetarian friendly mezza platter of hummus, labneh, yalanchi sarma, and plaki, along with an Armeni-tini and knafi for dessert. The stuffed grape leaves were the best I've ever had, and I told my friend the knafi was the way god intended it to be. The labneh was also exceptional- tart and thick and creamy. Everything was amazing, and if I find myself back in Chicago, I'll dine here again. Honestly, it was hard not to return for a second night before I left town!

   Lucked into this wonderful place during a four-day Chicago stay and will definitely be back. The sautéed lamb is out of this world and ranked as my favorite dish on the trip. Friendly and attentive staff, beautiful space, didn't break the bank. Everything I could want!

   Well seasoned, sometimes rich offerings. Suggest you browse the menu and reviews in advance to narrow what you might want based on your tastes. Truly ethnic food (Armenian), not Americanized. Consult with your server

   Delicious food, excellent cocktails, efficient and friendly staff. 2 starters and 3 mains between 3 of us, dessert (the custard with syrup and walnuts) was delightful. Try the armenian coffee.

    My home base for delicious food when in Chicago. Friendly staff, pleasant surroundings, absolutely tantalizing and deeply satisfying cuisine.
