Delicious!!! The crab guacamole was amazing and that’s saying something since we are from SouthEast Texas!! We also had the ahi tuna and split the crab spaghetti. I️t was all delicious! All partnered with some Manhattans made the evening perfect!!!

Ate at Sarabeth's for a lovely evening dinner before going to the opera. A great restaurant to visit after exploring Central Park. Great food and service!

Great and beautiful service, average food, very expensive. Overall, highly overrated. Just average. Our 18 year old left half of his waffle. That never happens.

A bad server didn’t stop us from thoroughly enjoying Sarabeth’s. They are reliable for yummy pancakes (recommend the lemon ricotta) and breads. If we had a better server, this might have been a 10/10 meal for us.

Becoming more of a tourist place... business is great but too busy for someone used to the old days... Food and Service has moved down scale... Like the on Second Avenue that has closed...But this is okay for out of town guest... they have a broad offering.

We were very pleased with Sarabeth's, and it was just a short walk from our hotel and right across the street from the the south end of Central park. Even on a Saturday night in November, we were able to get a table for 2 with no wait. The menu was incredible, with some creative appetizers and entree specials. The sides were amazing as well, each with their own twist by the chef on a traditional side. The butternut squash au gratin was one of the best sides we've ever had, and went perfectly with the entree. Thanks for a wonderful ending to our NYC trip!

Went for breakfast on a Saturday and the place was packed. Great place to dine, but I definitely recommend getting a reservation. We were seated within five minutes while others waited for well over 30 minutes.

We were entertaining visitors from California and it was great to be able to hear ourselves talk! Sarabeth's is an oasis of civilization in a busy part of Manhattan. We have dined there several times recently. The food is very good, a bit on the pricey side but not outrageous by Manhattan standards. The bill was about $200 for two couples, each couple shared an appetizer and only one glass of wine was ordered, no dessert, two coffees. I was a bit surprised to see a $9 charge for "unlimited sparkling water" which was served from a refillable bottle (not a name brand) so I thought that was a bit much as no charge was mentioned up front.

We celebrated a family birthday at Sarabeth's - everyone was happy with the food (octopus appetizer, hangar steak and salmon entrees and peach and blueberry tart for dessert). Portions were generous and side dishes were tasty. There was a good selection of wine by the glass. Service was excellent without being "hovering."

My Mom and I had breakfast here on the 3rd day of our first trip to NYC. Sarabeth's was great - I could see it as a standard for me if I lived in NYC. The meal was great - frittata was light and perfect. The server lacked in personality - but we met some great ladies sitting next to us who livened up the morning! Definitely recommend.

Eggshells in my eggs benedict. Waiter did not addess it appropriately. Received our bill and I had to ask him if he spoke to a manager about the matter. Finally was addressed at my urging.
This place was a favourite—no longer. There has been a marked decline.

We were five people and the bill for brunch came to $218 before tip. That's high when there wasn't any alcohol involved! The main courses (omelette, caesar salad, quinoa tuna, hamburger, and adult grill cheese) were tasty. It's the prices that have gotten higher than I remember -- $10.50 for fresh squeezed juice (yes it was a big glass but still kind of pricey) and to charge $3.00 per person for unlimited sparkling when we probably only drank the equivalent of one bottle was also high, $7.50 for a double expresso? While I used to meet friends I'm not racing back.

That was an extreme disappointment. Incredibly expensive. The lemon ricotta pancakes were good but would have been happy with a smaller portion for a much lower price. I expected a more spacious interior with a good atmosphere. It was crowded, noisy, and had no atmosphere. Terrible disappointment and did not meet our expectations at all. It was a $60 meal for pancakes and French toast - and we drank water! When you factor in the total lack of atmosphere, it was a complete rip-off.

Go to The Palm for the same price at The Plaza Hotel a few doors down. Gorgeous!

Overpriced with bad food. Orange juice at $9 wasnt freshly squeezed. Pancakes with strawberries $21...only 3 whole strawberries cut in little pieces. Waiters had a sense of entitlement. Shame, as the ambiance was good...and the locals rave about it.

The staff is attentive and helpful. The Four flower juice was delicious. I had the eggs benedict and was not really impressed by it. The pumpkin waffle was a little dry in our opinion. My husband had the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and he really enjoyed his meal. The restaurant has great reviews and it was full so maybe we just didn't try the right things on the menu. However, we did enjoy our breakfast much more at the nearby Petrossian Boutique & Cafe that is nearby.
