Great atmosphere, quaint local neighborhood spot with a great vibe and outstanding service. The bar is where it's at! Absolutely loved the peach burrata and corn cakes. Definitely going back.
Awesome service, awesome food, great drinks! Can't wait to come back
Food is great! Service was slow Brought us (6 guests) our drinks one at a time, Then never asked us if we wanted another drink. Maybe the owner should be helping out!
Great service. Good food, not great, for the price.
My wife and I loved the ambiance. Very cool bar area. Service was excellent! My wife had the steak, which was cooked perfectly, medium rare, but was cold when it arrived at the table, her vegetables were very hot. My Salmon was perfect temp and cooked expertly. It was my wife's birthday so a very disappointing experience.
We love the staff and food is amazing!
This place is a perfect neighborhood gem. Nice bar if you want to eat at the bar and wonderful music playing. The food was absolutely delicious, the heirloom tomatoes were to die for. Our server was fantastic and the bartender made one of the best vodka martinis I have had in a very long time.
Paella Night was outstanding!! Great food, great service. Just a fun night!!! We will be back.
Excellent as always. We ended up sitting outside just because it was an amazing night with perfect temperature. Food, service... all excellent.
Dinner is always creative and fun at Satchel’s!
Great place to go for a casual dinner, but get a great meal at the same time. People are the best in town.
Great restaurant and ambiance. A little loud for foursomes or date night. Food was great!
Small and comfortable place, with delicious food and a chill vibe. The entire experience was wonderful.
I made a reservation for 4 at 6pm on a Friday night. We were dining with another couple and we all arrived on time. They were already seated with drinks and we joined them at a table in the front near the window. Our waitress , very pleasant , came by and asked if we wanted something to drink. We asked for a minute to look over the drink menu. She stepped away and then another gentleman came up to the table with an iPad and started talking to us. I thought perhaps he was the waiter. However without introducing himself he proceeded to tell me that he had a reservation for a table of 6 at 7:30 and that basically we needed to be done and gone by then. It was absolutely the rudest thing I have ever experienced in a restaurant let alone one that considers itself a fine dining experience. I asked if he would like us to leave now and he looked clueless. If we had not been with friends I would certainly have left. I grew up waiting tables and understand the need to turn them, but to tell a diner before they even order that they need to leave in 90 minutes is incredible. Our waitress was great and apologized and tried to make the best of the evening and she did a good job. However the man (whom I assume was a manager) set the tone for the evening and nearly ruined it. I made a reservation on open table and secured a time for four that was listed as available. There was no note that said since it was Friday night I would need to be done at 7:20 so they could seat another table. If so I certainly would never have booked the table. If they have this policy they need to advertise it. Again this is the most incredibly rude thing that has ever happened to me in a nice restaurant , and while the food was good and the place cute, I somehow feel a $300 bill for a group of 4 deserves more than a 90 minute time frame. And just for the owners information dining at our own pace we finished sat 7:40 so they created as issue where none had needed to exist.
Fun vibe and great food.
Near us & hadn’t been for awhile, but good as always!
Great food and ambience. I would recommend for a small group gathering.
Fantastic as always.
Satchel's is a neighborhood gem. I am so glad we popped in after just driving by two years ago. The food never disappoints, the menu is always changing with the seasons, and the staff is beyond amazing! We can always count on a wonderful evening when we make a reservation at Satchel's. We can't recommend it enough. Might I also say that the squash blossoms that we ordered last visit were wonderful, I highly recommend getting them.
The food was great. Love the quaint atmosphere. Will be back soon.
The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. We wanted to, but did not think it appropriate to, lick the plate.
My fiancee and I went to Satchel's to celebrate a milestone birthday. We had never been before. When we made the reservation, we alerted them to dietary restrictions (we both have celiac disease). They called and left a message outlining their food options for us, and it was clear they understood our needs and would be able to provide a gluten-free meal.
We were there for a special menu Sunday. We ordered shared plates of short ribs, asparagus, heirloom tomatoes and a potato salad. All were delicious (and "fancier" than they sound here)! Service was excellent, the music was perfect, the ambiance charming. We would go again!
Our favorite place to eat in all of Denver. We keep coming back for more.
I've been historically thrilled but seems they no longer have the same chef and it showed. Waiter was distracted not very warm, or attentive. I should not feel like an annoying afterthought. Too pricey for the portions without knocking it out of the park. I'll try again, but it will be awhile. I understand restaurants have transitions and growing pains.
Neighborhood gem, cozy, lively little oasis. Outstanding food and knowledgeable friendly service, fantastic cocktails, especially the ‘reporter’s deadline’. Fresh innovative appetizers, the flatbread was exceptional. Wonderful sea bass, so well prepared. Great vibe, highly recommend.
Loved loved this place! The ambience was magical and everything we ate so amazing!!! Great great local spot!
We had a wonderful experience! My one caveat was that my burger was rare when I ordered medium. My husband ate it for me. The rest of our 6 meals were outstanding. Our server (Liz? Lynn?) Was wonderful. She checked with the kitchen and dealt with our gluten free/celiac needs.
Great as usual! Love this place!
I am gluten free and my friend was watching carbs. They accommodated both of us with smiles and gratitude for us being there. Loved it!
Love this neighborhood gem! Friendly and astute staff, fun crowd, and of course, great food and drink.
Satchel’s never disappoints. It is such a cozy neighborhood restaurant, but has the freshest, farm-to-table, beautiful food, and lovely cocktails. We went on Sunday, and shared a variety of the family-style plates — all were amazing. We are always excited to go back for another meal!
We couldn’t love it more!!!
The food is innovative, beautiful to look at, and of course tastes great!
The service is always friendly and efficient. What more could we want!!!
Enjoyed our food and a very friendly waitress. She knew a lot about the menu and offered great service without hovering.
A true neighborhood bar/restaurant. A wonderful spot to gather. The menu needs working, with more substantial dishes offered for slightly less. Overall, it's a great place with a terrific staff.
We were there to celebrate a family success and certainly the great atmosphere, service and delicious food helped make our celebration much sweeter and enjoyable.
This is a great neighborhood restaurant. I would recommend this establishment to those that want an intimate dinner with a very friendly staff and a nice ambiance
Very lovely time spent here with an old friend. As usual in today’s world noise level rose too high but otherwise very congenial
We chose Satchels for a graduation celebration dinner, and it was perfect — from the appetizers to the main meal to the desserts. I especially appreciated the small size but intense flavor of the dessert — so I didn't leave with that overstuffed feeling. Our only recommendation for change came from the vegetarian in the group, who would like for restaurants in general to offer at least two vegetarian choices so that the choice of dinners is not already made for him.
Oh my gosh! What a wonderful surprise. I was in town for work and looked on OpenTable and found this gem. Small with a funky young French feel. A turntable with lots of old records everywhere. My mocktail (mint lemonade) was amazing!! I'll be back.
Such an amazing restaurant! We enjoyed every dish!
