Join us for the New Year with a very special four-course prix fixe dinner featuring Lobster Bisque, Holiday Salad, Your Choice of Entree and Dessert. $85 per person. Served New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. We will also be offering a limited a la carte menu. Reservations are recommended.

It was awesome.
The dining room with the fireplace was lovely. It was very quiet the evening we were there. The sommelier was very helpful and knowledgeable about her craft. Our food was delicious. The ahi was particularly tasty. Daniel, our server, was also very professional.
Fabulous on all accounts. Food was fresh, flavorful, well prepared, and beautifully presented. Could not have asked for better service. I had asked for a special table since it was my birthday and I sat facing the kitchen, which was disappointing. However, they made it up by providing me with a fabulous dessert. We will be back.

Thanksgiving
Special Thanksgiving Prix fixe. Some of the food was excellent (soup & salad), some so-so (turkey & potatoes), some a little below par (stuffing). Similarly, some of the service was excellent, while some so-so or even below par (how many times do you need to ask for water?). However, everyone was very welcoming and the price was very good compared to others for the day.
Amazing food and service! A must do in Monterey. The valet service was exceptional as well
Thanksgiving dinner was a let down when the most memorable dish was the soup. The whole experience was saved by outstanding service by Rachel.
Sardine Factory was not the highlight of our stay in Monterey. The food was average and overpriced.
The most amazing dinner ever ! The only thing that would have made it even better was we had previously signed up to be on the mailing list and should have received a a 20% off coupon for our anniversary we never received it. Maybe we will get it next year, We will be back !

The service was exceedingly well and the food was extraordinarily well prepared.
We were celebrating my wife's retirement and we the decided to go to a special restaurant for this occasion. We chose the Sardine Factory. What an experience! As soon we got there the host ask us if we were celebrating something special, we told her the reason. She found us a seat in one of the beautiful rooms that restaurant has. Our attendant, Daniel, make our night very special. At the end of the dinner, Daniel brought to my wife, in an ice sculpted swan, two spoons of ice cream (we are on a Keto Diet). He make fill her very special. It was a very beautiful night. We thanks all the staff that makes this restaurant so special.

Fantastic. History Ambiance Food and Service
We had a lovely dinner at The Sardine Factory! We were celebrating our anniversary and they treated us very kindly. The service from entering and checking in to ordering was top notch. Everyone was so welcoming and wonderful. The food was seriously some of the best we’ve ever had. The abalone bisque, olive/hummus/butter with the bread, and the sache torte were top stars from our meal, while our main course of seafood pasta and scallops were also very notable. They seated us in the Conservatory which provided an excellent setting to a romantic, high class dinner. Overall, our experience at the Sardine Factory was really memorable and one for the books! We hope to come back for another time we’re in Monterey.
It was an amazing experience. Great service and food. Came for my birthday with a few friends and had a delicious chocolate cake for dessert. Will definitely be back!
Excellent food and atmosphere in the conservatory room. At our table we had steak, seafood, pasta etc. It was all excellent! Great restaurant.

food was wonderful. had the stuffed shrimp and the surf and turf special. and mark the Maitre D found the cab that my cell phone was dropped. amazing. thanks for the good time.
Still my favorite place in Monterey!!!! We love to bring friends here but also a romantic date night. We have been coming here since the 80s and every time has been wonderful. Great cocktails, funky fun bar, staff who totally knows the menu, delish food so fun to bring friends here for a first time and to eat in the conservatory- my fave place. Everyone so warm and kind. Loves? Try sardines, Caesar salad, oh and the sand dabs you can’t find them anywhere now a days and they cook them perfect. Wine beautiful wine list ask the sommelier for help wine was wonderful. I have to the Sardine Factory before on a few occasions, but this time it seemed a bit different. The noise level was way too high. We had a hard time hearing each other while chatting. The quality of the food was good but felt the service was a bit rushed. I would go back again but might request a quieter spot to sit..
Great food. Excellent service. Little bit of a weird atmosphere. But over all, pretty nice!
