SASSI Ratings and Reviews
We went to Sassi's to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. We were given a private room with a fireplace. The room was beautiful - and we felt very well taken care of by all of the staff. The food was amazing. We are just sad that we will not be able to celebrate my milestone birthdays at Sassi's - unless we rent the whole space. :)
Beautiful outdoor setting near Pinnacle Peak. Overall the food was very good and the presentation was fine. The menu was somewhat restricted as to choices of entrées. Not many traditional Italian dishes. Wine selections were good with reasonable prices. One person in party ordered snapper that arrived not warm throughout. Overall a good experience with fine service.
Phenomenal food, service and venue. We had an incredible time celebrating our engagement night. The view of the sunset, mountains and desert-sky is pretty tough to match elsewhere. Every table was full but the privacy was great and we felt like the only 2 in the building. Can't believe this is being sold!
The setting was nice, but the menu and food was too unique for us. We shared the pork chop, which they recommended as the best we would ever taste, and while it was good, it was nowhere close to the best we have ever had. Overall, the ambiance was nice, but far too expensive for food that was too "special" and food selections that did not even sound appetizing.
Both the food and service we're outstanding; it was a bit difficult to find the location and the rest was a wedding party using the entry courtyard, which was Abit confusing. BUT, once we got into Sassi, the experience was wonderful. We dined early, and we're pleased with the quiet window side table. The food was amazing; we shared an antipasto, shared a pasta primi, then had our own entree's. Everything was fantastic.
This is a most beautiful resteraunt with kind and attentive staff from the front desk to the servers. Prompt service and very helpful in understanding the menu. Food beautifully prepped hot and superb taste. Wine list excellent and reasonable. A pity it will be all over in May. What a loss of such fine staff from the kitchen and outward.
Very delicious appetizers and entrees. It was our guest birthday. They treated her to two fabulous cannoli with Buon Cumpleanos written on plate in chocolate ! Courteous and professional servers. We are very sad they will be closing permanently anfter 15 years !!!
This was by far the best Italian food I have ever had at a restaurant! A great wine list Spectacular views outside cozy and romantic dining inside. We were told they are closing at the end of May. What a shame! We are from Wisconsin and are definitely considering flying back out for a weekend just to eat there again before they close.
We love Sassi and can't believe that you soon will not be with us. We had our 50th wedding anniversary celebration at Sassi and went back a few nights ago with family to celebrate 53. The facility and the menu are wonderful and will be missed . We will return at least one more time before you depart. Thanks for the memories! Don
