We barely saw our server. Coffee was terrible but we were still charged for it. Won’t go back.
We waited an hour for our food to come and when is finally did it was ridiculously cold. My parents were in visiting and we had a kids soccer game to get to so we couldn’t even wait for them to remake the eggs and burgers. Thank goodness my mother ordered a salad. The most ridiculous part was the noise level (forget about trying to have a conversation) AND the prices. I have lived in Manhattan my entire life and in Tribeca for over 10 years, basically around the corner from the restaurant. My 14 year old son who was starving waiting for his burger asked for a glass of orange juice and I almost fainted when I saw the bill —- $9.50!!!!!!! The service was terrible. Six people for lunch and a bill that was over $165 for brunch (mind you, two were kids). Had to ask 5 times for a refill of our water and coffee. In the end the waitress was nice and we got a plate of cookies and discount on the bill for the grief but all we wanted was a fun, good restaurant for foodies, and a place to talk with our family! Keep the discount and just give us what we OVERpay for!
Great place for a business lunch. Good menu and lots of seating.
It was good
i love Sarabeth's but had never been to this location. it was convenient for where we stayed. i normally love Sarabeth's and the experience. i'm very familiar with the menu and always enjoy their food. this time the service was not as good, and our food was lukewarm when served to us and quickly turned cold. it took so long to get to us that we didn't want to send it back. if served hot, it would have been excellent.
This was our first visit to Sarabeth's Tribeca! My sister passes the restaurant windows every morning on her way to work and thought the restaurant looked beautiful wanted to try it. We were fortunate to make a reservation for a Sunday morning and loved our experience. Our Reservation was honored with a lovely table in the back dining room, lots of natural light and a beautiful table. Our waitress was very polite, quiet and attentive. She made our meal very enjoyable. Looking forward to returning for dinner!
Everything was good except for that we were sat by the doors so that kept us chilly.
They’ve improved their service and food tremendously in the last 90 days. Steak and eggs was superb and the waiter was very attentive.
The ambiance is great, but the food was disappointing. The bronzini was either frozen or not fresh and lacked the taste and texture of bronzini. The other dishes were mediocre.
Delicious food while celebrating a friend's birthday. It's a bit pricey, even for lunch but since we were celebrating, it was worth it. The popover is delicious! My friend also got the crab cake sandwich. The adult grilled cheese was also delicious with a tomato soup that was definitely homemade. Since we made a note on our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, they brought our friend a chocolate cake that had a bit of orange flavor in it. It was beautiful and we got to sing for our friend. Would def go back again to celebrate special occasions!
Always our go to place
Omelets, pancakes, and yogurt and granola breakfasts all very good. Service was very good. Restaurant is very loud.
Brunch was very good. We had French toast and coconut waffles. It was busy brunch period and
they comped us some muffins while we waited. Overall positive service and experience
Food was incredible! Service was ok at the price point, but we enjoyed lunch very much!
I had a guest in town and went therefor lunch. I had to ask FOUR times for my iced tea after it was ordered, for example. And the place wasn’t full and employees and wait staff standing around laughing and texting at bar while we didn’t have our drinks. Won’t ever go back. I live I. The neighborhood
The roasted chicken salad $20 was absolutely tasteless. Overwhelming taste of boiled chicken breast and oil, nothing else. The service was good though.
Lemon ricotta pancakes were divine. Scones were average at best. Location is so cute and exactly what Sunday brunch should feel like. But $20 for a stack of pancakes is ridiculous. They can pay all expenses from the profit margins on the pancakes alone.
Going to Sarabeth's for dinner is a totally different experience. In the mornings for brunch its hustle and noise. Dinner time on the weekends, is quiet relaxed with the same great food. Gathering with friends and everyone enjoyed their meals from the Tribecca Burger, Scallops, Salmon and Branzino. Good time across the board.
Brunch, in town for Anniversary. Recommended by friends & it was as expected.
Reasonable food and service- disappointed to be seated near the toilet when there were empty seats in main area all the time I was there. I assumed they might be reserved when I arrived There were two other single diners near me so looks like restaurant policy
Food was great but service was meh. Our waiter kept forgetting our order and bringing different items than we had ordered. We sat with empty glasses for almost 15 minutes twice
Delicious omelette! Will go here again
It was a great experience. Nice location. Street parking which is always a bonus
Great for kids, and great service. Always a solid choice.
We were there for Sunday brunch. We’ve heard a lot about Sarabeth’s and we’re anxious to try it out. The food was delicious and ample. Our server was energetic and kind, but a bit slow in checking in on us about more coffee. Our food took 45 minutes to come out. Only once did our server inform us about the long wait. The restaurant was not to capacity, so we’re not sure what took so long. It wouldn’t have been so bad had our server checked in on us more, kept us up to date and perhaps offered to bring us some muffins or scones while we waited. I’d go there again, but not on a Sunday to see if the service was faster.
One of our favorite brunch spots when visiting the Tribeca neighborhood. The menu is consistent and the value is pretty good, plus we can always get a seat at the bar even if the brunch reservations are all filled. The avocado toast is our favorite by far!
Breakfast was good. Nothing out of the ordinary. Service was good and server was nice. Not sure if we would return or go somewhere else next time. There are thousands of outstanding spots in the city.
Good place to go for a quick bite! Service was excellent! Meal was good but nothing special really. Lots of families were there when we were dining so a bit on the noisy side. Not a place for a romantic lunch or dinner date, if that’s what you’re looking for.
Mice meal . Good experience
We went for breakfast and enjoyed great food, perfect Bloody Marys and fantastic service.
We decided to get dinner at Sarabeth's TriBeCa after work when we found it on OpenTable. Our server was very good and attentive. Our meal was delicious and we took leftovers home. The only drawback of the experience was the noise level of the restaurant and we were sat right next to the restrooms. So, we would go back, however, we will request to seated in a better place.
I met with a couple of friends for brunch on Sunday. The restaurant was quite busy but they managed everyone that came in. The seating was pretty awkward given the space. We were offered two tables on either side of the entrance where they bus the tables so there was a lot of foot traffic past our tables by the servers. I don't recommend seating by these entrances. The food was good, one of my friends and I ordered the coconut waffles along with a rum butter and pineapple slice and we shared a side of bacon along with 2 Bellinis. The Bellini could have been better but the waffles were on point (wished I could have tasted a hint of rum in the butter, but that was the only drawback). My other friend ordered the banana waffles and a side of bacon along with an elder flower drink. Everyone enjoyed their food and we had a nice time, not rushed or anything.
The food and ambiance are always great and reliable, perfect place to satisfy everyone’s appetite! The staffs’ attentive service is another reason to keep going back
It was our 48 th High School Reunion. Shawn(Sean) the Maitre D went out of his way to make this a fabulous dining experience. He reserved a quite round table as we reserved.
and even made up a sign for it. Our waiter Philip was so attentive. Offering special drink suggestions and helping with menu choices, we all lived our dishes. and the service was truly amazing. No rush. They even sent over cookies and freshly made scones. A ten star rating from all of us. We reserved again for next year but I will be back before.
We went to meet with a friend to talk and it was a good choice. Food was good, but the restaurant was mostly empty on a weeknight. We had some trouble getting waiter's attention. Nonetheless I would go back.
The brunch is perfect! The Lemon ricotta pancakes are DELICIOUS. I've never had a bad experience at Sarabeth's. This was my first time at this location and it did not disappoint. The staff was accommodating and attentive. I was there with my baby and the staff was very helpful in managing how and where they placed things on the table and very patient with my friendly but messy infant. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy but not over crowded. I highly recommend this location.
We were give the reservation and then turned away after we were seated. We were told the kitchen was closed.
Love Sarabeth’s! We try to eat there every time we make it to NyC!
Food was cold
Service was terrible
Sat right next to the toilets
Long wait for food
Would expect better...
