Good food. Great atmosphere. Service good. The only criticism I have is that it took longer than I would have expected for our meal to arrive.
Quite loud inside with music and speakers surrounding the bar. Strong menu but items need some finesse. For example Brussel sprouts weren’t fully roasted. Server could have been more attentive but was polite.
Beautiful atmosphere and good food.
Service was great! Restaurant was not busy, but food delivery was very slow. Fish and chip was not crispy as we were expecting, but very soft no crunch at all.
Went for Sunday brunch, was told that brunch ended at 11:30 (reservation was for noon). Waited until 12:30 to order a drink, ordered a pear/st. germain/champagne cocktail. Bartender came and and told me they're out of pear, would I like peach? Sure. I got peach schnapps and vodka in a martini glass. Nothing like what I ordered. The Savor salad was good, others at the table who ordered said the food was just ok but definitely overpriced. No kids menu, $10 for a bowl of noodles with some sauce. "Scenic view" is the green pond in the middle of office buildings. Don't go here.
I made a reservation for 11:30am for brunch but we were told brunch ended at Noon. This information would have been helpful at the time I booked my reservation. The food was good but the staff was clearly focused on transitioning to lunch.
Was expecting a bit more due to reviews but walked away disappointed and doubt I'll return or recommend. Nice view but the noise level was very high.
Love the view. Unique atmosphere for the middle of the city. We did lunch. Food was good and very slow to serve. Thankfully we were not in a rush and enjoyed the view so it was not an issue.
Great Mother’s Day buffet!
Wow! We visited on Mother’s Day. The buffet was excellent — delicious and a great variety. Staff (kudos to Okah) was very accommodating as we originally had planned to order off a breakfast menu but seeing the buffet made a quick change! Yum.
The food was well-prepared and the service friendly and attentive.
The place was really nice as my reserved seat was next to the window overlooking the lake and fountain. I enjoyed the quiet dinning. The soup and salad was tasty. The one thing I did not like was that the menu online was not the one I was given. The menu I was given was short and there wasn’t much on it I wanted. However the online menu did. All in all the restaurant and service was nice.
Had dinner during the aftermath of the snowstorm so there was not enough food for their normal menu because the delivery truck could not get there. But the crab soup was amazing and the fried chicken we should have shared.
Typical OpenTable experience-the hostess had absolutely no clue how to confirm a reservation and no manager in sight.
The restaurant was sitting empty. What a surprise. I told some guys on the elevator not to eat here and they said they knew; they were going off property-a typical problem for on-site restaurants and compounded by clueless hostesses.
I left and will do all I can not to stay at this property again, a Westin merging in to Marriott but definitely not a Marriott-level operation. Westin Atlanta Perimeter North.
Awful restaurant. I don't ever say that, but this restaurant deserves the criticism. Save your money & find another restaurant.
Great lication on a lake. Almost empty on a Friday night. Might be good outside on the patio
One of the very best hotel dining rooms in the City. Rated in the top 40 restaurants in Atlanta. A destination restaurant. Chef Paul Harris is a "gem" An outstanding chef whose skills and execution do not receive the recognition they deserve!
Great food and service. Had the Thai Salad and substituted the short ribs with salmon...the BOMB!
Busy night on a Saturday, but very good service and great food. Enjoyed the view of the pond and had a very nice meal.
The Staff is attentive and the food is delicious. They offer great selections for breakfast.
We had a convention and a lot of people were eating at Savor. Unfortunately, the night we were there, there was only one server. The hotel knew we were going to be there and were keeping the restaurant only late for us. Apparently, one of the servers called out, therefore, only one server. I believe the hotel should have had more than two servers planned for the evening to begin with. We ordered almost immediately after sitting down and the appetizers arrived quickly. The meal; however, took almost an hour to get to us. The cauliflower was cold and we sent it back. When it came back, the cheese on top was congealed and burnt and inedible. The steak, scallops and pork chop were good but the lamb was dry and not good at all. I don't blame the server; he did the best he could but it was poor planning on the hotel's part. Also, when we arrived, there was no one at the hostess stand. We waited about 10 minutes and finally walked past the bar to the restaurant and got someone to seat us. They did have our reservation and we were seated at a nice table. The food was way overpriced. They have a bar menu, with lesser priced items, like burgers but we were not offered that menu. I won't go back.
We loved the food here. The mussels were delicious, the scallops were perfectly seared and cooked, and the service was great! It is pricey, but we knew that going in.
Our server and the chef were PHENOMENAL! They were both very attentive and wanted to Ensure we were accommodated and pleased with our meals and visit. I would CERTAINLY visit again!
I've been to Savor Bar & Kitchen several times because I enjoy returning. It always delivers....
The atmosphere was perfect and the staff very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely go back!
Made a reservation on Open Table and requested to be seated outdoors and for a dessert to come with a birthday candle. Neither happened. There was a corporate event happening on their patio along with a DJ. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere. The chairs and table were very comfortable as was the atmosphere. The food was decent but nothing was memorable enough to motivate me to return to order the same dish again. We ate the pot pie, the pasta dish, the fried chicken and had an appetizer of muscles and that was the most disappointing. The garlic bread was very nice but the broth was not flavorful enough. My Sangria was tasty though, the service was very good, and it's a lovely setting.
The service was amazing! The staff was very friendly, caring, and consistant in our every need! I will definitely be back!!!! See u guy's sooon and thanks again for a Beautiful evening and experience! You guy's ROCK! Hug my waitress for me she was a sweetheart! But i forgot her name but remember her being from Bulgaria with a beautiful accent! Thanks!
Great breakfast location. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Below average. Terrible service when no one was even there. Told the manager and he tried to help but has much to learn about customer service or getting some one to return. I will not be back.
Great food. Service was great and personable. The new chef was superb. Try the crayfish binets, scallops, she crab soup, pecan crusted tuna were delicious.
Savor's food was very good but for a date night, there are much better places to go. I try and steer clear of hotel restaurants but giving it the benefit of the doubt, we went. There was only one other group of people in the restaurant for a 7:30 dinner reservation. I'm assuming they were hotel patrons. The wait staff was very attentive for this reason though which was nice. They gave us a more expensive bottle of wine as the one we had picked out was sold out. There was zero ambiance unless you like that "hotel free breakfast feel". I don't think I'll say I'll never go back but probably not for a non-business type function.
I order a salmon, tomato soup and my wife ordered the ravioli. All the dishes were pretty weak! I will not go back. Based on other people reviews, I believe they either lost their chef or he was not present on the day of my visit.
Reading the menu online, we were excited to try this restaurant although we were a bit skeptical given it's located inside a mid-range hotel (which isn't usually a place where one expects to find a great restaurant, although there are exceptions). Turns out it was just... unmemorable. Not great and not awful.
The quality and portion size of the food was very uneven. Chicken pot pie (delicious) was the size of a wagon wheel -- could easily have served two. (The pot pie was the highlight among the various dishes our party ordered and was the only thing we all agreed we'd want to have again.) Meanwhile the butternut squash ravioli was 6 pieces total -- I'd describe it as appetizer size. The meatloaf was only okay when eaten by itself and it didn't come with enough of the sides or the sauce to match the portion size of the meatloaf, so the last few bites were just gummy ground beef. Desserts ranged from large (carrot cake) to shot-glass-sized (banana pudding). The so-called "caramel apple" dessert was truly awful -- tasted like stale peanuts and cardboard with a dollop of whipped cream. No caramel and I wouldn't have known there were even apples in there if it hadn't been on the menu. The other desserts were all tasty so maybe it was just a bad night for whoever made the caramel apple.
Essentially it was impossible to predict what one would get just from the descriptions of the dishes on the menu. Not much of a wine list and they made no real attempt to cross-sell us anything from the nearby cocktail bar. The service was very slow but everyone was friendly; they had a holiday event going on elsewhere in the hotel so I'm sure that had an impact. Ambience is about what you'd expect from being inside a hotel -- looked like a converted banquet room with a bar plopped down in the middle.
All in all, I might eat here again if I were staying at the hotel -- assuming the pot pie was still on the menu -- but I wouldn't come here again just to eat.
Braised Lamb Shank is my very favorite dish, but the preparation here did not satisfy. I found it very bland and unseasoned. It was in no way special or memorable.
The brussel sprouts were good, however.
Was there twice last week for business meetings. Enjoyed both experiences. Food was great. Service was outstanding. I will return frequently.
We had 16 people and three tables for our group. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant. Two of the three tables got adequate service for a three course dinner. The third table had service issues all night - from drink order through dessert. Even when the manager got involved, the entrees were very slow in coming and the manager offered a range of excuses that did not soothe the diners at that table. The other two tables were done with their entrees before the third table even received theirs.
If staying at the Westin Perimeter, this is a nice and above average in-house dining option. Good food, variety on the menu, friendly staff.
I didn't know the restaurant was in a hotel when I made the reservations and if I had I probably would not have made the reservations. However, the food was surprisingly delicious and the service very attentive. When we were first seated the hostess warned us about live music to begin incase we wanted to move away because of the loudness level of the music. We declined but when the music began it was quite hard to follow the conversation. At the same time, workers were affixing a countertop in the restaurant with a strong smelling adhesive. We already had our drinks but asked to be moved and they were very accommodating.
The music was a nice touch but we were catching up with old friends and wanted to chat. I did think it was odd for construction work to be happening on a Friday night about 8pm.
Overall, it was a nice evening and if I wanted to meet in the same general location, I would return to this restaurant.
This was our first time and certainly our last time to dine here! It is understandable why this restaurant was close to empty. I can say this was one of the worst meals we have had to endure in Atlanta. The pecan encrusted flounder was like a failed attempt to reheat a frozen dinner. The butternut squash ravioli was horrible, like it came from a tin, and the cold white sauce on top only made it worse. My mothers salmon was probably the only edible dish. To charge these kind of outrageous prices for food that is not cooked or prepared by a chef is just upsetting. I had hoped for a nice evening dinner, but left completely let down by this choice! Very upsetting!!
Always a great lunch and great value. Savor Kitchen is very close to our office so we often go there for lunch meetings. They are very personable and quick so we can wrap up a business lunch easily in an hour.
