My omelet came on a plate shoved to the far right. The left of this large plate was empty! Looked like chef forgot the greens or whatever was suppose to be on the left side OR this is MOMA brunch art on a plate.
Went with three girlfriends on Sunday for brunch. We all enjoyed our respective entrees. We were not rushed despite having a busy afternoon. It is a bit pricey but no more so then other establishments in the area.
Came here for brunch after our wedding...loved it.
We have been here before, the food is very good and the drinks are good but it is pricey and the service is just alright. It’s always crowded for brunch and requires making a reservation pretty far out.
Overpriced considering the proximity to other restaurants with better food. Venue was practically empty ( which should tell you all you need to know in NYC). I would go somewhere else.
Skirt steak was delicious.
Had a wonderful time with my friends for brunch. We were celebrating my birthday. Marco, our waiter, was amazing. He was attentive and very professional. The food was delicious. The crab avocado appetizer is a must have! The Elderflower Mimosa and Margaritas were great as well. I will definitely return to Sarabeth's.
Alba, our server, was extremely attentive and always smiling! We enjoyed our Happy Hour immensely!
Sarabeths has become a tradition for every trip to New York. Service is excellent and Bloody Marys are a meal in itself.
Accommodating host. Attentive servers and staff. Efficiently organized and operated establishment. Excellent food at a reasonable price. Available seating.
Great meal. Great service. Best Sarabeths in NYC.
Very nice brunch and great service. Food was large portions...could easily split.
Excellent food as always. A great place to eat for any occasion.
I think the service was not up to par yesterday. I've been here several times and was disappointed by the inattentive wait staff with regards to refilling coffee, not getting the order correct for an omelette, not replacing cutlery etc. The manager was polite and apologetic, and it could have been an off day - but Sarabeth's should always be "ON".
Ariana was superb in service
Best fluffy egg white veggie omelette ever. Also the French toast was good.
We were seated and then had two more people join us. The original server was rude and not friendly, then a different server came and took our order. Very friendly and took our order promptly. Pancakes came our cold and were returned to the kitchen for hot ones.
Our food was great, but our service was terrible. We waited for 25 minutes before someone came to our table to wait on us. Wait staff came by to get our drink & food order, served drinks, served food. Never checked to see if we needed refills until we were ready for the check. Sarabeth's had been recommended to us by a friend, therefore, I was super disappointed. But the food was good.
The service was sooo slow. I was unimpressed. Slow to take our order. Slow to get the check etc.
Awesome staff and food!
It was moderately good. Food and service were below our expectations.
They left us standing outside for 35 minutes before opening. Was awful because of construction. They could have let us in the waiting area while they set up.
Very disappointed with this restaurant’s quality of food and service. The only reason I might suggest this place to someone is if they are looking for a place with good ambiance and they can’t get a reservation for Saturday or Sunday brunch anywhere else. In that case, Sarabeth’s will probably still have reservations available, even last minute... (there’s a reason why this is the case). From the beginning the waitress had no idea what the items on the menu were. I asked a few questions about clarification on specific menu items and both times she had to call her supervisor to speak with me. When the food came out (it came out within 10 minutes which I guess is good?), the food was just so plain and boring - tasted as if I could make it even better myself.
The pancakes were so good, the eggs Benedict were correct, however the capuchino was regular, as the coffe looked burnt.
The environment was nice and the employees really helpful.
Buen lugar buena comida buen servicio buen sabor en la comida
We were looking for all the favorite brunch items like pancakes, French toast and omelettes. I ordered the eggs, lox and salmon which was delicious. The pancakes were fluffy, the French toast ordered by my aunt was wonderful. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon, not ham. He wasn’t happy with the muffin, but enjoyed the rest of the dish The fresh squeezed orange juice was also delicious. We had a roomy booth. The room was busy, but quiet. It was perfect place to bring my elderly aunt. It was great to actually be able to hear each other talk. The staff was warm and helpful. I’ll definitely return to this location.
Excellent as always!
The service was very poor. Waiters fought within earshot over who would take us. One waiter took our order; ten minutes later another one came to take it, with no explanation. We had to beg for more coffee and ketchup. Nobody checked on us after the food came. Sausage was undercooked. Way overpriced for what it is. Not sure what’s happening with this location, but it’s not living up to Sarabeth’s standards.
Known for its brunches it is also a great place to go for dinner because there is plenty of room, great service and great food
We enjoyed the food and environment. We all like this restaurant and will definitely go back.
Very good. I never had the turkey burger. Surprisingly good. The servers are always very attentive.
I look forward to coming back. Delicious food, friendly waitstaff and hosts. Will highly recommend.
This is my second time at the restaurant, and both times have been poor experiences. I went for Sunday brunch with my family the second time - the manager was rude & patronizing. Service was very slow, but the restaurant was crowded which could have contributed to the service wait time. The food itself was also below expectations - I got the avocado & burrata toast which seemed simple enough, but the bread was soggy and there was barely any avocado (barely a smear). To be honest though, what made the experience awful really goes back to how the manager treated me and my family. Would not recommend.
Healthy and fresh breakfast at this expansive Sarabeth’s location. Enjoyed the eggs atop a kale salad and had an invigorating start to the day. Excellent coffee
Service was great and everyone enjoyed their meal!
We were meeting a friend for at weekend lunch. We are frequent visitors to this location. But the restaurant was very very warm, I was actually sweating a bit. Definitely detracted from my enjoyment
It was okay. Not that great how people portrays it to be. I didn't like any of the desserts we had from the menu.
Always love coming here
Great food and great service!
