Our meal experience was excellent in terms of the food. However we were very disapppointed in our service throughout the meal. The person who took our order never came back to the table to check-in to see how things were going. We were not sure who to ask to get refills on our beverages and someone completely different took our desert order and brought the check. As we only come to NY once or twice a year, we always try to make sure that we have one meal at Sardi's because of the quality of food and the exceptional service that we have received in the past. We may have to rethink that option as we dined at other restaurants this trip that gave us both the quality food and service that we have been accustomed to receiving at Sardi's.

We love going back over and over to this iconic New York restaurant. It just feels like an evening out in New York and on Broadway isn’t complete without having a meal here. It’s very reasonably priced, the food is delicious, and the service is very accommodating. On top of all of that you really get a sense of Broadway history.

Excellent experience. Our server was great and spot on with his recommendations. The food quality was exceptional. Crab cakes, lasagna, salads - all fresh and tasted amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection medium rare. Cocktails were good. Overall ambience was great.

Sardi’s iconic! Had lunch before a matinee and enjoyed the turkey club immensely! My friends loved the Caesar salad with grilled chicken and the chicken quesadilla. I returned the following week for dinner before a show and it was just as fantastic. Indulged in French onion soup while my friends loved the chilled shrimp salad, the pasta bolognese and the burgers. The decadent chocolate cake was delicious but the chocolate mousse was really the most decadent and delicious. The service was excellent- refilling water glasses, bringing food to the table hot and on time and getting us out in time for the 8 pm curtain call. Old stand by! Gotta love New York!

This is my go to pre theater restaurant. The new menu has lots more choices for all types of eaters. The food and service are always outstanding. Looking at the caricatures is always fun. It's just a delicious fun restaurant to eat in. Don't miss a chance to eat here

We had a wonderful dinner at Sardi's last Saturday night (2/1). The food and service were superb! John was soooo great! He served the drinks quickly, was appropriately attentive, and got the food to the table while it was pippin' hot. He also easily had us wrapped up in time for our 7pm curtain call. The dining room atmosphere was great. It was very calm and quiet, not your typical hectic, loud NYC restaurant which was nice. You can easily carry on a conversation with your dining guests. Sardi's also has a great upstairs bar with seating. It looked very lively upstairs. We will definitely go back!
