Best pasta in town! This is my go-to for a wonderful carb-loading dinner the night before any long race.
There are too many good Italian places that has better service. Food was very good however
Small plates cost a lot. Service wasn’t that great
Had been to the restaurant before and loved it and recommended it. We were shocked that they have gone to small/sharable plates. Because we had been there before, I didn't look at the menu nor did I read the reviews. That was my mistake. As far as recommending it to a friend, I would tell them that the food was very good (what there was of it in each order) but if they don't like the small/several plate idea, not for you.
Food service atmosphere all outstanding. Looking forward to outdoor dining there this summer.
We ate there Saturday evening. The food quality and service were outstanding. However, two of us ordered the steelhead trout and were very disappointed with the size of the fish portion. It was very small, probably 3-4 ounces max.
Had a wonderful brunch. Interesting menu choices and the food was delicious. Seven of us had multiple brunch options and we all raves about our meals.
Our server Cory was absolutely fantastic
Came to celebrate Easter, took an hour and half from time seated until served food. I’m a bit upset because I have sartos reserved for a special party on Mother’s Day and what happened today can’t happen again.
We had a great breakfast but service was very slow. It was Easter Sunday so I figured it would be very busy but I wish our waiter would have done a better job of letting us know they were running slow or that our food would be taking quite a bit longer. I noticed the tables near us were having a similar issue. Despite that, I had the burrata and an arugala salad and it was very good. The Mexican cocktail with the mezcal and fernet was actually quite fabulous. Sartos is a little pricey for the quality of the food but it's clear that they have invested a lot into the design and ambiance of the restaurant.
We celebrated Easter Brunch at Sarto’s and it was wonderful! The food, service and ambiance could not have been better. The place has a great vibe and if you’re lucky enough to meet the owner, he was the icing on the cake.
We had a great birthday dinner at Sarto's.
It is a bright, stylish spot.
The food is not the traditional Italian and is a bit different, but we really liked everything.
The service was great, but it was not a fast/quick meal, which was fine for what we were after.
The waiter Will was amazing in all of his recommendations! Definitely get the gnocchi tots for an appetizer, they are amazing!!
Sarto's is a wonderful neighborhood Italian restaurant, perfect for a date night, food is spectacular and just great ambiance. I love this place and cant wait to return!
Always a great experience. Service is excellent and the food is never a disappointment. Best affogato in town! Love this little local spot.
Really amazing food. Definitely would order more than one pasta dish if you're hungry. The manager ensured everything was great for my sister's birthday. Nothing free, but they made it a special experience. Thank you!
Exciting and innovative dishes. The combinations are surprising and delicious. Delicious wine list. As we chatted and enjoyed our way through all courses we never felt rushed. Will definitely come back!
I enjoyed the food very much, but the atmosphere was rather snooty. I also felt like the there could have been more food on the plates, especially for the price.
We had a reservation, but when we got there we were seated in the very back of the back room, and were virtually alone in that room for the evening (one other couple were seated shortly before we left). The front of the restaurant was full and bustling and felt like it would be a nice place to be, but they made no effort to create any ambiance in the back room where we were by seating additional people there. After being seated, we were left sitting for about 15 minutes before anyone came by to take a drink order. There was no effort to explain the menu to us, or how they recommend ordering (are they all small plates? Suitable for sharing? What is the fish of the day?, etc.), only a general "do you have any questions?". After taking our drink order the waiter came back and had to confirm the order -- then got it wrong when he delivered the drinks. The food was very good, but the overall experience was poor, and there are other good restaurants where one can have both a good experience and good food for the palate. I would not recommend.
Great experience and food!
Service, food and wine was amazing! A true hidden gem!
Everything was wonderful, and our guests were super impressed! We’ll be back!
The atmosphere is great. Valerie and the server were great. All 6 of us thought the food was average and a disappointment from our first visit. Our first visit was for Valentine’s Day and every item was delicious and flavorful. The menu was hard to read it should be a larger font and darker.
We had one of our favorite dining experiences at Sarto's. The food was excellent, the servers were kind, informative and made us feel like family. Our dinner included prosecco, wine, appetizers, main courses and a custom order dessert that we called in a week ahead of time since it was a special occasion. Everyone at Sarto's made the night extra special for us. We couldn't be happier with our experience and will be back time and time again!
Service was aweful. Our waiter was more concerned about the larger table next to us. He never even introduced himself or explained the menu. He seemed very rushed and uninterested in our table. We waited an hour for our entree and he had to ask us several times what we ordered both for food and drink. Won’t be going back unfortunately.
The food was exquisite and wine selection excellent. We love this restaurant as it has a great ambience and wonderful location.
Fun great experience at the counter with Shelbi. Everything was delish and on point.
We ate at Sarto's during Restaurant Wee , there were 4 of us and it was a snowy day so consequently a pretty slow night for our first time visit. Liked that it was not noisy like so many restaurants these days! We like to try new places during Restaurant Week and the reviews were good online and I felt the parking would be easier in this part of town. I thought the selections for the special menu could have been better and they were not as people pleasing as they could have been. Unusual ingredients in a couple of the choices and the gnocchi in one of the main entrees was undercooked and tough. I would have sent it back but my husband does not like to do that. The osso bucco was very good. Appetizer of cherry and buffalo mozzarella did not meet our expectations. Salads/first course was ok. Great service and beautifully constructed restaurant in an interesting part of the Highlands I had not seen before. They need to work on their menu and execution. Will probably not return.
The place has a great atmosphere. The two starters were great. We had the octopus and the burrata. The octopus dish had great taste, and most important the octopus was cooked right; texture was firm, tender and not too chewy. The entrées were not that great as we expected. We ordered the beef ragú pappardelle and the pork. The pappardelle was over cooked and the sauce was kind of heavy. I was expecting the sauce to be made with tomatoes, but it was more like a beef broth. Pork was good but not impressive. They also charged us more for the wine we ordered. Overall the place is okay
Food was good, and bit of a departure from the typical Italian. Enough room between tables, unlike some restaurants. Background "music" was not an interference, unlike too many places these days. Server was knowledgeable and helpful. Manager greeted us on arrival, and hostess checked on us several times. Noise level high due to high ceilings. Wine prices a bit high. Street parking limited.
Great atmosphere, delicious food. Great service.
Waitress was very attentive. Restaurant was clean and decorated nicely
I love sitting at the bar. The bartenders are awesome!
Food was great.
Service a bit slow.
Ambience is nice.
I eat here so often and don't want to repeat myself but this is one true neighborhood gem!!
Overall good neighborhood spot. Lively and fun atmosphere. My date commented her beet salad was one of the best salads she's ever had. Downside, menu is limited, some of the dishes lacked flavor and were bland (risotto and gnocchi), over- priced cocktails and also for the level of cuisine which was decent but not at all spectacular. You're paying for the atmosphere. Do recommend if price is not an issue.
We went for restaurant week, but we’ll definitely be back. All of the wait staff were kind and engaging, our food was outstanding. Can’t wait for our next meal at Sarto’s!
We love the white/gray chic space. We dined on a cold, snowy Sunday night and enjoyed the quiet restaurant. Spectacular service. My husband loved the 1/2 chicken with risotto. I had the ragu pasta which was good but not quite what I expected. The wide chewy noodles were coated with flavor but no sauce was visible. A few strings of what be pot roast? It was tasty and VERY heavy. I certainly wouldn't order the pasta dish again. We look forward to returning again.
Went here for a birthday brunch for my wife with friends and family and everyone ordered something different. Everyone liked what they ordered, including the bottomless mimosas. Service was excellent and friendly.
The wait staff was absolutely incredible. The food was out of this world delicious, but our waitress and the host made our brunch experience truly outstanding. They were so gracious, so informed on the food, hilarious, always making sure we were happy. Delicious food, beautiful ambiance, and the best employees. We are actually going back today!
Perfect for Galentine’s Day brunch! They had our table ready to go right upon arrival and even had a special Galentine’s Day drink menu- super cute.
