Our ”go to. for a casual, easy, and delicious meal. Ambiance is always wonderful and the staff friendly
Great service and food
It was a good late lunch
I expect more out of a restaurant at that price point at Central Park.
Was really lovely, as always. Perfect service, everyone is so friendly and helpful. ... It’s that we were sat closer to the front door with loads of people waiting to be seated so it made it really loud. I was sat on the side with the partition and people sat waiting kept knocking it and then knocking into me. Maybe put a screen up just to divide it a bit. It does kind of ruin the atmosphere.
Terrible host, disorganized seating; open corner table was “ reserved for regulars” ( then seated a clearly tourist couple after 15 minutes); huge crowd at the entrance door next to our table ; constant cold air blowing in bec of open door due to the crowd at the entrance; sat through lunch in cost and scarf; terrible noise due to standing crowd waiting for tables while several tables stood empty for prolonged times. New host displays bad attitude and is ineffective. The food was mediocre in this overpriced tourist trap. Go elsewhere.
Excellent all around. Lovely!! Excellent food and drink!!!
The pot pie is one of my very favorites, however, this time it came out so incredibly HOT, I had to wait quite a while to eat it and when I did, it still burned my tongue. I’m not sure how to solve the problem, but it was almost inedible it was so piping hot.
Also, we had to wait quite some time for our waiter to return after our meal was over.
Overpriced Service rushed. Not as enjoyable as last visit. Food quality has gone down.
The food was excellent and the atmosphere even better. Located across the street from Central Park it was a dream location!
Great place to eat. We have gone every year for the past 10 years twice that week. Location is good , service very good and the food is very good. The price is high for a breakfast meal even without a drink.
Sarabeth's at Central Park South is a must-do to a itinerary that dreams of experiencing that slightly-fancy, a bit over-indulgent, pretend-I-live-like-this-all-the time New York vibe. The location can't be beat; just walk across the street after brunch and take a stroll through Central Park.
I enjoyed a delicious cappuccino and the lemon-ricotta pancakes, lined with blackberries and dusted with powdered sugar... and they were everything I hoped for and more.
Normally, I wouldn't dream of paying $24 for a stack of pancakes, but something about Sarabeth's and that special New York experience makes it okay. Enjoy the splurge.
La comida buena pero nada especial, muy bien ubicado enfrente del Central Park, pero muy caro para lo que es
Excellent location in front of Central Park. Food is excellent for any meal. Service is very good, attentive yet not disruptive.
My chicken was very undercooked--a health hazard and one of the managers was very rude and inconsiderate. When a customer is served undercooked chicken the least the manager can do is comp the dish. An embarassment for me to even ask for this to be done!
A little pricey but worth it tbh
Everything was great till we got back to our hotel. Felt sick, almost got sick. Both my wife an I
Wonderful dinner. Great service. Delicious food.
Asked for a medium steak, received well done, waited 20 minutes for a new one and it was well done again. Waiter said sorry and walked away
The food was good, but not great. I got the lemon ricotta pancakes. The flavor was decent, but the texture was dry. Also plate presentation was very average for the price. We ate at 1P on a Friday. The restaurant was so loud that we could not carry a conversation. The bright spot of our meal was the cocktails. Amazing and unique flavors!! With so many amazing food options in Manhattan... I would skip Sarabeth’s if you are a true foodie.
Breakfast and lunch at SaraBeths’s is a must while in NYC! Ask for a table in the front room overlooking Central Park. It’s worth any extra wait! Our favorites include the Farmer’s Omelet with a side of breakfast potatoes. Lunch favorites include the hamburger, the tuna sandwich, the grilled chicken.
Love it. One of my favorite spots in NYC. With Gratitude...
As always breakfast was wonderful. French toast and short rib hash. Love this place.
Total rip off, paid 100 bucks for eggs benedict (2 persons), coffee and orange juice. Nothing wrong with service although didn’t appreciate being seated at noisy and busy table with draft near entrance despite having booked in advance and there being plenty of empty seats in rear. Ok to experience once but won’t be going back.
Outstanding food with terrific service. My wife and I enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner there this year and were immensely impressed. We will definitely be back the next time we are in NYC.
Excellent restaurant, the owner salute us and that made a difference.
My wife and I enjoyed our first experience with you last year. This year’s experience was a total disappointment. The service staff rushed our courses throughout the meal, despite me requesting ample time between courses. Literally, we we were still eating our appetizers when the salad course came out. I refused the salads. Furthermore, the service staff lurked about throughout each course hoping we would be done. Unfortunately, we will not return next Thanksgiving. We love Sarabeth’s but your Thanksgiving method of “rushing” is not for us. Thank you, THOMAS VANGHELE.
My guests were seated ahead of me, but when I arrived was told there was no reservation under my name. Finally straightened it out, no apology from staff.
Turkey dried out, rest of meal unextraordinary.
Waiters would not yield when you tried to pass by them.
The guacamole crab dip with homemade chips was absolutely the best I have ever had.
The creamy tomato soup was also amazing but my favorite was the sugar cookies so wonderful and all great ingredients.
The eggs benedict was great and I was surprised that it came with a salad as a side, but it was excellent - coffee was constantly refilled and the kids pancakes topped with just enough powdered sugar were enjoyed by my daughter.
Great breakfast and lunch spot, always consistent great food!!
Lovely lunch. Very filling! I had the farmers omelette with a pumpkin muffin, my daughter had the burger and my husband the crabcake sandwich – all delicious!
Staff friendly and efficient. The restaurant was busy, but not exceptionally noisy. Would definitely go back.
Nice menu, lovely rooms, wonderful staff! A good place for brunch and lunch! Great spot, right across from Central Park.
got probably the worst table in the whole entire restaurant right next to the back door extremely unappealing
I enjoyed the food, but the value compared to other Sarabeth’s in NYC wasn’t great. Much more expensive.

Amazing wait staff, great food and wine. Great place to catch up with friends and dine.
