This is our go to Mediterranean Restaurant. You can fill up on salad and appetizers if you want a less costly night out, or wonderful meats and fish with wine for a very reasonable price as well.
Sampler platter is amazing! The kebab is teleported from Tehran.. it's that good!!!
We met our friends there an
All of the food excellent.... try the combo appetizer, garlic shrimp appetizer and lamb. The flat bread is the best. Touria our server was terrific!! Will be back many times.
Uncooked food ! Expensive ! Not worth it !
$30 per person for bad food which I call it appetizer only !
We had a wonderful meal with terrific service. But we happened to visit there for lunch on an extremely hot day. The restaurant hd its fans going full tilt, but for some reason no AC. Thus, the dining room was very warm, and noticeably so. The room temp detracted from the overall experience.
Always very good and authentic Mediterranean food.
Average food and service .
We arrived and were asked if we wanted to eat outside; it was 97 degrees. We said no and were sent to a table inside where the temperature was 100 degrees. We left!
Awesome Greek Food! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Food was served hot and everything was delicious. We were celebrating a special occasion and they allowed us to bring our own cake and they supplied a knife, plates and utensils at no additional charge! This will continue to be a favorite restaurant of mine!
Great ambiance, so nice on the patio. Combo platter was fantastic. Entrees were ok. Nice casual dining.
Service was friendly and attentive. Food was fresh with a lot of selections. I would go there again.
Second visit. Again friendly, attentive service, tasty food and good prices.
This was our first time dining at Santorini and we are definitely returning! They make the best Greek Salads and the Lamb, Chicken and Filet Mignon Kebabs were so delicious and they give you generous portions too. They are located in a Shopping Complex called The Village which is less than a mile south of Downtown Danville. The plus side to this location is the parking with no problem finding a space to park. I'm so glad we found this wonderful casual Mediterranean Restaurant with the tastiest food around and with such reasonable prices.
We were absolutely delighted with our large meal at Santorini's. Everything about our evening was perfect! We will definitely be back soon.
Food is very good and the service is outstanding
We've been wanting to try for some time now and finally did as a last minute family meal on a Friday night. Glad we did! We love Greek and Mediterranean food and everything clicked here - the ambiance, the hummus, the Greek salad, the kebabs and rice. The waitress even brought over a pile of gyro shavings for us to try - delicious! It's not a super fancy, showcase kind of place but one that you would visit often in your neighborhood or as a hideaway spot on vacation. Definitely returning .
We went there to celebrate a party but I have been several times. We were definitely the loudest but it is usually more quiet. They were super accommodating with us being late and with our dietary needs. When we asked for feta on the french fries (not on the menu) they brought out an amazing dish. We will definitely have them make this for us every time. Everyone had a fabulous dinner and we will be back.
The food is fresh and our whole group loved the warm flat bread and dipping oil they bring out at the beginning. The service was attentive without being intrusive. It was pretty quiet but it was a week night...
We took friends who had never been there before and they will definitely go back. We like the home cooked food and have been there a few times.
Everyone greets you, ready to serv and very accommodating. Food was good (I was looking for a little spicier food). Food was a bit expensive. Choice of good drinks and deserts.
Waitress approached us at 8:00 and said, "are you ready to order the kitchen will be closing soon". They take reservations until 9:00. I was so uncomfortable and told her so.
Friendly service. Great food. Reasonable prices. When you're in the mood for some good Mediterranean food locally, this is a great place to go. They even had a guitarist playing music (light rock).
Good selections on menu and very tasty food. Live music, solo singer/guitar player was entertaining and appreciated.
Went for just appetizers. With their free bread and dip, ordered the hummus, garlic shrimp and a bottle of the Pino Grigio wine for less than $40, it was filling and great.
Santorini was excellent. The food, the wine, the service - it was all excellent.
We went to Santorini's to celebrate my adult daughter's birthday. The food was good but the service was not good. I booked a reservation through open table and told the restaurant that it was my daughter's birthday and then I told the hostess as well. I guess they don't do birthdays there. The food came quickly and it was tasty. Then we waited to have our water refilled and we waited to have our places cleared. A to go box was tossed on the table. We had to get the attention of the cashier to bring us our check. Our server never asked if we wanted anything else or if we needed our drinks refilled. Overall, I'd go back for the food but not for a celebration or for a sit-down dinner.
Excellent service and very good Greek food. Combo appetizer platter was outstanding. Both the chicken and lamb kabab entrees were very tasty. Owner made us feel very welcome. Will certainly return.
Great for my team dinner. The servers were professional and kind. We really felt welcomed!
We go to Santorini every time we have a special occasion. We like both the food and the ambience there.
What a great little Mediterranean food joint in Danville. We had a variety of dishes including hummus, Cesar salad, kebabs, and a gyro plate. Everything was really well prepared. Some of the pickiest people I know (my two kids) finished everything we put in front of them. The live music was a nice touch. We will be going back very soon.
There were quite a few other tables filled when we were there but for the life of me I cannot figure out why. The food was mediocre at best. I have been to Greece, loved the food there but was very disappointed with this place.
Almost every entree came with either rice or garlic mashed potatoes. Seemed very unauthentic to me.
I ordered the rack of lamb. It was cooked beautifully but was ruined with the Denny's style brown sauce they bathed the chops in. Seriously? My wife ordered the Filet and chicken. The chicken was the tastiest of the entree items. Juicy with a lot of flavor. The steak was seriously over cooked as was the vegetables.
Will not be going back.
If you are looking for this type of food, try Silk Road in Walnut Creek, much better.
Very enjoyable. Food served piping hot! Great meld of flavors.
I'm Greek. This place isn't authentic. I enjoyed the food, but it wasn't near what I was hoping for, which other Greek places have in the Bay.
We had reserved the table at 8 for 2 on Valentines day. When we arrived at 7:55, there was a long line. I talked to the manager and told him we have reservation. I had forgotten to add my kid on the reservation list. So he said since you need table for 3 you will have to wait. Fine.. we waited for 40 minutes. Then he said there is no place available for 3, can you accommodate with table for 2 with 3 chairs??? We were very hungry, so did not argue much. The server was pleasant, he took orders quickly. But another server arrived after 20 minutes and asked for order again. He said the previous server was on a break and not sure if our order was in. The food was okay! But the experience was frustrating. Never again.. especially on special occasions!
We had a reservation for 7:45PM for 6 people we end up seating for dinner at 9:00PM kind of rediculas but it was Valentines day and we were trying not to ruin our night... the restourant manager was nice by offering us ladies some free glass of wine and they gave us our desert order complementary which was nice as well! The only thing that i can complane was that since we were seated late obviously they were closing the restourant about one hour later or so... So we ended up to be the last ones in the resturant while still eating they started cleaning the restourant with some chemicals and the smell was unbarable at some point which kind of ruined my meal.... but over all we were happy with how they handled the situation with us waiting for more then an hour after having a reservation
The people are so friendly and the food was delicious! Great place to dine.
Good Mediterranean food, friendly service, great ambience.
We really liked the appetizer with 3 dips and the fresh hot bread was great. We didn't enjoy the main dishes. The falafel sandwich was dry and we felt the vegetables in the sandwich and falafel plate weren't appetizing.
