Waited way too long for our food, it seems dinner time is busy for skip the dishes.
This was a pleasant surprise..... very good value for price. Service was excellent and under the current circumstances, location of clients were considered.
Well done, Sawmill!
Steak ordered rare, was for most part raw, and overly salty
Halibut as a mild fish was cooked using Cajan and was overly spicy
Prime Rib ordered medium rate, was for most part well to very well done
Stony Plain has few "dining" experiences and must saw that after yrs of living here was disappointed in the food
Server was excellent
Great food and service. Very nice atmosphere. Will be there again.
Food was not very good at all would not recommend
Will not go back
The restaurant is cold, food not too hat it should be.
My sisters birthday and food was good. Quite and easy to talk. Service was ok.
Very disappointing took 15 min before a Server came over and the place was empty. A lot of disruptions from the staff setting up the morning buffet. The food and drink was average.
Was here with my kids. Food was good. But service was very poor.
Food was awesome. Staff very attentive. Price was reasonable. Quite enjoyable.
Staff very helpful and efficient. Chef went out of his way to provide what we came in for.
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with great service.
The best service ever! The best prime rib ever!
The 30% sale on the steak and lobster was deceiving. I would have thought that 30% off would have been 30% off the 34.95 however the steak was not described as being different prices for all four of the choices. I was really surprised at the total when it came.
We, were obviously able to pay that amount but if you were to have had someone who had no credit card OR had not brought enough funds, then quite honestly, THAT would have been on you for misleading the customer...as well as being hugely embarrassing for the customer.
On the other side of the coin, the ribeye was perfect...and huge! Large portion of mashed as well as HOT broccoli and carrots. I know how hard it is to serve hot broccoli as it cools so quickly. The meal was delicious!
Had a great Brunch with family to celebrate Valentine's. Well done as usual except the seafood. It was pretty rubbery and tasteless. It is usually very good.
We love coming to the brunch. Whether it is for Mother’s Day or just Sunday brunch, it’s one of our favourite breakfast places.
The valentines experience did not go well. Unfortunately everything from the reservation time where they were running way behind, there systems down so had problems with service food payments, basically everything. All people visiting around the same time were all upset so the whole ambiance was miserable. The food when finally came out was good otherwise did not enjoy the evening. Then to top it off get an email from open table saying the restaurant reported we did not attend our reservation. Just topped it off. Hopefully will improve next time but we would not go back on a special occasion any time soon for fear of it ruining the evening. We have been there many times and this was by far our worst experience dining out
Went for Valentine’s Day. It was busy and the reservation was a bit delayed, but it was expected. Food was delicious. Servers and hostesses were very friendly and apologetic for delays.
The manager (I think his name was George?) was especially wonderful in ensuring we had a good experience. Our reservation was mixed up, but despite this he was able to provide us a table in a timely manner. This made our night particularly pleasant. Overall, wonderful restaurant, it was my first time and I will definitely being returning.
A busy Valentines night for the restruant . Service was good , food was excellent as always. A good limited selection menu was offered. Overall an excellent night out for us.
The “special” menu was way over priced for what you got.
I will not be returning on an occasion like that.
Also there were no “alcohol free” options for dessert as I am pregnant and cannot have alcohol.
Had a couples date night. We all enjoyed our meals and time there. We will definitely be back!
The saw mill special was phenomenal...and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. And the service was excellent. A very enjoyable time.
Fantastic as always
We had an enjoyable outing at the Sawmill to celebrate my sister's birthday.
Food was excellent and we had a lot of fun with the chocolate dome dessert!
Food was Delicious, room was comfortable, great service
Food, service and atmosphere was very good. However found the portions to be small compared to the price.
Sunday Brunch Buffet was great. Excellent selection, and great quality.
Service was great and the food was outstanding. Steak was cooked perfectly and the seasoning on the vegetables was delicious. The Spiced Holiday drink was a treat. I look forward to returning to the Sawmill. Thanks
Really good experience overall. It was quiet, not too busy and the food was great.
After booking my reservation on line I thought I should confirm that the restaurant was open because it was New Year’s Day. After confirming that it was in fact open, I asked the lady at the desk if there were any specials that day. She advised that the only special they had was 1/2 price bottles of wine. When we got to the restaurant I asked the waitress if in fact the wine was 1/2 price. She said that it wasn’t. When I asked to speak to the manager about it, she advised that he had just left for the day. A little disappointing but the meal was good.
The meats and entrees were very good but the desserts could have come from Safeway.
Great Service by Andrea!
Wish the salads and deviled eggs were on ice.
Everything good except for sea food. Absolutely no taste. Tasted like it had been soaking in water for 2 days.
The drinks were very slow coming out, but the food was fantastic I had originally reserved in the dining room and they called to ask us to move to the lounge instead which would have worked out great except when we arrived we were back in restaurant side the Oilers were playing and we wanted to watch :/ (I did mention that when she asked us to switch )not a huge deal but we always sit in the lounge when we come to get away from kids .
The Sawmill never disappoints
Love the food and service
Will be back
We always have a great experience at the Sawmill. The people are wonderful and the food was delicious!!! Always a great place to celebrate our anniversary.
My husband and I went there for our 10th wedding anniversary which happens to also be New Years Eve. It was a lovely night. Nice meal, great service, and overall great experience. It was our first time eating there.
Great prime rib
