Saranello's Ratings and Reviews
1st time .. host was very accommodating, our play ran late and we changed reservation but was still late.. seated us immediately.. special was swordfish my favorite.. was a little raw but still very good.. spinach was cold.. didn't realize everything was ala carte.. will be back
We had an enjoyable dinner. Good food good service but this is the second time we visited a lettuce entertainment restaurant wherein the waitress said she’d issue our points and we left our receipts there. I get home check online and nothing gets posted. I can’t go back but I think the servers say this to get an extra tip. They said both times they’ll add extra bonus points for us and then they didn’t do anything.
Is this a scam the servers do I’ve learned next time to keep my receipt and check the balance on it
Went for my birthday dinner. Started off with unwrapping my napkin and silverware and saw icky stuff on the forks. Brought it to the attention of our server and he removed it all. We took advantage of the pre-theater deal and that was perfect! Lots of choices in each of the three categories. I had to ask for a new set of tools and napkin, as I didn’t get a replacement.I picked a salad while my husband picked soup. I had whitefish and he had trout. Both of us were quite satisfied. Good portions, hot and wonderful side dishes. For dessert, I opted for the chocolate marscapone pie and he got vanilla gelato. A great combo. Beverages were closely monitored so we were never without. We enjoyed our meal!
We've been to Saranellos many times. This Valentines Day was a bit disappointing. A large 8 top table was crammed into an area designed for 4 and is was subsequently very crowded in that area. The servers could not really get around and would bump into our chairs. In addition the rest rooms were not very clean. Food was great, but the other points put a damper on the evening.
We went on a Friday evening after local schools had been cancelled because of snow. I mention this as it was beyond crowded. Apparently whether you lived locally and wanted to head out, or were a guest at the hotel for a girls dance competition, you were at Saranello's at 7pm. I have never seen it so crowded. The staff was weeded but after we sat down our server was beyond attentive and our food came quickly and was delicious. I would go back, but will call first for crowd control.
Food was fair at best. Ordered Chicken Vesuvio. The chicken had zero flavor. Roasted pot. were hard and had no flavor either.
Ordered 2 glasses of wine and 2 cokes at bar before being seated. With tip...$40. Rip-off.
Will never go back to this restaurant. Has gone downhill over the last year or so....much like many Lettuce restarants.
First time at this location and was not impressed at all. it took about 30 minutes to get our drinks the booth next to us that was seated way after got theirs before us (same waitress for both tables) and had their order taken before us as well. We had to wave over a manager to take our order because our waitress kept passing up our table.
Arrived 45 min before reservation, extremely busy and disorganized. We were prepared to wait, checked in and went to bar. Hostesses were running around screaming guest names to seat vs having the right technology to let guest know tables are ready. Reservation time arrived and was not seated, when we inquired we were told table was getting ready, would be seated within minutes. 20 minutes passed and nothing! Manager tried to fix issue after we started physically walking out which we appreciate however we will not go back anytime soon
While we enjoyed the food that we eventually got, service was extremely slow and erratic. It took way too long for us all to get glasses of water, then our drinks were not brought out together. The salads came at the same time as the main course. And, they were out of chocolate ice cream. Rich Melman would not have been pleased.
We are always happy with Lettuce restaurants. They know how to train staff. Food always delicious and well presented and atmosphere very pleasant. Disappointed with my dish for first time ever. Ordered Zupe de Pesce which I expected to be a fish/seafood stew/soup. It was mostly a pasta dish. Very light on the seafood, a lot of pasta, and no broth or saucey base.
I think they did great by accommodating our last minute party of 6, originally it was suppose to be for a table of 2. We did not have to wait and was immediately seated. Our server was ok, I believe we could have received a bit better service, but my mom was enjoying and her birthday so we stayed and glad we did because the food was really good! I totally recommend the trout ! It was fantastic! Great ambiance and dinner crowd was busy a sign of good food!!
My husband took me to Saranello’s tonight. He’s unbelievably romantic. Jake took care of us and Brittney was wonderful. The best service anyone could wish for...Chef Michael and my husband talked about the experimental food Mecca in Tulum, Mexico. I’m amazed by what he orders. Grilled calamari with arugula, Minestrone soup, Cheese Ravioli with Burrata, Salmon with capers and grilled Brussels sprouts, lemon ice to clear our palates and fresh berries for dessert. Amazing. Saranello’s is his favorite restaurant. We just got back from Cabo and I sat back as he orders a dining experience that is incredible. Thank you Saranello’s for another wonderful dining experience.
