The food was good but too pricey for the value. Our waitress was rude.
Made reservation and asked for a table outside but when arrived restaurant said outside seating is separate reservation. I could have been informed before I arrived
Excellent breakfast but expensive. $85 for 2 without alcohol. Central Park location more expensive than other Sarabeth's locations. Ricotta pancakes were terrific. Portions filling.
Service was good and Sarabeth’s has a delicious bread basket but waiter did not ask if we wanted it. We had to ask for it. Otherwise we had a very good dinner.
Sarabeth is consistent and our go to breakfast/brunch location when we stay close to Central Park. It can get a little crowded but has a cozy vibrant feel with good food.
Everything was superb at our breakfast! The ambiance, service, and food were all divine!
Loved Sarabeths. The French toast is the best I have ever had. The lemon ricotta pancakes were good to, but the French toast was amazing. I would share it and add a side of bacon. That is enough food for two. Their fresh juice was delish too. The waffle was a little dry and not my favorite.
We had a reservation but were rushed through from start to finish. The meal was below average quality and it was all very overpriced. We were in the back corner of the restaurant so didn't even have a good view. I'm really not sure what the hype is all about.
Wonderful!!! Food was amazing!
I absolutely love this place! It is so charming, as are the other Sarabeth's locations. This location is directly across the street from Central Park. Our server was very engaging, down to earth, and, efficient. My sister & I enjoyed the Cedar River steak and truffle french fries...delicious! The salad (house, I believe) was, also, very very good (dressing is amazing...Sherry Shallot). My mother enjoyed the crab cake & french fries. She really enjoyed it. I tasted the crab cake...it, too, was delicious. The prices are reasonable (for NYC)
Nice breakfast menu, excellent coffee! Eggs Benedict were just right!
I absolutely LOVE the service at Sarabeth’s! You never have to ask for more water (although we did ask for refills on soda). Great ambiance etc. it did get pretty loud in there and was more difficult to talk as the restaurant filled up. All the food was great. The only thing very few of us cared for was the truffle fries. It would be helpful if the waiter clarifies that a dish comes with truffle fries versus regular fries so they are aware of this difference. But thanks for a great meal!! 😊
Pre theatre dinner. Wait staff attentive. Food done right and flavorful. Quiet attractive surroundings. Always a favorite.
Always a treat to eat at Serendipity 3
We had brunch there for my birthday. The two of us split crab cake Benedict, and then split the lemon ricotta pancakes. Everything was delicious! It is always a treat there.
We had brunch on a Tuesday AM during the height of graduation season. Make a reservation! You will not be seated until your entire party is present. The omelettes
and frittata were delicious. Everything except the bread is ala carte. And you get one selection of bread/muffin with your entree so order the bread basket if you want to sample. The coffee is good and refilled often! The berry bowl was a good size, but give us the BEST for this price. The scone was probably the best I have had outside of the U.K. The potatoes are forgettable. Worth the experience once.
My last few visits to Sarabeth were below expectations, but I was very satisfied with this visit. The service and food were great.
A perfect spot for brunch. Food is top notch. Green and white eggs were creamy and delicious.
The hostess outside was very rude and unprofessional, not just with us but other costumers while asking or waiting for their tables.
The food was terrible we both got sick after eating benedict eggs, and very expensive for a lame breakfast, we paid 80 dlls.
Very nice service with coffee flat rate and unlimited water. Great food. Perfect start in the day.
Enjoyable. Service was excellent.
The staff was so nice and pleasant. The food was the best so delicious and came out on time. I was so please with my experience that I had to book to come back for my birthday!
We have always enjoyed Sarabeth's but this time we were very disappointed starting with the hostess desk to the food. We waited in line to get to the hostess desk to be told very curtly that we were past the 15 minute hold for the reservation. The young man took no consideration that there was a line out to the sidewalk and we had to insist on keeping our table...of which there were many.
The food and coffee were then served to the table lukewarm...not our best breakfast there...the restaurant had plenty of empty tables as it was the Saturday before Mother's Day. Not sure what the problem was but will most likely never go back.
Great food and fast service. The 8:00 am line should be divided between walk ups and reservations and reservations should be seated first. I
Pretty bland interior. Needs some art.
We went for dessert after dinner. The flight of ice cream sandwiches was surprisingly large and would be a great sharing item if you can agree who gets which sandwich! I had the smore in a jar. The chocolate pudding at the bottom was very nice but I expected housemade marshamallow - not store bought mini marshmallows.
Wonderful place- we went twice in one weekend. Sophisticated, removed from the hustle and bustle, delicious. Great place to go with friend and parents alike!
Very good, a little pricey.
Husband loved the piccata pancakes or they may have been called lemon pancakes. I had the salmon and it was OK. We have been here before when in NYC. We have friends that rave about it. We thought it was OK, not great. It was better when we were here a couple of years ago.
Except for the limited space you have at the table -you basically dine with your neighbor, whether you like it or not- consistency is key here. Never changes. You always know what to expect.
The food was good but not exceptional. It is overpriced for what you get. It isn't worth it for me to pay high price for breakfast served mostly a la carte.
I like the Wales hotel and Amsterdam Ave locations better-they are more homey. I understand that the Central Park location has to have a different ambiance, but it is too sleek for me
Food was great. Very touristy... and that’s fine, is why they are there. Very crowded, rude people with HUGE baby strollers pushing through. They could use a car park for those things.
I love going to Sarabeths. It's consistently good. My only wish is that when you make a reservation at the Central Park South location, that you can ask for the outside. That is separate from reservations which is frustrating when you are going on your lunch hour. You can't take a chance not making a reservation because of the time restraint and the outside is first come, first serve.
Booked this following the reviews and we were very pleased we did, big queues to get in and I can see why.
Great location, staff and breakfast. Fabulous American menu choices, amazing pancakes followed by a much needed walk around central park.
Can’t believe there’s only one bathroom
I had the Cobb salad and a side of meatballs. Both excellent. The meatballs were entree size. Ingredients were fresh. Great location on Central Park south. Reasonably priced.
The food is always great at Sarabeth’s, but the space itself is in desperate need of renovation.
We had a wonderful birthday celebration dinner at Sarabeth's on Central Park South. We sat at an outdoor table for two across from Central Park. We both ordered the prix-fixe dinner (salmon, which was delicious). Table service was impeccable. The host was a little brusque (with us, and we noticed, with others as well), but we overlooked this due to the amazing attention from the wait staff. Food is fresh, well-prepared and beautifully presented. Highly recommended.
Always a fantastic experience
Holidays with my hubby. We’re from Argentina and came for a couple of days. Really enjoy the breakfast in Sarahbeth
