Used to be my favorite neighborhood place but this time the food was really really bad. And a $29 skirt steak was inedible. Not likely to dine here for a long time.

My friend and I had a really lovely brunch here, everything tasted amazing! I ordered the buttermilk pancakes, and honestly plan to share because I had to give my friend 1 & 1/2 pancakes. Highly recommend going there before taking a short walk to the Met, really a great way to digest and have a glance around Central Park.

Food was just ok. For the price, I would have expected better ... both in terms of quality and quantity. The service was excellent - attentive without being overbearing.
Good wine by the glass selections.
Not sure I'd go back just because I expected the food to be better.

It was okay ... I had Popeye eggs and the scrambled eggs came out all joined together more like a pancake... also though the decor is a bit old fashioned and frumpy. Sarabeth’s at other locations are nicer.

This restaurant is a tired endeavor. The main dining area needs its’ ceiling patched and painted. The food was OK though pricey even for NYC.

pleasant quiet good location.
Waited a while to order even though it was empty when we arrived- baked goods great - eggs come only with bread or muffin

Service lent et désinvolte, bruit assourdissant, nourriture médiocre et toilettes épouvantablement sales. Etonnamment bondé et fréquenté par les dames huppées du quartier. Pitoyable pour ce prix exorbirant !

A very civilized place to have dinner, where you can hear your dinner companions and be sure you will get a quality, if pricey, meal.

The atmosphere was lovely and the dishes were very tasty. The spicy cocktail added an extra flavor to the overall experience.

We were happy that the crab cake appetizer was prepared quickly and cooked to perfection, but the filet mignon was blue and returned to be cook more done. It was nice to have all the sides presented on the plate when returned to the table.

The handicapped bathroom is old world lovely, but I found a large amount of toilet tissue on the floor and just enough left for me to use.

I do plan to return and hope that this constructive criticism is helpful.

It is a shame that it is going to be torn down. Where will people eat in the neighborhood? There are fewer and fewer places.

We came for the restaurant week lunch. The hostess didn't bother giving us the restaurant week menu. It took us 10 minutes to flag anybody down to get the menus. In addition, the hostess didn't bother to mark the reservations as done, so no credit for the lunch.

Not feeling love. Or hospitality. Or professionalism.

Food was very good, but overall experience was less than mediocre.

I would recommend Sarabeth's as the food was excellent. Service could have been better and if you are heading to an event be sure to tell them and they will get you out on time. Room is crowded and noisy. But food makes it worthwhile

Terrible service - not attentive.

Food was mediocre; substituted ingredients without telling us until after the food arrived. Turkey burger was dry and over cooked.

Overpriced - not much value

Our food was perfectly delicious, and the service was excellent. We were there for a late dinner, 9:00ish on a Monday, so the restaurant was quiet and not at all crowded, with lovely ambience. We would definitely return and highly recommend!

While the food was pretty good, the service was not. The waitstaff seemed to be very interested in talking amongst themselves and standing around, but not very interested in ensuring that diners were happy. Do not plan to go there again - too many competitors.

There is something for everyone ...for young daughters and for the adults as well.

Food was freshly made and good quality. Like that breakfast is served into late afternoon. Seating is cramped as tables are very close to each other making it difficult to get up from your seat bacause you have to squeeze between tables next to yours.

A nice lunch there with friends, with delicious chicken pot pie and grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup, and friendly service.

BUT the restaurant doesn't appear to be well-maintained, and the bathroom facilities, which are not accessible from the restaurant without going up about 6 stairs and through a door into the corridor of the adjoining hotel, are really subpar.
