Food was great but the service was awful. We were constantly looking for the waitress.
Plenty of choices for brunch and breakfast lots of open tables for seating. Didn't have to wait at all for a Friday morning!
Great service. The tuna was excellent!
The menu is varied permitting a wide choice of foods for all food tastes. The waiter service was good and cordial. The restroom facilities could have been cleaner. This is my restaurant of choice when I am meeting clients or friends in lower Manhattan.
The food average ok ! But the soup ( Tomato soup per menu) came out cold ! We needed to return via Manager.
Plus , there was a flying bug ( tiny) all over our table during dining . We reported to the manager . But seems he is doing nothing about it !
Sarabeth used to be our favorite dining place in neighborhood. Appears some unusual changes both dining room and kitchen .
Hope it will be corrected and back to usual quality standard .
Very nice, great service, definitely on my go back to list!
I have been to Sarabeth’s a few times. Dietary restrictions have changed so the menu did not entirely work. No sugar free syrup for diabetics. No ricotta cheese that hadn’t already been prepared, or so we were told. I had an omelet which they did make to order but it was not done enough. We were very disappointed this time. Sorry.
The staff was ESPECIALLY welcoming, friendly and just the perfect balance of present and warm, and leave you alone. Abraham was our waiter was lovely. And the gentleman at the front desk whose name I didn't get.
We had great food and great service. It was a very enjoyable Saturday brunch. However, the restaurant was very crowded, we were inches from neighboring tables, and the noise level was off the charts. If you are wanting a quiet lunch where you can have a conversation, this is not your place. Also, as out-of-towners, it was a shock to pay $9 for a small glass of orange juice. That being said, I would go back in a minute!
Good food and good ambiance - although right next to us was a large group that was a little noisy. Our servers were amazing, especially Victor. Creme brulee wasn't on the dessert menu but when we asked, he made it happen for us - thank you! Will definitely be back.
I've eaten at this Sarabeth's before -- and a number of other branches of this chain. Food was tasty, but unless one orders a bread product, a salad does not come with any bread, roll, or other similar item. /food description wasn't great ... roasted chicken salad was primarily greens, not a chicken salad plate. Not a major issue, but would have appreciated more information. Greatest disappointment was service. Service was slow (we joked that they must have gone somewhere to catch the chicken to make the salad) and not particularly attentive. I might come back, because I do like their menu, but would definitely think twice before doing so.
Octopus starter was mostly potatoes. Ahi tuna main was cold, sent it back to heat up. Asked for steak frites medium rare came cooked through. Restaurant apologized but didn’t offer anything. Brussel Sprouts were good. Prices, on several dishes, higher than shown on Open Table.
Our breakfast was delicious . We shared the rib beef hash breakfast and the avocado toast breakfast! So good!!
Our waitress was darling too and made sure our coffee was hot each time she walked by. We’ll be back !
Never disappointed here. Bloody Mary s are superb. Goldie lox meal is to die for. Love it.
Sarabeth's has a very nice menu and the food was cooked perfectly. I love that you are able to talk without yelling and it's very cozy and intimate. Very good!
The food was served luke warm our was fine the best thing I had was the $14 Bellini.
Sunday brunch at Sarabeths is a great experience. Professional, attentive staff provide a positive dining experience. Great food and cocktails all in a family-friendly environment.
Great breakfast fare and quality meals, just a tad warm in the room,, due mainly to unseasonably warm in NYC
Sarabeth's is a fine place to grab brunch, particularly if you need a place that takes reservations or you have a larger party to seat. The food is solid but not particularly remarkable (the side salad was mixed greens with a tiny bit of oil and vinegar, the english muffins on the eggs benedict were barely toasted and kind of heavy), the service is very good, the price is a bit steep for what you get. If you have time to wait, there are much better places in the neighborhood, but if not this will be okay.
Love Sarabeths Brunch!! It’s a must with every trip to NYC! Maybe one day I’ll try something different than the Almond Crusted French Toast.... but I doubt it!
Like the CPW location so much better
Staff were courteous and the food was delicious!
I got sick after eating the benefictine eggs. I even had to go to a doctor. It was my favourite place to have breakfast, but now, I am going to think twice before eating there.
Service left a lot to be desired. It was hard to get a refill on a glass of water. Prices of coffee and tea are quite high for this type of establishment.
Sarabeth's - all of them - are great. With the exception of the semi-rude hostess, the rest of the wait staff were wonderful. The food is freshly prepared and nicely presented.
Thanksgiving dinner @ Sarabeth’s was great. Lovely meal and nice ambiance. Would recommend.
It was supposed to be a very special family thanksgiving dinner until the very poorly service started here. The waitress definitely did not come until I had to call out and reach out to her for every single need from menu to water to food to desert. Also she did not explain that there was kids size menu was available (with different price) for prefix dinner so I ended up paying 60 more dollars for the kids who ended up only eating half. The managers seem to check if my table was taken care but then the waittresses already screwed the dinner experience of the thanksgiving. The food was good but would never go back again for a special day event.
Thanksgiving Dinner was outstanding!
Terrible service. We were a party of 12
Fantastic as usual! Excellent place to catchup with friends as they find a way to be serviceable and yet not bothersome.
Good food. Terrible waitstaff.
Food was excellent. We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time and offered beverages the moment we sat down. Will definitely be back!
Gave me the wrong order, twice.
You know I like Sarabeths - I always have - for like MOST OF THE 30 years I've lived in Manhattan it seems - but you know - Im sick of the attitude - really - I think is that usually Im with friends (on my wekeend) and I just try to overlook it and not be negative -but the front desk staff at Park Avenue is plain rude - I dont care how busy a Sunday morning is. The past two times we've had a reservation change (for a group of 4 friends and 3 only showed) they've change the table on us - and this Sunday the table was in the very very back (hell) literally - literally - in between two tables of some sort of obnoxious childrens party - what petty childish power plays. And mostly -- yawn. Make youre money on the new folks - us boomers will go elsewhere with a bad taste on our mouths......
I arrived at Sarabeth’s on Central Park South , thinking this was where my reservation was for the evening . I had made reservations at Park Avenue South by mistake , but they were kind and accommodated our group and we had a fun and delicious evening !
The dining room was empty, and the service was very slow for bar items. All of my guest enjoyed their dinners. My sister and i had the crab cake sandwich, mine was very fishy, i could not eat it. My sisters was just ok, she got through half of hers. All around- it was eeeh.....very disappointing. Usually one of my favorite places to visit when i come to the city.
Had delicious egg omelettes for breakfast. We both chose the bran muffin and it was delicious also!!
Very nice staff, we loved it. We had a large group, arriving at different times and the staff was very accommodating. Thanks again!
Consistent - however laced health options such as gluten free bread
It was a busy morning and thanks to open table app we got our table very quickly. However after 40m of waiting we still didn’t get the food. Turns out one of the waiter served our food to a couple 2 tables next to us.
Honestly the second I figured that out on my own I was bit annoyed, not at the restaurant but, at the couple who didn’t let the waiter know it wasn’t there food. After finishing “our” dishes they soon realized it wasn’t theirs...
The floor manager of Sarah Beth’s came over to our table multiple times apologizing for the error.
It wasn’t their fault, early breakfast is very busy and as a former waiter my self I understood. (I think I am still ticked off at the couple who didn’t correct the error) The manager was very kind and did everything in her power to make our stay more comfortable. For that I am so very grateful.
The meal was delicious and the restaurant covered our bills for the error, again thank you very much.
I hope to come again on my next visit to nyc but maybe I’ll come by during brunch instead of very morning.
Thank you for the amazing meal.
