Sapporo Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
This my and my SO's third visit to Sapporo, and they continue to impress. Even though our OT reservation was for 7:45 they sat us at 7:30. Service was very attentive, and the food continues to be excellent. I'm definitely recommending this place to my friends in the area. :)
The server was in a hurry to let us go. No smile on his face. We were in there to have a good dinner but the server was so tired and un -interested that, after our main course, he brought our bill to the table... without even asking if we wanted to have dessert, etc.
Our son (20 months) was with us -- the server didnt even care to bring a crayon drawing pages for him nor did he bring a capped cup for water...
Will not go again...
went Valentines day during a snow storm, food was great staff were very friendly, Menu clearly states what is gluten free which is a huge bonus due to my wife's allergy. the sushami is a bit expensive for the amount you get, but overall it was a nice night out
We have enjoyed the Sapporo many times. Previously I had signed up for their EM communications. I was pleased to receive a Birthday recognition EM...free entre. Anything on the menu. How can you beat FREE, and so good. Jasmine took great care of us, as always, and it was a tasty salmon dish which felt the probes of my chop sticks. We'll be back soon!
This is my second time at Sapporo, having been with my date the weekend before. We were seated in the same area as last time and even had the same server. Orders were taken and served properly. I continued my exploration of Korean cuisine with the Kimchi stew, and my date had a kimchi rice dish. Both the drinks and food were fantastic. I will definitely be going back for further exploration!
We are regulars here. So many delicious choices for sushi, but the favorites are the Hawaiian Roll and the Orange Crush. If you have a big appetite, the Avocado Ball, served with tortilla chips, will put a dept in any hunger pangs. Also tasty: the appetizer combo, which is fried things served in a large paper cone. Bulgogi us topnotch tender and flavorful, served with a Korean vegetable tray (which varies, but usually includes kimchee and cucumber salad. Great staff, too. Love Sapporo.
We had a reservation, but still waited about 10 minutes for a table. The food and service were great. We stuck with sushi. Korean is much spicier than Japanese! It was very friendly with tame rolls and some fun and exciting ones, too. The wine selection wasn't great, but our waitress was.
Great bartender. Monthly specials are always original - check the board over the sushi bar because sometimes the servers forget to mention them. The combination of Korean and sushi provides a surprising variety. The kitchen staying open until 10 on weeknights is a plus in Westborough. Not much is open that late.
My husband and I have driven by Sapporo quite a few times and finally decided to give it a try. We wanted to try the tableside barbecue so made reservations as those tables are limited. The barbecue is built right into the table and the server did the cooking right there. We ordered rib eye and pork and were able to share. The portions were great and the food was delicious!
I've been to Sapporo several times. I'm never disappointed. Their drink and wine list is very good. Their menu is outstanding. Many types of food to suit all palates. I am a vegetarian but went with my husband and our friend both of whom are self described meat-atarians. There was something for everyone. No one left hungry or dissatisfied.
I am impressed by the breadth and depth of the dinner menu at Sapporo. I cannot recall another Korean restaurant that has such a large and diverse dinner menu (6 pages), not including the sushi menu. Most importantly, everything is delicious and perfectly prepared. You will not be disappointed by anything.
Lots of options for delicious Korean dishes done vegetarian and Paleo options. Phenomenal sushi and great drinks. What a friendly place with a great atmosphere. My favorite is paleo bipmbop with chicken. My husband loves the crispy tuna sushi and pork bulgogi.
My first time dining at this neighborhood gem of a restaurant. I loved the greeting, the atmosphere, the service and of course, the crowned jewel - the food! I eat a Paleo diet and they had a Paleo menu which was awesome. Even if they didn't have that special menu, the choices for my tastes were abundant. The different flavors, the huge portions and just the overall experience was really outstanding and I can't wait to go back again. Thank you Sapporo!
There are lots of options in the area, but Sapporo clearly holds a place in the top three. The food is simply impeccable, the atmosphere is lively and open, and the service fantastic. Our server, Sophia, was engaging, attentive and happy we were joining her for dinner.
Overall Sapporo shines.
Our first time to Sapporo. Went there after reading the online reviews for a family dinner. The food is excellent, our waiter Spencer was awesome. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, Bibim Bap, Nabi Yake Udon and Je Yuk Bokkum. The Korean side dishes were awesome too. Great food, great ambience and great service. We will definitely be back.
we sat at a habachi table. it was weird that the server put the food on the grill and had to come back and check it.
what was terrible was that the one person who did not have the bbq - didnt get her meal until after everyone else had finished their dinner and i got up out of frustration because we had asked for her dinner 4 times!
