Great brunch spot on the weekend! Service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Beautiful location inside the Westin hotel at The king and queen towers.
they were not prepared for us even with a reservation, service was incredibly slow and they were not busy and while the food was good, it wasn't worth everything else.
I called 3 times to go over my horrific visit with the GM of the hotel but he does not seem to ever be available.
We had a great biz Happy Hour at a private room.
Perfect spot for a quick meal and my book for business travel.
Good food and service. Enjoyed the ambiance. That's all I have to say.
I made a reservation for 5 and when we arrived there was nobody near the front to seat us so we ended up having to flag down a bartender and they said to just sit wherever. (Keep in mind the restaurant was not busy at all, maybe 4 tables were full) Once we were seated it took 30 minutes for someone to come over and acknowledge that we were there then took another 15 to get water. After we were able to order our food, we sat there for over an hour waiting without our server ever coming to fill up our waters or to inform us that our food was going to take a while. We waited a total of an hour and a half after ordering our food then ended up just leaving because of the horrible service.
Wouldn’t recommend going there. Very unorganized and terrible customer service.
We didn’t realize Savor was in the Westin hotel and had trouble finding. I called several times and no one answered the phone. We had a lunch reservation and when we arrived there was no one up front to help us. The restaurant seemed understaffed and they weren’t that busy which makes me question why they don’t answer the phone. Walked past the bar and there was a bar tender dressed below the standard I would expect. He was on the phone talking loud and cleaning behind the bar. This should be done prior to the bar opening. Finally a man in a suite coat made us feel welcome and seated us. The food was pretty good. My wife had a grilled cheese and the cheese was not melted. Ambiance was plain and dated. I believe Savor would be a good place to have a drink and eat by the water when the weather is cooperative. Not a place I would frequent.
Foods were ok. Environment was quite. Server never show after deliver the foods.
Reserved Savor to celebrate my hubby's birthday dinner. We were unundated with fruit flies and other flying bugs. Our drinks were good until the bugs landed in them. Food was cold, grits were under-cooked and bugs swarmed on all of it. The manager apologized, but gave us a canned response. Not a happy experience.
The view is awesome. Ambiance is sweet. But the blackened snapper? To die for. May go back just for that.
If the one employee wasn't playing four roles, I'm sure the experience would have been better. I wasnt impressed enough to come back.
At first it was hard to locate within the hotel. No signage showed the direction to it. They were a little disorganized in getting us settled into our seating and I had to ask if we could eat outside which is what I had asked for in my reservation. We got seated outside with our beers and one of us had to go back inside to get someone to come serve us after waiting 15 mins. I guess they assumed since we started a tab inside that we were just drinking and no one came out to see us at our outside table. Once they found out we were eating the service was great.
The food presented really well and was as tasty as it looked. Our server was visiting at perfectly timed intervals to check on us which let us have great conversation without constant interruptions. She was just the right amount of friendly and talkative I rate her a 5 out of 5. I do get the feeling if we wanted more attention she would have given it to us. Great on her to be so intuitive.
We were seated outside next to the small lake and it was somewhat secluded and with a great view of the property and the lake. The noise level was fantastic and we were able to conduct a great conversation because of it. Walking through the inside to get to the outside it was not as quiet due to the many patrons.
They cancelled my Open Table reservation but that was my fault as it was my first time using Open Table and I didn't identify myself when I came in. I assume you don't need a reservation there and would only need to identify yourself if you have an Open Table reservation. I will not forget to do that in the future.
We ate a Chicken Caesar Salad, excellent portion size, "not too large, not too small", a Mozzarella appetizer, Salmon and a soup and sandwich. All the food was plated well and presented well.
All in all a great place to come with a small group and a great place if you wanted to have some intimate dining inside.
It took over 10 minutes for our server to come and greet us. This was after I even told the manager and a server nearby we have been waiting. 2 orders were Incorrect but we didn’t say anything due to us being very hungry and not having to wait again.
Always love the view and great service. Great spot for a business lunch with a variety of options on the menu.
Restaurant is located in the Westin.... food was okay... but not memorable. Service was subpar & prices didnt reflect either. Of our group of 5 no one was happy with their food... and brunch is one of the easiest menus to execute. Its a definite "Avoid" forus when visiting... even when staying @ this hotel, we eat elsewhere
First, the service staff was friendly and nice. However, rest of the experience was pretty weak. Kitchen wasn't really staffed for the lunch crowd and we waited a long time for food. However, it looked like room service carts were getting dispatched at the expense of those of us waiting in the restaurant. I had the fish tacos an they came out luke warm. My diet coke was good though. From a value perspective, it's a hotel so $22 for two tacos was not unexpected but not a good value.
The food was good, but it was closer to cold than hot when it arrived at our table...and the odd thing was that we didn’t have to wait very long for our food, so not sure how it got so cold in such a short time. The flavor was good. I had asked for the horseradish on the side, but it was put on my sandwich. We were time constrained, so I did not send it back for correction. The ambiance is great! If they can warm up the food and take more accurate notes when placing the order, it would be a great place to dine.
Good food. Great atmosphere. Service good. The only criticism I have is that it took longer than I would have expected for our meal to arrive.
Quite loud inside with music and speakers surrounding the bar. Strong menu but items need some finesse. For example Brussel sprouts weren’t fully roasted. Server could have been more attentive but was polite.
Beautiful atmosphere and good food.
Service was great! Restaurant was not busy, but food delivery was very slow. Fish and chip was not crispy as we were expecting, but very soft no crunch at all.
Went for Sunday brunch, was told that brunch ended at 11:30 (reservation was for noon). Waited until 12:30 to order a drink, ordered a pear/st. germain/champagne cocktail. Bartender came and and told me they're out of pear, would I like peach? Sure. I got peach schnapps and vodka in a martini glass. Nothing like what I ordered. The Savor salad was good, others at the table who ordered said the food was just ok but definitely overpriced. No kids menu, $10 for a bowl of noodles with some sauce. "Scenic view" is the green pond in the middle of office buildings. Don't go here.
I made a reservation for 11:30am for brunch but we were told brunch ended at Noon. This information would have been helpful at the time I booked my reservation. The food was good but the staff was clearly focused on transitioning to lunch.
Was expecting a bit more due to reviews but walked away disappointed and doubt I'll return or recommend. Nice view but the noise level was very high.
Love the view. Unique atmosphere for the middle of the city. We did lunch. Food was good and very slow to serve. Thankfully we were not in a rush and enjoyed the view so it was not an issue.
Great Mother’s Day buffet!
Wow! We visited on Mother’s Day. The buffet was excellent — delicious and a great variety. Staff (kudos to Okah) was very accommodating as we originally had planned to order off a breakfast menu but seeing the buffet made a quick change! Yum.
The food was well-prepared and the service friendly and attentive.
The place was really nice as my reserved seat was next to the window overlooking the lake and fountain. I enjoyed the quiet dinning. The soup and salad was tasty. The one thing I did not like was that the menu online was not the one I was given. The menu I was given was short and there wasn’t much on it I wanted. However the online menu did. All in all the restaurant and service was nice.
Had dinner during the aftermath of the snowstorm so there was not enough food for their normal menu because the delivery truck could not get there. But the crab soup was amazing and the fried chicken we should have shared.
Typical OpenTable experience-the hostess had absolutely no clue how to confirm a reservation and no manager in sight.
The restaurant was sitting empty. What a surprise. I told some guys on the elevator not to eat here and they said they knew; they were going off property-a typical problem for on-site restaurants and compounded by clueless hostesses.
I left and will do all I can not to stay at this property again, a Westin merging in to Marriott but definitely not a Marriott-level operation. Westin Atlanta Perimeter North.
Awful restaurant. I don't ever say that, but this restaurant deserves the criticism. Save your money & find another restaurant.
Great lication on a lake. Almost empty on a Friday night. Might be good outside on the patio
One of the very best hotel dining rooms in the City. Rated in the top 40 restaurants in Atlanta. A destination restaurant. Chef Paul Harris is a "gem" An outstanding chef whose skills and execution do not receive the recognition they deserve!
Great food and service. Had the Thai Salad and substituted the short ribs with salmon...the BOMB!
Busy night on a Saturday, but very good service and great food. Enjoyed the view of the pond and had a very nice meal.
The Staff is attentive and the food is delicious. They offer great selections for breakfast.
We had a convention and a lot of people were eating at Savor. Unfortunately, the night we were there, there was only one server. The hotel knew we were going to be there and were keeping the restaurant only late for us. Apparently, one of the servers called out, therefore, only one server. I believe the hotel should have had more than two servers planned for the evening to begin with. We ordered almost immediately after sitting down and the appetizers arrived quickly. The meal; however, took almost an hour to get to us. The cauliflower was cold and we sent it back. When it came back, the cheese on top was congealed and burnt and inedible. The steak, scallops and pork chop were good but the lamb was dry and not good at all. I don't blame the server; he did the best he could but it was poor planning on the hotel's part. Also, when we arrived, there was no one at the hostess stand. We waited about 10 minutes and finally walked past the bar to the restaurant and got someone to seat us. They did have our reservation and we were seated at a nice table. The food was way overpriced. They have a bar menu, with lesser priced items, like burgers but we were not offered that menu. I won't go back.
We loved the food here. The mussels were delicious, the scallops were perfectly seared and cooked, and the service was great! It is pricey, but we knew that going in.
