This location is a good one for business lunches. There are usually tables open and the assortment of brunch and lunch choices and drinks please just about everybody.
Loud atmosphere. Small overpriced meals. Lump crab cake was ground up crab meat with no lumps. Side salad was served with balsamic vinaigrette. I would have appreciated a choice in dressing. Skirt steak was super thin but tasted fine.
Delicious meal in a fun atmosphere.
Do yourself a favor...make brunch at Sarabeth’s a part of your NYC experience. Courteous, friendly staff; delicious food and drinks. Go!
Yes, but - very very expensive and crowded. Nice server but when it takes 10 min to get milk (regular, nothing special) it’s not right.
Sarabeth’s has been one of my favorites for years, and I have never visited this location. It is spacious and you don’t feel as crowded and rushed as you do at the other locations. I strayed from the lemon ricotta pancakes and ordered the burrata avocado toast. It was delicious! I also had a fabulous apple cider sangria. I won’t visit NYC without stopping here!
Great experience overall! Food was very good and the service was excellent
Birthday dinner for adult daughter ended with a marvelous chocolate dessert that fed us 4, thank you staff!
No complaint food was delicious and served promptly. Good wine and drinks.
Live Sarabeth’s Jams now her dinners
Good place for groups, service was attentive and courteous, food was good with lots of choices for brunch. The noise level was very high making conversation difficult. Otherwise a pleasant experience.
Wonderful birthday date
Had been a few years since we were there and better than we remembered.
good food. Service needs improvement. I will be going back.
Sarabeth's serves up fine-dining prices but not quite a fine-dining experience. The food is OK. You're never going to tell someone about the terrific dinner you had at Sarabeth's or the great wine you tasted there. The room is spacious, relatively quiet as restaurants go, and altogether pleasant. Decor is nondescript. The wait staff is competent but more coffee shop than service-oriented. So when a bill for two for a perfectly ordinary dinner, served with no flourishes on the plate or table, reaches close to $200, it's a bit of a surprise.
As always, Sarabeth's withstands the test of time. Very enjoyable brunch, although a bit on the pricey side (nearly $100 for two without cocktails). Try the jalapeno and cheddar omelette. Nice kick but not too spicy!
Sunday birthday brunch. Food was excellent and waitstaff was very attentive. Complementary birthday dessert was much appreciated. Overall excellent experience.
It was my sisters birthday and they absolutely made her feel like the queen that she is. Service was great and attentive. I absolutely love their adult grilled cheese. I have it almost every time. That tomato soup is AMAZING! Their blueberry pancakes were divine and their skones, are delicious!
Pumpkin Waffles are my favorite! Sunday brunch and although we had reservations, we still had to wait for our table.
Front desk was a bit disorganized. We were seated after several people who checked in way us even though we had a reservation. We ended up reminded them we had checked in after the third time and immediately got seated. We also had two different people come asking us for water and drink orders before our actual waiter ended up coming over and doing the same. But food came out fast and was decent.
Management and bus staff were very good, very on top of things. Our server (who had a pony tail) on the others hand was nonexistent. Took the order and then saw him talking a lot and hanging out by the computer. Even to get the check was a process having to ask others to get him.
We like Sarabeth’s and have been to Central Patk location several times. We would come back, but hopefully get a different server.
Everything as usual, was terrific! The manager was so lovely and came to our table to chat. We mentioned it was my husband’s birthday a few days before and a few minutes later a beautiful slice of cake appeared at our table. Such a thoughtful gesture. We’ll definitely be back!
Outstanding all round. Thanks!
There was a bug crawling around in my salad
It was not very well received
Had guacamole and chips, salmon egg Benedict, blueberry pancakes. Excellent food and service. Nice ambiance.
Where are the gluten free options? For a breakfast/brunch & lunch restaurant there should be gluten free breads
The food is always delicious!
Very nice and friendly staff. We had gone there for brunch and I was really nice that the accommodated us with our 18 month old. They even gave a children's menu for her. Food was so tasty!!
Very expensive for very mediocre food. Can do MUCH better in NYC for brunch.
Everything that we had for breakfast was excellent from the coffee to the muffins to the farmers omelette and specialty omelet that day (spinach and caramelized onion)
Always a favorite. Surprisingly spacious for Manhattan. Good food and good service.
Meal was good, service was fair, charged us for coffee when we didn’t order it and they argued with us about taking it off the bill. It wasn’t even drank.
Went to Sarabeth’s Park South with one friend. We were seated almost immediately and constantly had servers re-filling our coffee. It was a great experience and I will be back soon!
The hostess and manager Doug were beyond rude when we were unhappy with our table. Paying customers should not have eyes rolled at them and yelled at in front of other customers. It’s unprofessional and rude. Fortunately the food is delicious but as a frequent customer at this restaurant I will be thinking twice before making another reservation and having my leisurely Sunday with my family being ruined by someone who obviously does not deal well with people
i love sarabeths, but this particular location was a little too modern and had such a different vibe from the central park sarabeths i love so much.
i would still go back as this particular occasion it was more about location, but missed the homey feel you get from the other place that makes the food so warm and comforting
avocado toast presentation was very underwhelming. taste was fine, but nothing exciting.
would suggest maybe some balsamic reduction or some tomatoes to brighten it up.
white peach bellini also tasted fine, but would have liked a garnish of some sort. it came out looking very flat.
kids breakfast portions were great and satisfying.
Their menu hasn’t changed. I ordered the branzino. It was so dry. And they left the skin on. When I removed it the piece that was left was so tiny. Not worth the money. Service was great though.
A reliable standard. Food is reliable. Service is mixed. Setting is nice.
I have enjoyed going to Sarabeth's for lunch on several occasions. This time the service was bad to indifferent. The food remains very good, though.
The service was really disappointing both times that we have been there.
Tables very close.
Sarabeth's on Park Ave is a good option if you're close by, but I recommend going to the Sarabeth's Central Park South location. I felt like I was in a catering hall of sorts at the Park Ave location. With that being said, the waitstaff and management were diligent and courteous in their service.
