A Perfect New York Welcome Breakfast at Sarabeth’s After a long overnight flight with two kids in tow, we were in desperate need of a comforting breakfast — and Sarabeth’s at Central Park South delivered exactly that and more. We arrived with high hopes (and hungry bellies), and the warm, classic NYC brunch vibe of Sarabeth’s instantly made us feel welcome. The staff were kind and attentive, even with our little ones running on zero sleep and 100% curiosity. We started our breakfast with the Avocado Benedict — perfectly poached eggs on a fluffy English muffin, creamy avocado, and a touch of heat from the tomato-jalapeño jam. It was rich, fresh, and flavorful without being too heavy. The Spinach & Goat Cheese Omelette was another win: light, fluffy, and filled with tangy cheese and vibrant greens — a perfect healthy yet satisfying dish. For our kids, breakfast became a morning adventure. The Child French Toast was golden, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside — exactly how it should be — with just enough sweetness to make our 7-year-old smile. The biggest surprise? The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Soft, citrusy, and just sweet enough — even we adults stole a few bites (okay, more than a few!). you can feel the New York energy while still enjoying a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. This was the perfect first meal in the city — comforting, high-quality food in a beautiful location with service that genuinely cares. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking to ease into New York with a perfect plate and a smile.

I went to Sarabeth’s for lunch. Food was delicious, service was on point, and a great location. The only downside is it’s pricey.

The perfect brunch experience prior to a stroll in Central Park. We chose to eat outside that morning and enjoyed the fare while people watching. Exceptional service and lovely atmosphere for a very fair price in a normally expensive area.

The service was extremely poor. The waiter did not get to us right away, then took 1/2 before taking our order. We were not offered deserts or coffee and by the time we ordered he said the kitchen was closed. Very poor service and the food was mot great.

Terrible experience. Our waitress was inattentive. Dined there 3 years ago when I was in town and it was very enjoyable, this has certainly gone downhill since. The food was terrible as well. We will not be returning

I haven't been to Sarabeth's in quite a while. I was pleasantly surprised. The baby beet salad was quite good. My seared grouper was excellent. An very nice sancerre by the glass. The crab cake sandwich, however, was flavorless. Still it was a very good experience. Excellent service and a quiet room. Granted, we were there early before a Carnegie Hall performance. As we were leaving more people with children were arriving. We will add it in to our pre performance rotation.

After an unexpectedly long stop at the Apple Store, my boyfriend and I were absolutely starving—and Sarabeth’s Central Park South came through in the best way possible. Despite making a last-minute reservation for 9:30 PM, they were able to accommodate us with no issue. Our waiter, Faisal, was incredibly kind and attentive—he made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to take care of us. He even turned the espresso machine back on after hours so we could enjoy a nice espresso to end our meal—such a thoughtful gesture. The highlight? The tomato soup and the adult grilled cheese. Hands down, the best I’ve ever had in my life. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly comforting—exactly what we needed after a long day. With cozy ambiance, exceptional service, and unforgettable food, Sarabeth’s is now firmly on our go-to list. We’ll definitely be back!
