As always, Sassafras delivered a great dining experience. The main dining room is well spaced to reduce the noise levels and allow for enjoy conversations and relaxed dining. The service staff were attentive in spite of the fact the restaurant was packed. The food was delicious and warm. I would indeed return. The only slight disappointment was the flourless chocolate dessert which was heavy with no colour contrast (eg raspberry coulis).

Went a on wim as in neighbourhood - had Winterlicious menu. Allergies, food sensitivities clearly identified make ordering easy. Everything was well prepared.

We had a wonderful experience at Sassafraz to celebrate my mom's brithday! Their Winterlicious menu options have significantly improve and I am happy they have changed the options as they were quite repetitive the last few times. Our server, James, gave great suggestions and was very kind. He was busy with a large group so he didn't check up on us too often and we had to get his attention ourselves. I had to ask someone else to bring me lemon wedges, because he forgot despite me asking twice. Not a big deal though as he was very kind overall and just very busy! He was kind enough to bring my mom a little treat for her birthday which was lovely! That same large group was incredibly loud, but that is not the restaurant's fault. We found ourselves almost yelling, since they were so loud! Other than that, it was a great experience and would go back!

Thoroughly enjoyed here. Good food and service. However, there was a large table behind us that was extremely loud. It was to a point that I had never seen before at a fine dining restaurant and it made it VERY difficult to converse with my friends that I dined with. I didn’t want to complain but I honestly should have. We were hoping they would leave before us as they had been sitting there when we got there but they stayed even after we left.

I've come here for drinks and snacks before but returned for Winterlicious. Delicious food - extra shoutout to the Muskovy Duck for excellent preparation. Their dining room is absolutely beautiful with the atrium, waterfall and tropical plants.

Wonderful evening enjoyed by me and my daughter. I love the decor of this restaurant! We had a corner window seat looking out onto Cumberland with the twinkling Holiday lights in view---just beautiful. The food was amazing with fresh ingredients and the service was excellent.
