Monday night, not crowded at all. Very good food and service.
Service not great.
Asked 3 times for water as my daughter was having a coughing fit. Three different people said right away but didn’t happen. Daughter asked for piece of toast or bread with her salad. Never happened despite asking twice. Very big space. At 3;30 /4 on Sat sort of a dull atmosphere. Maybe they should close off some of the space or change the menu or close for a few hours. Mostly I object to the service. Also spent $100 with no alcohol. Sparkling water and coffee and one salad entree each plus shared dessert.
First time at Sarabeth’s and it was a delightful experience.
Our server was excellent, we weren’t rushed, the food was good, prices higher than expected, we were a tad loud at times and weren’t reprimanded, and we were looked after nicely throughout the meal. Restrooms, a long hike through twisty halls and two flights of stairs. Overall, an especially enjoyable evening with friends.
The service was slow but food was good. Overall a good experience.
Vey good food, attentive service a very nice atmosphere
We loved Sarabeth’s! Great customer service, friendly staff, very classy, great food, and overall an amazing experience! We will for sure be back at Sarabeth’s!!
Always a well done brunch in an upscale atmosphere.
If you aren’t in a hurry and don’t want all your party’s entrees and sides in a timely fashion and don’t mind inattentive service this is the place to go.
Best thing was the 4 flower fruit juice and grapefruit juice!
The food was delicious as usual. I got the braised beef with poached eggs and tomatillo sauce. It was perfect and we had the nicest server ever!
Great service, lovely food - one of our favorite places for brunch
Good food but main server was not attentive - had to get water from a different server - not friendly
Sarabeth’s is a staple for any time I come to NYC. Fabulous food, great service and convenient location all come together to create a perfect escape from the hustle bustle of the city.
Food was delicious! The restaurant does not have much character but for the solid and consistent meal it is worth it.
Love be the scones, have been a long time fan. Was visiting from Texas. The hostess at this location needs a class in customer service. Never looked up from the computer. Was visibly upset when people left and their name came up on the ticket machine (from his lack of CS, communication and people skills no wonder why people who do not know how great Sarabeth’s is would leave) I made a reservation and specifically asked to NOT be seated in a high traffic area because I have a service dog and health condition. I was seated at the first table in the lounge/bar away - the most trafficked table in the whole restaurant. There were three table next to me empty and I asked if I could at least not be at the edge (seat me in the middle, same kind of table) I was told it would be over and hour wait cause those are for other people. I just took the table; the whole visit NO ONE was seated in the area I asked to move to. Instead I had the over flow people that the hostess was ignoring in my lap- even leaning at the back my of seat to watch the game at one point. I had to ask them to back off so I could eat with some privacy. If the hostess was watching they would not allow the people waiting to envade the seated tables. I will never eat at this location and I WILL MAKE SURE NONE OF MY FRIENDS eat here either. Very poor attitude- not reflective of Sarabeth’s.
It was a fine place for lunch where we happened to be in the neighborhood.
Very accommodating, great food, and my companion was able to order off-menu. Consistently very good.
Branzino was inedible, prosciutto was too salty and thick, skirt steak, scallops and pizza were good, tapenade had a bad aftertaste, bussers were good and plentiful, and waiter was either really slow or very overworked. We won’t return.
Perfect for a casual and quick lunch. And you can hear yourself talk!
Did not have ingredie
We had to wait for 20 minutes for a table though we were there on time for our reservation, but once we were seated everything went very well. The food was very good, albeit pricey, but that wasn't a surprise. We were happy about our experience.
Sleek decor and very popular place to go in south Manhattan area. Had the scrambled eggs with cream cheese and scallions popover which was in a bread budding type deal. It was very good. My husband had the short rib hash and that was very flavorful and filling as well. Large portion and had good attentive service.
Brunch was delicious- Eggs Benedict and Chic sausage & kale frittata! Only downside- Bellinis we’re supposed to have fresh peach nectar- not so- peach schnapps seems to be the substitute- disappointing for $45/carafe!
We had a lovely time at Sarabeth's....so lovely in fact that we went back the next day.
Every time I go here the service sucks. Food is good, not great. Drinks are average.
When at busy times place falls behind in service quality. Had to keep asking for items we had ordered as well as utensils. Need to improve dramatically as when you have many reservations things always slip at this place!
Thought the restaurant was lovely, had only been to Sarabeth’s on Madison and CPS before. This room is far more attractive. Asked for a quiet table in the back, which they provided. Food was very good as was service. I would definitely recommend and would return.
I was very disappointed with the decline in the quality of the food.
I enjoy coming here when I am in the area. Food is consistently excellent, very attentive wait staff, just an all-around pleasant experience.
It was an excellent choice to celebrate both Father’s Day and my 9 year old son receiving a little league award. My husband wanted some type of brunch and my son wanted pizza and, lo and behold, Sarabeths had both!! And may I add that the pizza off of the kid’s menu was both huge and pretty amazing!! The whole meal was wonderful and the service was top notch!
Food is good but not GREAT. Service is good but not GREAT. I make these comments relative to the prices, which are high even for NYC. I mean $20 for four smallish pancakes as an example.
I ordered the roasted chicken salad. It was fishy! They must be mixing the utensils. It ruined the meal for me.
My group all ordered a round of mimosas to which we asked the waiter if they were bottomless. He was unsure and left to ask for clarification, coming back saying the regular mimosas were unlimited but the specialty was not. After ordering several drinks, the check comes out to over $500 because we were charged for every mimosa ordered. After complaining to management they only offered to contact the police and not fix the situation in any other way. Completely unprofessional and we will not be returning.
Service was outstanding, the food awesome, just wish I didn't feel like I was sitting on top of the guy next to me at another table...
We arrived early and seated within minutes. I’m not a fan of two tops right next to each other, but I suppose it’s expected in NYC. My Five Flower mimosa was lovely and the lemon ricotta pancakes with blackberries were delicious! The featured crab cakes eggs Benedict could have used more hollandaise since it barely touched the crab cake under the poached egg. The coffee is good and strong.
The waiter tried to rush us out of the restaurant the minute we were finished eating, which was unpleasant.
Birthday brunch was so cool
What a lovely place! We always head to SarahBeths when in NYC. Great service and super wheelchair access. I feel the staff are so attentive.
