Amazing service! I didn’t get my servers name but he was Hispanic with a man bun on the top lol. Very attentive and knowledgeable. The manager also touched the table to make sure everything was okay. I am a food and beverage manager myself so I’m happy to see standards are being upheld still.
My bf and I was celebrating our anniversary and it was our 1st time there.. Everything was great staff was on point
I have been wanting to go here for years, and Sarabeth’s did not disappoint. We had brunch after church on Sunday, including our three kids ages 8 and 5. We had a darling u-shaped booth with privacy panels so it had a lovely semi private feel. Kids had pancakes and Mac and cheese, me and hubby had almond crusted French toast and steak frites. The food was superb and the kids also loved theirs, and they are very picky. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, impressive to me because it’s such an “it” place and we have three busy kids. A quirk: if your party is all there, but some go to the restroom they literally won’t seat you till everyone is present, so if a table is available it will be given to another party till you are all there. Another quirk: the bathroom area is poorly ventilated and smells very bathroomy which you would not expect at a sleek and chic place like this; just a small thing. I highly recommend Sarabeth’s for any occasion, the food, service and ambiance were superb.
Great brunch spot! I made reservations early Sunday morning and was pleased that I could get the time I wanted. The staff is friendly and welcoming which is not always the case with restaurants that are popular and busy for brunch.
The food, as always, was delicious. One of the best brunch places in the City. The service was less than stellar. We ordered a fruit platter "starter" that we requested to come out ahead of our meal, and was delivered with our meal. We had also made it clear that we were sharing the dish, but no serving spoon was supplied with it. Also, we did not have teaspoons with our place setting -- an essential piece for stirring tea and coffee.
Wonderful space to enjoy breakfast/lunch. The restaurant is spacious and the food was delicious. Highly recommend
I hadn't been to Sarabeth's for many years (and never at this location). I was surprised at how big and loud it was. I was expecting a more intimate experience. That said, while expensive, the food was good and staff was wonderful.
Good service. Tasty food. Not overly crowded.
As always the service and food was amazing. Only thing that marred the experience was the snide comment received from the gentleman when we arrived. Due to work obligations was unable to call running late as I could not change the time on open table. Did not appreciate the snide comment relating to our lateness.
Otherwise, lunch was great kudos to our server for recommendation on the shrimp risotto.
Birthday celebration - great experience
I hadn’t eaten a meal in more than 24 hours. I had flown in from Vancouver for my son’s swearing in for the New York Bar. We were done and out of there by 10:30 AM and I needed food. I did a quick OT search and discovered we were 7 minutes from Sarabeth’s and a table was available for 10:45. Monday AM at 10:45 it is lovely and quiet and my sister and i had time to eat a leisurely meal. The fruit bowl is amazing. SWEET blackberries. I don’t even really like blackberries, but I do here! My omelet was very good, but 3.00 extra for just egg whites? The coffee is very good as well. I happen to know the scones are almost as good as those you can get in the UK. Make a reservation whenever you go to Sarabeth’s and know that it can get noisy later in the day. Touristy? Yes. On the bucket list for me? Definitely! No, my son couldn’t join us. He had to go back to work!
Wonderfully gracious hosts and servers despite the place being full and very bustling when we arrived. We showed up with an extra person in our party, and they seated us without blinking an eye. Everyone very attentive, and my out of town guests loved their first-ever "brunch" - particularly the ricotta pancakes, the muffins and the generous side of bacon. In truth, I've been to most of the other Sarabeth's locations and did not love the huge, cavernous space of this one, and found the food perhaps not up to the standard I've had at the other locations. But my guests were none the wiser, and we all had a lovely time, and appreciated not being rushed to "turn the table," so would definitely recommend.
They never fail. Always a good experience and meal.
Almost empty but it was 945pm. Very large dining area but hardly anyone there
Nice place, but for small serving of dry pancakes, avocado toast, and a coffee it was 80 dollars. Way over priced for what you get. I would go with a smaller local place or even a bigger hotel breakfast. It's too bad because it had such nice reviews. But when pancakes are 24$ for 4 3 inch cakes, they should be amazing.
Terrible overpriced meal. Some of the worst service, definitely wont be coming back anytime soon. Who pays 22$ for a waffle you could get at IHOP .
Food was good, tea had to be
Sent back as it was tepid. service could improve somewhat.
My daughter ordered pancakes and was given waffles. My eggs Benedict was good, but Luke warm at best. I had said in the notes that we were celebrating my daughter’s 13th birthday and was not recognized at all.
I go to Sarabeth's Park Avenue South often and never ever get tired of the food. The food is very delicious and the ambiance is great also.
My first visit here. 4 in party with reservation; table ready upon arrival. Crab/avocado app was amazing. We had steak, tuna and chicken pot pie at our table along with brussels sprouts and cauliflower; all were superb! The iced tea was old and our server was less than enthusiastic but the quality of the location, ambience and food could not be argued. I will return and will refer to friends.
Great atmosphere, food was excellent and s
Horrible. Food had no flavor and was cold. they didn’t bring forks until several minutes after bringing our food and we had to ask twice!
I was asked not to get seated in the back room and they wouldn’t move our table. It was freezing in the room and the vibe was horrible compared to rest of restaurant. Not happy with this. They should have sat us elsewhere and not an extra table in the back that is supposed to be for private parties. Will not be back anytime soon.
We always love Sarabeth’s! The service was wonderful and the food delicious!!!!
I was celebrating my cousins 30th and I wrote down on a business card this information to the hostess and she acknowledge the message. However, the waiter never brought a slice of cake with a candle. That was disappointing.
Food was good but service was way off. All drinks came out together except for my wife's coffee, which only came out 10 minutes later after we asked several times. And then without milk. Basket of muffins came out without any jam. After multiple asks, we got some jam but enough for about half of a muffin (there are 4 in the basket). Finally when a manager came over, we got some jam. On the value side, my three young kids all wanted orange juice. The waiter asked if we wanted kids cups for each, we said yes. They charged $8.25 per -- yes, $24.75 for kids' OJ.
Overall, very good experience! Never a bad brunch at Sarabeth’s...
SB Park Ave was SUPER fast and Delicious!! I always think the food is slightly overpriced, but I keep going back. LOL. The ambiance in the midst of hectic Manhattan is well worth it. Lemon ricotta pancakes and apple sausage are my go to. Perhaps I’ll try one of the pretty omelettes in the future.
We went for brunch and it did not disappoint. After visiting the Sarabeth location in Key West we decided to try the Park Ave South location....so good! I recommend making a reservation as the place gets packed quickly.
Disappointing- was served with a glass with lipstick stain.
The food was over priced and was not as good as the version in Osaka, Japan.
Overall, a let down.
Tables for couples or two people are too close together, we couldn’t speak because of the ppl next to us, it felt like they were sitting with us.
My mom had the crab cake, my aunt the chicken pot pie and I had the Seafood Cobb Salad. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of their menu. So much to choose from!!
terrible service from start to end. Food was terrible as well.
Great everything, as usual!
We were at a table for 6. One person at our table did not get their meal until we were all practically finished. When we asked the waiter said another waiter took her food to another table by accident
Always excellent best brunch
Love this place. Great for Sunday brunch. Delicious food and vibe. 10/10 reccomend for anyone looking for good food and good drinks.
Way over rated. Wildly expensive. Could have eaten breakfast for three days at Blooms for the price paid!!
Don’t fall for the hype.
The food was great!
