Menu item I particularly went for (crawfish hush puppies) not available. Major disappointment. Food I was served was delicious but not what I ordered (fried catfish appetizer turned into whole fish entree at higher price point). Friendly staff, comfortable seating, great wine. I’d like to go back but a little skeptical

The menu and information/ events posted on their website is FALSE or completely outdated and therefore NOT what you'll actually "experience" as a patron. And don't waste your time trying to call to get information from them prior to your visit. Calling the number provided is completely useless. I tried 6x over two days! They never answer, return calls Nor do they respond to emailed inquiries (which I tried as well). My group and I went for a birthday dinner. We hoped to enjoy certain menu items because we saw them on the website but when we got to the restaurant NONE of those items were available. We also thought we'd enjoy a live Jazz music session or at best some sort of entertainment/music (as was posted on their website) but when we got there and inquired, we were informed that they hadn't offered entertainment in MONTHS. Seems to me like that should've been sufficient time to update the website. Perhaps, the false advertisement is intentional and designed to "hook & bait" you. Not sure. It was also very cold in there, which made for an uncomfortable dining experience on top of everything else. There were two small personal heaters oscillating to provide heat for a HUGE space. The group at a table not far from ours ended up having to turn one of the 2 heaters directly onto them because [like us] they felt no heat when it was in oscillating mode. I really wish I had a better experience and better things to say because 'aesthetically' the restaurant is very nice. Unfortunately they need to work on their management and everything else. Based on what we saw on the website we were all very excited about going here. The food, the ambiance and the entertainment all seemed so attractive. Unfortunately they fell very short.

Really hip vibe, good ambiance, great music. Food was delicious, especially for the price. went there on a date night and loved it. We can't wait to go back and try more of the dishes. We were also there early in the evening, so at some point we want to come back later in the evening when things have gotten going.

I wanted to give this place a try. I have seen mixed reviews - one site rated Savvor 4.4/5 so I decided to give it a try. I made 7:15 reservations. Here are my thoughts: Establishment: 0/5 The place is raggedy. It was hard to find the entrance and when we did we were questioning our decision to dine here. Going through the shabby hallway and past the outdated coat check (abandoned), it looks like a lounge with only two couches (and there were about two people in that area). Lighting was dim in that section but when we were escorted to our table around the corner, it looked like the white light from an insane asylum. The table was small and unstable. I asked if the heat could be turned up and was told it takes awhile. For a place that opens at 5 pm, it should be warm by 7:15 pm. I wore my coat the whole time at dinner. Service: 1/5 Our waitress was pleasant but very hard to find despite only having two tables to wait on. The food also took FOREVER which I will note my suspicions below. Food: 0/5 We ordered the mac and cheese dreaming of a breaded top and more of casserole style mac. It seamed stove top with no flavor and then baked for a minute. Plantains which were cut more like a flat banana instead of round circles. Not sure if the fried and baked but the plantains had no flavor and were over cooked and tough to eat. Green - I didn't even taste these because my friend who ate them was disgusted and only had a bite. My meal was the steak frites medium rare. I was looking forward to the $20+ steak. I think the reason why our food took so long is that the old meat was frozen and partially cooked before they cooked it. It came out grey with no red or pink, already cut (I haven't had steak frites pre-cut before) and parts of it were cold. Waitress offered us free "day old Valentine's day dessert" but we gladly declined day-old cupcakes/ strawberries infused w Hennessy and Ciroq would be a health hazard. Price 0/5 We should be paid to eat there.

We chose this restaurant to support black owned business on valentines day. Sadly, we were really disappointed. Here's what happened: The room we were seated in was freezing. They had a small space heater to try to help, but it was completely inadequate. It was terribly uncomfortable. If they don't have heat, they should no sit people in that semi private space in January-- it was 10 degrees outside and close to the same inside. We had to leave our table to ask for wait staff to service us 2times before anyone came over. They did not advertise the pre-fix menu on open table, another reason we chose the venue, yet when we arrived that was all that was available and it was $50 per person -- not a bad price point, but it should have been advertised. The waitress had limited knowledge of the food selections, for example she thought the fish was tilapia and it was haddock. She did not seem to understand the difference between white and dark meat chicken. The waffles of the chicken and waffle dish were cold and hard. The appetizers were cold, the main dishes were cold and the stuffed fish dish had several unidentifiable seafood ingredients all of which seemed frozen, not fresh The wait staff were pleasant, but they just didn't have a sense of urgency relative to customer service. The aesthetics of the venue need major upgrades: e.g., paint job (lots of chipped paint on walls and large patches of what appear to be plaster), renovated bathroom the semi private room needs heat. I hope the ownership receives this feedback in the spirit in which it is given: to help them improve and increase their customer base -- if that's of interest to them.

No one was there. Mysteriously closed. Nothing mentioned on the restaurant’s website, never answered the phone, no note on the door. Just closed w/ no one there.

A bit empty for weekend dinner and service a bit slower than other places, but the food was great!
