Been several times. Literally everything has been great.
We were a party of 7 celebrating a friend's birthday. We chose the pre-theater menu and it was excellent. Our server was friendly, patient and very helpful. We will definitely return to Saranellos.
Pasta made in-house. Excellent food and service. Consistently good.
we love Saranello's and eat there quite a bit. Our server this time, Deb was really amazing and went above and beyond!
Saranellos has a wonderful ambience. Cozy yet fun. We love it.
Even with reservation we waited 25 minutes. Our table was right in the walkway close to front door. Food was Good but the whole experience was rushed. You shouldn’t book more than you can handle.
It was very noisy but that’s to be expected on a Saturday night. A little mix up with the order but food was all good as usual.
1st time .. host was very accommodating, our play ran late and we changed reservation but was still late.. seated us immediately.. special was swordfish my favorite.. was a little raw but still very good.. spinach was cold.. didn't realize everything was ala carte.. will be back
Had to send spaghetti and meatballs because it was too spicy. Ordered ravioli which came luke warm
We had an enjoyable dinner. Good food good service but this is the second time we visited a lettuce entertainment restaurant wherein the waitress said she’d issue our points and we left our receipts there. I get home check online and nothing gets posted. I can’t go back but I think the servers say this to get an extra tip. They said both times they’ll add extra bonus points for us and then they didn’t do anything.
Is this a scam the servers do I’ve learned next time to keep my receipt and check the balance on it
Food average however the service was terrible. Hesitant to go back.
First time I ordered from the happy hour menu. How delicious and what a bargain. The mussels were exceptionally good. We tried them in red and white sauce. The fried calamari is a standout as well.
The food is absolutely marvelous, but it took an hour for our entree
Went for my birthday dinner. Started off with unwrapping my napkin and silverware and saw icky stuff on the forks. Brought it to the attention of our server and he removed it all. We took advantage of the pre-theater deal and that was perfect! Lots of choices in each of the three categories. I had to ask for a new set of tools and napkin, as I didn’t get a replacement.I picked a salad while my husband picked soup. I had whitefish and he had trout. Both of us were quite satisfied. Good portions, hot and wonderful side dishes. For dessert, I opted for the chocolate marscapone pie and he got vanilla gelato. A great combo. Beverages were closely monitored so we were never without. We enjoyed our meal!
We've been to Saranellos many times. This Valentines Day was a bit disappointing. A large 8 top table was crammed into an area designed for 4 and is was subsequently very crowded in that area. The servers could not really get around and would bump into our chairs. In addition the rest rooms were not very clean. Food was great, but the other points put a damper on the evening.
We sat in a both in the bar area and it was much quieter. Our server Jane was terrific. The food was delicious.
The eggplant parmigiana was excellent! Our waiter JR was fantastic! JR recommended steak prepared with peppers and sausage which is not shown on the menu. This was delicious and we will order next time we go to Saranello’s.
Fantastic restaurant and had a wonderful anniversary celebration
We did brunch and it was very good! did not know they had a brunch. Others times I have been there it has been for dinner (very good as well).
We went on a Friday evening after local schools had been cancelled because of snow. I mention this as it was beyond crowded. Apparently whether you lived locally and wanted to head out, or were a guest at the hotel for a girls dance competition, you were at Saranello's at 7pm. I have never seen it so crowded. The staff was weeded but after we sat down our server was beyond attentive and our food came quickly and was delicious. I would go back, but will call first for crowd control.
Poor service. Mediocre food. Restaurant is slipping.
Only problem with this place is the cost of drinks. Mixed drinks are expensive and we like to have a few. Otherwise the food comes out hot and plentiful. Need to work on your drink pricing
Great meal for a weeknight. We wanted to use our bonus gift cards and had a wonderful evening.
Great service, food and ambiance. Nice value for pre theater dining
Great Food Great Service makes for a great combination.
We really enjoy the food! It’s always good & they staff goes out of their way to make dining here a pleasant experience.
Food was fair at best. Ordered Chicken Vesuvio. The chicken had zero flavor. Roasted pot. were hard and had no flavor either.
Ordered 2 glasses of wine and 2 cokes at bar before being seated. With tip...$40. Rip-off.
Will never go back to this restaurant. Has gone downhill over the last year or so....much like many Lettuce restarants.
First time at this location and was not impressed at all. it took about 30 minutes to get our drinks the booth next to us that was seated way after got theirs before us (same waitress for both tables) and had their order taken before us as well. We had to wave over a manager to take our order because our waitress kept passing up our table.
We had to wait a very little NB time for our food- close to an hour. The waitress kept forgetting things and forgetting to do things she promised. The broccoli rabe was vile.
We always enjoy our meal at Saranellos The biggest problem is the noise level making it difficult to carry on a conversation
