   The spacing arrangements were very reassuring, and we had a nice quiet table at the back off the "beaten track". Our reservation was for 5:30 so it wasn't too busy at that time. Our server Gabriel, was very affable, efficient and effective: he got all of our requests to us correctly and in a timely manner. Our food was hot and delicious! The one area that I would have requested to be different, was the lighting which was dim; presumably this is to create an atmosphere of intimacy and romance, but for those of us not dining with that in mind, there was no enhancement of our experience!

   The service was excellent and table just right. The COVID rules were respected. My beef was that the steak was tough. Too bad and unexpected for a steak place. I told the waitress- hopefully the kitchen got my feedback so to correct the situation for future guests.

   Went for Father’s Day with husband parents and two kids. Sat outside on the patio which was nice. Fighter ordered a burger with just cheese no veggies no condiments. When i I our order came only received the three steaks and than 10 minutes later the two burgers came out. Daughter burger has some kind of sauce on it. When server came back I asked to have a new one. She than said well it’s only mayo don’t you want to try it and see if you like it? We ask for her burger that way for a reason, we don’t need to try and make her eat it if that’s not what she asked for. The server took it back than we waited another 20 minutes for her burger to come back out once everyone else had finished eating.

   The service was wonderful!! The waiter was friendly and extremely helpful. Enjoyed the evening.

   It is a great place to go if you want to catch up with a friend. The staff are helpful without being interfering or annoying. The ambience is quiet so you can actually have a nice conversation. They do not rush you out so you can sit and enjoy an evening out.

   I had the salmon with prawns and rice in a cream garlic sauce which was excellent. My wife had the cobb salad which was also okay but the greens appeared to be a little bit dated. Service was great at a reasonable price.

   Was disappointed. I ordered strip loin got sirloin. Ordered it medium rare and it came medium. No baked or twice baked potatoes. For the price not that great I have come to this sawmill numerous times and it has always been good.

   I made a reservation about a week & a half ago when they showed up on groupon again. I got a confirmation email yesterday, asking me to confirm my reservation for today, which I did. When we arrived at the restaurant today, it was closed & locked.

    I found a hair in the whipped butter my chicken cordon blue was so dry and there was no cheese in it. The rib and steak order was not very appealing. The server only came by twice once to take the order and then to bring it out. So i couldn't really communicate anything when no ones around. Im very disappointed. Ive never had a bad meal there until now and unfortunately thus woukd discourage me from going back.
