The food at Santina likewise takes inspiration from the Italian Riviera, pulsing with bright and refreshing flavors with a gluten-free menu that highlights lighter dishes focusing on vegetables and fish. Santina's signature cecina, spaghetti blue crab and bass agrigento showcase its ability to integrate Italian coastal cuisine with modern culinary sensibilities.
Santina was named one of the best restaurants of 2015 by The New York Times, GQ and Bon Appétit, amongst other publications.
At Santina, it’s always summer.

What Insiders Are Saying
There were exactly zero restaurants we enjoy hanging out in Meatpacking until Santina arrived. Now there’s one.
Santina is delicious but the music is WAY too loud for the space. The restaurant is housed inside a glass & metal shed with limited soundproofing. The staff takes itself very seriously, and our waitress could barely make eye contact. The food is delicious, which is why I go back when I am looking for a spot in that neighborhood.
This was the second time we dine here the first time they though our food away that we were takeout and had to reorder it the second time we where there they lost part of our order not good!!!
Service was awful
A bit pricey for brunch. The kitchen was backed up and someone dropped our food but our waitress/waiter was very nice about it and gave us free drinks and bread for our wait. I would return.
Happy! Loved the food and the service!!!
Beautiful restaurant, especially the lights. Wine overpriced which was a shame. Pumpkin carpaccio was mind blowingly good. Service good once she remembered to give us a menu, and was nudged to bring water. Overall a memorable meal.
Wine is extraordinarily expensive and pour is lousy.
It is a fun place but too expensive for what you receive.
Fabulous bloody Mary's to make you return simply for those. Followed by grilled sword fish and awesome fresh pasta Santina😘
It was absolutely wonderful.
Everything was lovely but it was very noisy. We had difficulty hearing each other.
The hostess wasn’t pleasant at all. The staff, although wasn’t super professional, was nice and friendly.
With all the great restaurants in NY, this would not be one I would recommend. The hostess directed us to the bar since we were 10 minutes early for the reservation but insisted we come back to her station on time. We did and the table was not ready. Back to the bar we went and had to ask her to come get us when the table was ready. She did not offer to do that. The food was good+ but not great. It was very crowded and the meal was RUSHED. I had to ask our server to slow it down. Uninspiring wine list.
Loved the starters and the dessert, the mains were just ok. Nothing to write home about. Attentive staff ad buzzy atmosphere.
This was my second time at Santina. It’s a really cool spot, and gluten free. The food options are unique and delicious. The French Toast is truly outstanding. Also try the zucchini muffins!
Good food and decent prices for NY. Happy that they take reservations. Many in that area do not.
The food was good but considering the prices, I am expecting my dinner to be delicious and memorable. Although the service was quite outstanding, I was disappointed when spending $18.00 for a glass of wine and it was only filled 1/3 of the glass which I thought was a little greedy.
Waitress was overworked and training someone. She was very slow and seemed annoyed when you asked for anything. She was visibly put out that we didn’t order alcoholic beverages.
It too 15 minutes for her to bring the dessert menu and an additional 10 to come back to see “what” we wanted.
Very disappointing, particularly when we had such a great experience when we came 2 years ago.
Love love the inventive delicious food & the ambience
Transports me back to the Amalfi coast, the service is
friendly, unpretentious and prompt. Plus I love the
Location next to the Whitney & the Highline!
Great location! Just around the corner to the Whitney. Drinks and food are delicious. The endless complimentary pancakes made of chick peas are to die for.
A bit too loud and crowded for late Sunday brunch, but the food and service are outstanding. Wonderful
The Sunday brunch menu was a huge disappointment. Many of their standby dishes (e.g., fried artichokes) are removed and the remaining selection just wasn't that exciting. The menu says they are a gluten-free restaurant, but we saw plenty of bread and sandwiches. Perhaps it was all gluten-free. Hard to say.
Beautiful restaurant but noise level way too high. Problem with orchestration of drink food delivery. We put in drink order and appetizers came before drinks and we had to ask for drinks to be served. We felt
Like our waitress rushed us to order dinner and we were there to dine for my daughters bday. Food was way overpriced for amount. I would not return since so many other options in the city!!!!
Great French toast!
Our waitress was excellent!
Food was delicious, service was awful. Had to ask 3 times to have dirty dishes and glasses cleared.
Weekday lunch. Had the Avocado Cecina..very tasty! Glass of rose. Wine prices could be better .
Service excellent, but fell off a bit as it got more crowded, not server's fault, just not enough servers, runners/bus staff good.
Will go back to try the other cecinas as well as pastas and salads.
Friend in from out of town birthday
I had a suprise, the rest didn' t accept cash , only visa
the whole restaurant is gluten free, and very pretty. Cocktails were delicious. will def go again!!
Sad sandwich experience. Eggplant, tomato , basil and mozzarella sandwich on a soggy tasteless gluten free excuse for a bun. Overly thinly slice sliver of eggplant., one tomato , one basil leaf and an adequate thin slice portion of mozzarella. Could not eat the bread as it disintegrated and I held it. All this for a whopping $23.00, outrageous
We showed up on time for a 12:30 reservation and were asked if our whole party was present. Before I even answered she said there will be a bit of a wait. By 12:50 our 3rd guest arrived and I told the Hostess. She said just a minute. 10 minutes later I asked how long it would be and she said your whole party needs to be here. I explained to her I had just told her we were.. She then replied that our reservation was at 12:30 and we were way past that time now. I replied when we were here at 12:30 there were no tables available so what was the difference. She was very rude and snotty. Over all, I would not recommend this place. They do not honor reservations, they are. rude and rush you out.
We had such a great time at this dinner! The food is super fun and tasty and our waitress was lovely.
Brunch was great.
This restaurant is one of my absolute favorites! From the bar energy to the friendliness of the staff (our party size flip flopped multiple times and they were beyond accommodating) and the food is inventive, delicious and light but so satiating.
Fortune, our server is a light. We can't wait to go back!
Try the Galliano Daiquiri! DIVINE!! Thank you SANTINA!!!!
The food and cocktails were delicious. I went with two friends. We shared three appetizers and each had two cocktails. I was surprised we wound up paying $60 each without tip.
We had FANTASTIC service until the restaurant started filling up and then we had to work hard to waive down our waiter for another drink and then again for the check.
This restaurant must be in financial trouble or else they just suck. At least 5-6 items on the menu they were "out of". They had no fish left, no oysters, no ribeye, no this, no that.
Two of us ordered a pasta dish and were informed that the "lobster" was being replaced by "shrimp". No problem, we ordered it anyway. But when the entree was served it was not with fettuccine but with a globby angle hair pasta. We were not informed of the pasta replacement when we ordered. I sent mine back, tried to order a fish dish, was then told they were out of fish and settled on a recommended chicken dish which was not good. The saving grace was that the manager was very nice, comped my entree but the damage was already done. It is too bad that this restaurant did not live up to the reviews. I would not recommend it and I will not go back.
Excellent service! The food was delicious. We got the shrimp frittata and fried fish sandwich. The Iced coconut coffee was amazing. The ambiance is fun and welcoming. It’s a great spot to catch up with friends over brunch.
The food was INCREDIBLE, just the right portion size and the vibes inside were so unique
They were out of every entree on the menu at 9pm
The food is excellent! It’s a beautiful location for celebrating and enjoying good friends and food.
Love this place. It’s my second home. Staff is so friendly. Epic experience always.
