The Sarabeth lobster roll is the best in town! The eggs Benedict are also outstanding! Want a good lunch or brunch? This is the place to go to!
Second time here and both times it was GREAT!
Cold out but winter door locked until just after opening. A friendly place would have let us get out if cold at least in vestibule if not reception. Food ok, not great and not reasonably priced.
Solid restaurant. Good food. Very nice atmosphere.
Our friend recommended us for the best egg Benedict in town. The service staff -Lance was so nice and friendly. He can speak a little of Thai and that really impressed us :)
Really expected more after hearing good things and was disappointed. Food was mediocre and overpriced and the ambiance was lackluster.
Excellent lunch and dessert. Very elegant environment. Very nice waiter too. Good turkey burger. Enjoyed the creme brûlée too.
the food used to be better
Very disappointed. Coffee cold. Inattentive service. Omelet brought to table on a plate nothing accompanied omelet not lettuce or tomato. Had to ask several times for coffee refill. Won’t be heading back there. Been there before and similar experience but not as bad. Def expected better.
Very Good Food
Highly recommended 👌🏼🇺🇸
I love Sarabeth's. Visit every time I come to NYC. Always get something different and I've never had a bad meal - steak, seafood, salad - creme brûlée - it's all great. Service is excellent.
Thank you so much for your kind review! We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Just a great overall dining experience. Wonderful ambiance, service, and meal that rounded out our holiday celebration. Would highly recommend it!
Very underwhelmed with avocado toast.
English muffins very weird
Tables too close to each other
Not easy to walk through to the back since too many tables and corridors to narrow
Two friends and I had brunch there. Error in delivering our order was cleared up relatively quickly. I think it was so noisy server did not understand the order. Great effort and great food!
The service was too bad
Service was good. Food was flavorful. It was loud. Bathroom line was long. It took a bit to get water refills.
lovely ambiance, spectacular food, amazing service, not cheap but worth every dollar
We had a fantastic time , wonderful service, and great food.
The staff was brilliant, respectful and spot on with allowing us to eat yet always being close to assist if we needed anything! Great place, food and experience!
The waiter was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He assisted with our food choices and he was spot on!
Never dine again. They are tend to cheat the customers with ice cream and side dishes as if those were already included. You may find very uncomfortable to know how they do business.
Tourist, 1st time here. Service was excellent, from front door to when we left. Food was delicious, though overpriced, but that's probably just NYC. We went for dinner and would go again to try breakfast.
It was a very nice restaurant. Unfortunately we sat next to a family of 9 that was extremely loud. Even to the point of singing. It was very disturbing.
Our reserved table was not ready when we arrived on time. Service was slow. We had to ask for spoons for our soup and then we received teaspoons instead of soup spoons. The salmon was overdone and didn’t have the sauce it described on the menu. We were served tap water and CHARGED for it without being told. A refill water pitcher was brought to us without us needing or asking for it and we never touched the second pitcher. Not only were we CHARGED for the first, BUT also for the SECOND unopened pitcher. There was only one restroom for everyone and although it was well stocked with TP, the restroom was FILTHY! Definitely won’t be repeating a visit here. Also, I’m not an idiot. I don’t need review hints to express my opinion.
I took my daughter here for dinner on Christmas Day and we both enjoyed it immensely. The kids menu was great, staff friendly and service prompt. We would definitely visit again when next in NYC.
A true New York experience with great food, friendly service and a vibrant atmosphere.
Excellent option for an excellent Christmas Eve dinner.
Lovely restaurant. Elegant atmosphere, wonderful service, great food.
Great and attentive service, lovely and engaging staff, very good food. The front-of house manager, Nicholas, was terrific. Everyone was grand, even with our table of three kids.
We will return on our next trip.
Restaurant staff was very considerate we ate at 10:30, did not feel rushed even though we were only patrons eating
Romantic atmosphere with superb service and excellent food!
The service and the food were perfection.
Excelente lugar para comer
I was really disappointed in our meal. I made reservations months in advance, was seated by the kitchen at a table where on person was in a walk way and constantly getting bumped by people/staff. We were moved to the front of the restaurant where we had to dine with our coats on because it was freezing from the front door opening and crowds of people around our table waiting to sit, watching us eat. It was terrible and we won’t be back.
Best breakfast place in New York City.
Reservation, on time. Settled first time in the middle of the busiest inter section in the whole restaurant, at the entrance of the dining room, a back alley way and the kitchen door. VERY BUSY for a 4 Top Squeezed In! Ask to moved. Was placed in the back alley .... Ok ?? ...
I will say that the service was Excellent and the price fixe meals were also Excellent. They included soup( pumpkin/ squash) or salad , Great citrus vinaigrette . Entree’s skirt steak ( ordered Med but was a little overcooked) and Pan Seared Salmon w white cauliflower Excellent!
Also included desert either Chocolate mousse cake or Creme Brûlée .
Felt a little Rushed .. through out...
Restroom was filthy.... if a Class A + Restaurant on Central Park can’t even keep that clean I question the Kitchen....
For me it was just an average experience compared to other restaurants we visited that week. Bubbys Highline as an example is streets ahead.
Always our favorite restaurant for breakfast. I suggest that you always have reservations when dining here so that you do not have to wait for a table! Service was excellent and the food was delicious as always!
Overall great experience. Food is excellent as is service. Be prepared to spend $40 per person for breakfast before tip. Also it’s in a great location near Central Park
