Best Italian in Miami!!! Service is wonderful and you are always made to feel welcome!
Just coming in a this restaurant is already a very pleasant experience. The way one is greeted makes you feel welcome and one is assured of a nice dining experience. The food is outstanding, the pasta is fresh and perfectly cooked, and the seafood is expertly prepared. The service is down to earth, friendly but not overwhelmingly so. They don't greet you saying, "Hi, my name is So-and-so and I will be your server today." That is one of my biggest pet peeves in the restaurant industry in the USA. The only problem is that it is very pricey; however, the portions are big enough to share and to bring home leftovers.
The food was very delayed that day
Terrific food. Terrible service. Our waiter abandoned us halfway through our meal never to be seen again. After 45 minutes of waiting to order dessert the bus boy tried his best to take care of us. We weren’t the only table abandoned.
This restaurant is always great. Food is amazing
I feel like I am in Italy
One of my favorites
I eat out five nights a week of more at every high end restaurant in Miami so I know my food.
Close quarters and noisy. Service was surprisingly slow even when not busy upon opening at 6 pm, Otherwise the food and wine were excellent.
Delicious food, excellent service, worth every penny!
This is a small, cozy italian restaurant in Grand with good parking options including valet at $8.00. The service is friendly and adequate but I wouldn't say outstanding. The food, though, was really, really good and they will accommodate special diet needs. They make their own pasta from scratch and import from Italy a lot of their ingredients. The portions are adequate. They do not have full bar: just wine and limited beer options. Because it is so small -maybe 10-12 tables- the noise level is quite high. Overall, I would definitely go back. If you do, make sure to make reservations.
I have always wanted to go to this restaurant. it did not disappoint. food good the greeter was great. we were seated quickly the waiters and waitresses were great place is clean bathrooms clean décor good
lovely place well done
The service here is A+! Entering the restaurant you're greeted with friendly smiles and a very attentive staff. We ordered the Ravioli di Aragosta (light and tasty) and the Truffle pasta that was DeLiCiouS!
I went out for a casual dinner with my son who wanted to try the truffle spaghetti.
My son took the famous Cacio et Pepe truffle spaghetti dish served in a Parmesan bowl. The portion was pretty small and not as tasty as one would expect. The seafood pasta that I had was OK, but again not really tasteful. Felt like rushed. The service was OK with a very close style sitting arrangement which make the place pretty noisy. We left in less than an hour paying $100 for 2 pasta dishes and 1 glass of white wine.. I am not planning in going back to this restaurant. There are so many better choices.
By far the best Italian restaurant in south Florida. Best pasta, best fish best service!
Amazing restaurant, very unique flavors and excellent quality. A little pricey.
The service is good and the food also although I wouldn’t recommend the pasta with shrimp and pesto sauce. Too strong. The fritti calamari as an appetizer is good.
I enjoyed a small but wonderful family reunion made more special by the experience at Sapore. My nephew absolutely flipped over his seafood pasta! Gracious hospitality and impeccable service made our time there memorable.
Great food. Fast service although not the most friendly one. NOT like the usual "italian restaurants" that have always the same type of dishes. Pastas are a must!
Always is a pleasure to go.
Amazing pasta! Great staff! Best cheat meal ever :) Gracie!
Delicious!! All time favorite, truffle pasta in parmesan wheel is a must (not in the menu tho)
First time and overall a great place for Italian food In the Grove! Food, service and overall ambience was great for our last night on vacation! Memorable send-off. Would highly recommend.
The best food in Coconut Grove. I strongly suggest to include Caccio e Pepe in the menu. I dont know why its not included if its the star plate of the restaurant. The restaurant is small, sometimes uncomfortable if you are with kids and strollers.
The overall experience is incredible and the service is awesome. The waiters know everything about the menu, speak 2 languages and have good attitude
Outstanding. You feel like family here. Delicious fish specials of course. Try the John Dory if available
This is my go-to Italian
The ambience of the back room/patio was a little disappointing, but everything else was great.
Enjoy the Italian vibe. Love their cacio de Pepe and service. Last visit thought the fish pricing was a bit high considering the location or comparison to a Cipriani as pricing was similar. Overall enjoy going.
Really enjoyed the restaurant. Wine and food really nice and ambience perfect, great dinner!
The food was delicious. We ordered the grilled octopus, the pasta in the cheese wheel and the seafood pasta and everything was outstanding. Will definitely go back again.
Love the food, service and ambiance. Been there twice in one week.
Wonderful attentive staff serving the best Italian food. A must have anytime in Miami.
Ottimi piatti e sapori, ambientazione italiana e piacevole. Un po troppo caro.
By far best Cacio e pepe in Miami Dade area!! Great service. Angelo was great suggesting wines. Superb Italian wine selection. And to close a great evening, panna cotta was outstanding!! Looking forward to visit again
Cibo fantastico, attenzione al cliente super, staff accogliente, disponibile, servizio ottimo. Lo consiglio a tutti gli amanti del pesce e non. Ottima esperienza!!!!
Our first time here will definitely not be our last! Everything was just delicious!
I always love coming here! It doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside it is lovely. The food is all made fresh and phenomenal. Really classic Italian food. Service is always excellent even when they’re swamped.
The staff are friendly, the service was good, food came out timely, the place is a bit small so it gets noisy fast. The pasta in the pecorino cheese wheel with truffles was the best pasta I’ve ever had. Our calamari appetizer was practically unseasoned and the color was very pale, the upside being it wasn’t chewy or greasy. The fried veal steak was also unseasoned, dry, and not as tender as it you would expect for a $50 veal that came with a small salad of greens and a couple of potato slices. Panna cotta and tiramisu were both delicious.
Better cacicao e pepe than we had in Rome!
All the pasta we had was excellent as was the tiramisu. High quality food, definitely worth checking out!
Not what I expected based on previous reviews. I was excited to go there but left disappointed. The burrata nothing to rave about. My 8 year old did not like the spaghetti, I mean how can you messed up a plate of spaghetti. My food was the lobster spaghetti, again the lobster hard and chewy and my husband was a house special which was spaghetti that comes in a wheel of cheese, that one was ok but heavy in sauce. On the other hand, the wine was imported from Italy and that was excellent, we had 2 bottles. Will i return? No, thank you
Fantastic Italian meal. Some really special dishes you would only expect to find in proper italian restaurants. The sea urchin pasta was brilliant! Lovely service and setting. Definitely recommend
