Came here for breakfast on a Tuesday and got the buttermilk pancakes. Yum!! Got to get the pancakes - they're delicious. The flour flowers juice is good too.
The restaurant is pretty but a bit noisy, which is pretty standard for brunch time. Service/food waiting time was a bit slow, but what we had was very tasty.
Sunday brunch for 4. The waitress immediately apologized that they were having problems in the kitchen with food backups and eventually. Sent a basket of muffins to tide us over until our food came. For a busy Sunday brunch, it really didn’t take that long and everything was delicious
Good food and cocktails. Good service. My friends and I had a nice brunch Sunday morning.
I have been to Sarabeth's in Tribeca countless times. This time was a bust. There was too much noise, portions were minuscule, and there was an antiseptic smell. It felt like a college cafeteria.
Great service great food!
Rather empty weekday breakfast but service was really slow. Server didn't pay attention to requests (easy, like can I have some ice?), charged us for things we never ordered. The croissant was meh. Wouldn't return.
Locale carino, cibo niente di chè.. sui piatti principali non c'è molta scelta.
Not only did I book this Venue for a bday celebration PEIOR TOO but the lights kept flickering onto dim and a ultra light throughout the course of the meal. My waitress not only stated “ ok have no one to help me “ when the waitress and another employee ATTEMPTED TO sing a simple happy birthday for the person enjoying my company. EMBARRASSING!!!!! She didn’t even ask or wonder what the birthday girl name was which shouldn’t have happened. Especially if you’re going to bring up an alleged “the company paid for a $2 cake “
Service was slow and sporadic. The food was excellent as always but they seemed short handed.
Live jazz is a great
We were celebrating the bride, who had been shopping nearby at Lovely Bride. Lunch with bellinis was perfect!
There really needs to be more vegan/vegetarian options for brunch. There wasn't a single vegetarian salad. I had to order the $17 avocado toast and have them hold the egg and burrata and still pay full price. Also my husband's strawberry pancakes came with 2 strawberries. Service was great though and it's very baby friendly.
I've been to the restaurant several times for special occasions and this Easter was a disappointment. The food didn't stand out at all and we had to constantly call out to our waiter for service. Don't think we'll be returning.
I am a regular at Sarabeth's and recommended to my friends that we spend Easter here. Unfortunately I was embarrassed, it was not the waitress fault as she appeared to be the only one working the back area. However, the service wasn't great as she was thinly spread. One meal came out undercooked, another meal didn't come out and was forgotten so two people ate while the other two waited and then we ate as the others were finished. Something came out in the glass of wine. All round just poor and disappointing. It dampened our Easter Sunday
It was fantastic. Food was amazing and service was great. Can’t wait to come back.
Food wasn’t as good as I remember and it was extremely loud. I would still go back and try it again but it couldn’t compare to our first visit.
the pancakes were amazing but the eggs seemed like they were artificial. Over all the food was good I would recommend for brunch.
Food was cold.
Brunch at Sarabeth’s is always a favorite for gathering with friends. Had out of town guests in and this was our choice. Great food, coffee and service. Get there early as the crowds form by 11am.
The pancakes was to die for!!
Great food, though not inexpensive, but very disappointing service.
I have always loved Sarabeth's. I have been going since I was a child. Fat & Fluffy for life!
Sadly this past Saturday they were totally swamped and maybe under staffed. Sadly I could not order a 2nd glass of wine as I couldn't find my server. Other than that, it was good! Wish they could sound proof a bit better as a child's scream (or ten of them) really carry in there.
Brunch on a snowy day !!!
There was nothing that I didn’t love about this meal. Food was delicious. Service was impeccable. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
I was a little disappointed with my meal. I ordered the Goldie Lox and it looked like a mish mash of scrambled eggs, salmon, and creme cheese. The presentation was not pretty. Reminded me of a "diner meal". They can also upgrade their coffee beans. Mine tasted sour and bitter. My daughter ordered french toast and that was ok. I was excited to have brunch at Sarabeth but unfortunately a disappontment.
I took our family to Sarabeth's for my wife's birthday. It was a late Saturday brunch and the place was pretty noisy. They were very accommodating and gave us a corner booth -- my mother-in-law is hearing impaired and the corner booth allowed her to hear a little more clearly. The food was OK...a little over-priced. But, it's TriBeCa, so...
The service was very attentive and cordial.
D.L. Hughley sat next to us, so I guess I can say I kinda had brunch with him. :)
Really good food just really expensive for what it was. We didn't expect to spend so much for brunch.
Not good at all bread extremely cold. And sat us near the kitchen where there was too much traffic meanwhile there restaurant was empty.
Adorable ambiance. Very quiet and not too crowded for a lunch. We loved it!
Perfect place to bring my mom on her visit!
Great brunch. Very friendly and attentive staff. Family friendly.
Great breakfast offering and atmosphere - Loved it!!
We were visiting the city and excited to try out Sarabeth's for brunch. While the menu looked creative with abundant offerings, my husband's English muffin on the "Popeye Eggs" was under toasted and bland. A huge fan of eggs and smoked salmon, I ordered the "Goldie Lox" and was surprised to receive a scramble with cream cheese--not what I was expecting, although it was pretty tasty. Perhaps include a bit more description on how the dish is created? My daughter ordered the "Apple-Cinnamon French Toast" and really enjoyed it, while my son ordered the pancakes off of the children's menu; the helpful addition of chocolate chips made him one happy diner! Thank you for that!
The only real negative in our experience was the coffee, which was tepid and a bit dated and served in a Lilliputian-sized serving. Unless you're doing a press for the diner/table, I would recommend increasing your cup size to accommodate those of us who like their coffee fresh, hot, and plentiful. Otherwise, really enjoyed the visit and look forward to trying out your other menus.
Low quality food and ambiance, hostess aggressively dismissive, rest of the service staff super helpful. They do try to push you out as quick as they can.
Our server didn't seem to be overly friendly or even really friendly. I don't need you to be my best friend, but friendly is helpful. That being said, the food was delicious and can't wait to go back there for the food.
No line, hostess was very friendly, and service was superb!
The server brought me the wrong dish and quickly left before I could say anything. I couldn’t get anyone’s attention to let them know that they had delivered the wrong dish. When someone finally walked past my table I alerted him to the error and he said that he would let my waiter know. He left the dish sitting in front of me and did not take it back. Seven minutes later the waiter finally arrived at my table and I informed him that the server had brought the wrong dish. No one had ever let him know. He took away that meal and my correct meal was delivered awhile later.
We go back despite the noise and the unfolded strollers almost blocking egress because the food and drink are dependable and delicious. I am usually tempted to randomly yell out, in the most kind way, "you will long for these days, young parents, when your child is a teen and comes home with a terrible boyfriend/girlfriend". What is stopping me? Fear of ejection.
