A really good place with a beautiful view. We had the place to ourselves for it to be just after lunch, but it worked in our favor. We were seated right away. The bowl of greens were superb!
The food was delicious and served hot, service impeccable! Had a great time! Will come again and highly recommend the place to family and friends.
Great ambience, fantastic views of the Potomac River, good service. However, a little too pricey for the type of cuisine ( food was average, even casual, but prices were for gourmet )
Excellent ambiance and good service. Food was mediocre at best and expensive.
Drinks were good, but a little pricey. Atmosphere was really nice. Nice view of the Potomac.
The service was horrible. Our food took forever to come out. When it did come, the salads weren't delivered until about 10 minutes after the meal arrived. And, the steaks were rare-rare (like still cold) vs. medium rare. We couldn't send them back as we had a concert to get to and the waiter never came back by to check. In addition, drinks weren't refilled even though the water asked one of our friends 3 times if she wanted more tea - he just forgot to bring it each time after she replied "yes". To top it off, since it was a group of 9, they automatically added a 20% tip -- of which we would not have given if we had the choice. Finally, the waiter was exasperated to have to split the check and took a VERY long time to do so.
Thank you Sauciety staff for making this a very memorable Mother's Day and Father's Day dinner for my husband and friends! I couldn't have chosen a better restaurant! Looking forward to my next visit and meal with you!!!
Food and service were excellent, but sitting next to a table with six screaming kids (and at least that many adults “supervising” them) running around the restaurant was not ideal. I felt like the staff should have taken more control in asking the numerous adults at the table to mind their children’s behavior in that setting, or maybe the restaurant should have sat that party (or all other parties) someplace where rambunctious kids wouldn’t ruin all other diners’ evenings.
A nice local lady recommended this restaurant, called it a "hidden gem" of National Harbor. It was lovely. The Loaded Tots were wonderful as was the Chicken Sandwich. Wonderful atmosphere. There were not many in there when we were but the service was great. We had not planned on this place for dinner but we are glad we stopped in!
Everything was wonderful! We went for the brunch and it did not disappoint. Fast and excellent service... food was delicious, everyone cleared their plate! Will definitely return with friends and family!
Sunday morning brunch with friends. Nice ambience, attentive wait staff. Menu slightly limited, as I expected a Sunday buffet, but everyone was happy with their choices.
The food and view were great. Unfortunately, the service was abominable! They allowed the breakfast diners to occupy choice tables near the windows well in the Brunch service. One diner occupied a table for four near the window and read the entire time and was not eating or drinking. We were lead to a table that would be in traffic when the restaurant was almost empty. When we asked to be seated in an area closer to the window we were lead to a table that had food on several chairs. When we asked that the chairs be cleaned the staff member was extremely rude and offended that he had to switch out dirty chairs for CLEAN CHAIRS! Our waiter seemed offended when I asked for straws for the water glasses because the staff member had his hands all over the rims of our glasses. The waiter bought uncovered straws (like I was going to use those straws). I asked for bottled water and hoped the heat killed whatever they might do to my food. I am not asking Merchants to genuflect for my dollar but I will not be treated as if I should be grateful the Merchant is allowing me to spend my money in their establishment while being disrespected!
Nice open indoor setting with a view of the river and the Ferris wheel. Not a wide selection but what they do offer is all excellent.
Last minute decision, but a good choice, and definitely a great value.
The service was good, but it took a while for the food to come out.
We took my mother here for Mother's Day. We had a good overall experience. The view is wonderful!
The crab cake was excellent. The crab soup had nice chunks of crab but was only Luke warm and not tasty. Trying to get a cosmopolitan from the bar was trying and I ended up with something green
Excellent food and service. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!!
What a delightful day! We weren't expecting a buffet brunch. We were disappointed! The variety was wonderful and good; the service was attentive; and the scenery was worth it. A special thank you to Joy, our warm and welcoming hostess. We will be back!
The food was excellent. The service not so much. Although, the place was empty when we arrived Saturday morning, water was not brought to the table for 15 minutes after seating. The water had a few unknown things floating around, we had to ask the waitress to bring us new glasses. Also, we ordered several sides off the menu and the waitress failed to bring one of them, she said she forgot to put it in the order. Needless to say, the item arrived long after our meal. They did not offer to take it off the check or provide a discount. The only good thing was the food that actually came on time. The view of the marina was actually very nice. I'm not sure I would return here considering all the other options in this area.
Terrific spot for a quick birthday breakfast that my pal - he later told our team is was an "EPIC HANG!" Seriously - the restaurant staff was "right on" for this one - just 2 friends grabbing breakfast, I mentioned we were having a breakfast for his birthday because the place is convenient, GREAT view and super reasonable price for coffee and a couple of PERFECT omelets. We had work to do as well - and there was nothing rushed, food perfect, service perfect - and BAM! - the staff brought out a dessert with a candle on it for him. If you are looking for an escape - this is on the bottom floor of the Westin - 1 level down from the lobby. Easy, casual - and just the feeling that you are not cramping anyone's style. National Harbor is fun and there are a ton of places - but this one is perfect to duck in to and is EASILY on par with everything else - and it costs less. A GEM.
The experience was disappointing. Shrimp has a blue tint and tasted strange, ordered a martini and got a shot in a martini glass, and the service was slow.
Met a friend for Saturday AM brunch - nice view of river, good healthy choices and very nice servers.
Service was great. Food was delicious. Great waterfront location and view.
Photo was superb. Executive Chef Shannon recipe was delicious on all foods.
Chef Shannon is amazing. The food and service were phenomenal.
The lobster Mac n cheese was excellent. The salmon was ok. Food and service overall ok
The food was EXCELLENT and the service was AWESOME! Thanks for making my husbands birthday extra special!!!!
I only really enjoyed the wine choice. The appetizer and dessert we're good but the main dish (salmon) was only ok. I was disappointed the restaurant ran out of the ribeye as well. Probably won't return as the food did not have a lot of flavor.
As usual the service and food were excellent! Excellent view of the Potomac and the Capital Wheel! The menu offers an excellent choice of delicious items - everything we ordered was presented well and tasted great!
The meal that I had was good I had the harborview breakfast and The shrimp and grits, both tastes good. The green tomatoes could use more seasoning. The tator tots were good. My niece had the pancakes and she didn't like them. Overall the food was ok.
The daily fresh donuts were terrible and fried green tomatoes were bland. The servers were awesome but I was not impressed with the food.
It was a fun new place on the water. The food was very good at brunch and my family had a great time getting together before New Years.
The food was great and our server was super nice! And since it was New Year's Eve, she let us order bottomless mimosas although it's no longer available on a regular bases.
We were celebrating my friend's 30th bday and had a great time at the bar/lounge. Great happy hour menu and excellent service.
The food is generally very good at Saucity and it’s usually a nice, quiet place to have a meal with conversation that you can hear as very few people dine here because it’s a hotel restaurant. This time, however, one of my guests had the trout and it was inedible because of the quantity of salt that was used. Had I know this prior to paying the bill, I would have let the waitress know. The waitress also was very attentive and pleasant.
I’m a Gold SPG member and I will return again.
This restaurant is always a favorite! The crab cakes, greens, and lobster Mac are so good! Friendly staff and good food!
Food mediocre, service ok
Would not recommencd., eggs were not even good, bacon not crispy
Pretty low quality service and food. No sauces—so much for the name.
Our food was delicious and the service was great! Beautiful views as well!
