Delicious brunch on the UES!
Wonderful brunch within walking distance of the museums. I will be back every time I'm in NYC and definitely recommend Sarabeth's to my friends.
Perfect for lunch/brunch. Varied menu. Quiet enough for good conversation. Comfortable seating. good value for a leisurely dining.
It is a good place, the food is good, but people have no patience to wait everybody come and want we pay before we finish to está.
Very relaxed with great service and tasty food.
The waiter was very well mannered although he didn’t pour the right amount of coffee in my cup. They should let you know that five pancakes come in one order. It was also very expensive because there’s no way I can finish five pancakes so it would have been great to share. They are not supporting food conservation with their portions and ripping people off with their prices. However, it was quite delicious and although a bit cramped and a stupid host who couldn’t understand my name even after I kept insisting that I was not Monica, it was overall a splendid outing.
Food was good as always. We sat upstairs and were
One of a few tables. The room filled up mid meal and our server was very inattentive from that point on. I had to ask twice for coffee and he took forever to come with our
Check. When you have two little kids with you this can create a problem. Overall we will come back because we love the food here but hopefully to better service next time.
First time there and we went for dinner. Server was very helpful. I had the price fixed dinner of a delicious Casear Salad, the best salmon I ever had - crispy skin that they said they seared and a yummy dessert. It was not at all crowded on Labor Day at 6 pm. Good value on the price fixed and great food!
Celebrating milestone birthdays is definitely something you can do at Sarabeth's! In town for a girls trip, we loved the idea of brunch in NYC and this is the place to go. We loved the muffin basket and appreciated the wide variety of menu items, so we all got to try things from each other's plate! My personal favorite was the french toast, but also really enjoyed the spinach and goat cheese omelette. We topped it all off with mimosas and had a great time in such a great intimate space!
Sarabeths is a perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This trip we did brunch and were not disappointed. We had kids from 11-15 and four adults and everyone found something they were excited about! The French toast was a hit for the younger group and omelets were a treat for the adults!!’ The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating! Will definitely be back!!
Sarabeth’s never disappoints. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding & the atmosphere was quite pleasant. The city is quiet for Labor Day Weekend & we took advantage but even when it’s crowded the staff at Sarabeth’s always does its best to accomodate people. I love it.
Great scrambled eggs and great baked goods but this particular outpost is very scruffy, not immaculate, rather shockingly rough.
I ordered a chicken salad. After eating half of the dish, I found most of the chicken strips covered by the salad were undercooked and almost rare. I asked for another one and to make the chicken cooked completely this time. However, I still found some pink spots on the chicken strips that were stuck together. I doubt there's anybody that checks the quality of food before they serve them. I would not go back or recommend this location to anyone.
They were super accommodating and food was delicious!
The breakfast was good in general and the ambience was fascinating.
Best breakfast restaurant! Portions are very generous and soooo yummy! A little expensive but a beautiful restaurant with excellent food! Will definitely return!
Had brunch before a day at The Met. Our food was simply delicious (lox omelette, granola, fresh fruit). Service was prompt and courteous. After we ate we took a lovely stroll along the park to The Met, a short 10 minute walk.
The perfect spot for 3 friends to catch up. Delicious food, respectful service, and best of all, we could hear each other without straining.
Excellent restaurant! The place might need some renovations! Best!
Our server was wonderful and patient and it was a beautiful breakfast - cannot wait to go again!
Brilliant as always. Sarabeth’s doesn’t disappoint. The restaurant is most popular as a brunch place but dinner is just as pleasant.
Extremely quiet for a Friday night dinner, but great for us as the waiter was very attentive to us. We were a bit worried that perhaps it wasn't a good restaurant, but the food was beautifully presented and very tasty. The upper East side folks must be away for the weekend!
Always good , food is consistently good.
We went early so everyone was very attentive. The portion was smaller than I expected for the price.
Great service and amazing food
I think for the price, there are many other options in NYC. We picked Sarabeth because of a last minute meeting nearby. The service was mediocre, really no follow up on if we needed more water or tea. The food was also mediocre. The berry bowl didn't seem super fresh for the price it was. Overall, not that impressed.
We enjoyed this brunch. Omelette were delicious. Service was fine and not rushed.
The food was amazing! I’d definitely go back.
I absolutely loved my meal! Delicious from beginning to end.
End of a shift. Lots of waiting. Getting attention (menus, food, water) took work.
Love the lemon ricotta pancakes. Coffee wonderful. Overall.experience always great!
Took the parents out for brunch. We had a wonderful time but the prices have really gone up a lot.
Wonderful menu and lovely ambience, as long as you aren't in a hurry.
Everything was great!
Having eaten breakfast here years ago which was a great experience then, we were a bit disappointed with the quality of the food now. Overall it was okay, but defenitely not as great as back then. Eggs were slightly overcooked ( scrambled), and none of our dishes were really super tasty as if quality of ingredients could be better. Service was fine, not oustanding and it was very loud, not good aucoustics to listen to everybody at our table of five. So sorry to say we were disappointed this time.
Cute restaurant in charming upper east side neighborhood. Enjoyed a relaxing Sunday breakfast that was super yummy
We ordered breakfast Eggs, pancakes, sausage. All our food came out perfect! Service was terrific! My only wish is that the cappuccino was bigger.
Very accommodating when we turned out to be 8 instead of 6. Love the atmosphere. No loud music!!! Usually fabulous service but a little less so this time, maybe because we were upstairs away from main room and a big group. The house pino is awful. The food is excellent. Good children’s menu
I have been going to Sarabeth's for years and could not believe how bad the service was. The waiter ignored us and when I got up and asked for something, he promptly forgot and never delivered. Very disappointing.
