The food at Santina likewise takes inspiration from the Italian Riviera, pulsing with bright and refreshing flavors with a gluten-free menu that highlights lighter dishes focusing on vegetables and fish. Santina's signature cecina, spaghetti blue crab and bass agrigento showcase its ability to integrate Italian coastal cuisine with modern culinary sensibilities.
Santina was named one of the best restaurants of 2015 by The New York Times, GQ and Bon Appétit, amongst other publications.
At Santina, it’s always summer.

Mice ran across our feet about 4-5 times. The food was awful and it has always been great. Salmon was very fishy.
Burned food and ride maitre’d
1h wait for the table, rude hostess, untrained stuff, food was great but that’s it
Very tasty food. Nice ambiance and crowd. Long bathroom line. Limited desert menu.
I took my Grandmother and Aunt here when they were in town. The service was pretty good and we enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. I was surprised at how empty it was for a Saturday night though. The bread we received before our meal came out completely burned. We enjoyed our meals (eggplant Parm and fettuccine lobster) but none were spectacular. Considering all the nice restaurants in NY, I rank this one as average.
Would have eaten anything on the menu! Service was absolutely amazing, the menu was explained very well and we were given a heads up that things are being made to order and may take a while - well worth it! We had a reservation and even though the restaurant got very crowded as the night went on, we were never rushed through our meal. Great wine list, but I would definitely recommend going for the cocktails!
Made a reservation weeks in advance for a birthday. Got there on time but had to wait 30 minutes for our table! Ridiculous.
Muy caro para la comida que ofrecen...ademas ver pasar ratones mientras cenas es muy desagradable.
food, service, ambiance, everything 5 stars! and it's all gluten free so need to navigate the menu! def my new go-to spot in NYC!
Wonderful service.... as ALWAYS!
I had a wonderful date with my wife. Ambience was great
Beautiful and bright restaurant with excellent food. Our server was knowledgeable and was able to accommodate my daughter’s special dietary needs.
Great service and amazing food
Amazing, great food and service can’t wait to go back
Love their brunch food
Amazing food and ambiance! Perfect place for a nice weekend dinner.
Food was great as was our waiter but upon entering the restaurant 10 minutes before our 6:00 reservation we were told to wait at the bar (empty restaurant) and they would come and get us when the table was ready. (?). We went to the bar and were ignored while the bar staff huddled in the corner trying to avoid eye contact (other people were already having drinks at the bar). Once they eventually took our drink order the hostess came over and told us our table was ready. I’m not sure what the issue was when we arrived but I know it didn’t make my wife and I feel welcome.
Love going here for business and social reasons!
It’s an awesome location, great ambiance. They were out of 5 items by our 8 pm reservation, which was disappointing. The food was ok.
Location (right under end of highline), food, service and atmosphere was very good. My only negative comment would be portions a bit small for price.
Food was delicious and server was super helpful and accommodating. Perfect place to dine near the High Line
Amazing gluten free bread and I’m not gluten free
The food was mediocre, at best. They must have gotten a deal on cherry tomatoes because everything we ordered was smothered in them. Salmon was over cooked and steak was so fatty, it was nearly inedible.
Cute place, though air conditioning was ineffective and server was adorable.
Will not be going back to Santina.
We had a very energetic and enthusiastic server who in general was very attentive. The food was very average and for what they are charging is a really poor value. Yes they are in an awesome neighborhood/location, but the pricing does not warrant what is being served.
Excruciatingly slow service and kept forgetting drinks we ordered. Arrived at 9 and didn’t get our entrees until midnight. At that point we weren’t even hungry. Not sure if I would go back.
Went for my birthday and had a great experience here! Staff had very warm personalities and went the extra mile to ensure you were satisfied. The food was so good - from reading other reviews, I was worried about the portion sizes but the plates were perfect and more than enough to fill my group and I up! Definitely try the lobster fettuccine if you like spicy foods. 10/10 a great spot
Amazing food. Fresh ingredients and excellent service
Great night celebrating my daughters birthday!
The place is really cute and great to have some drinks. The service was outstanding and we had a lot of fun. However, the food was just ok!
They did not have good AC, it was extremely hot in there.
Everything was great as usual except the noise level. :)
Water was warm. Linguine was good. Tortellini portion was small. Wine was good. A little too much money for the food offered. Great service and friendly staff.
I planned a girls weekend to NYC. Dinner was amazing. We enjoyed it so much, we ended up returning the next day for brunch. Pleasant staff, great food and ambiance. We will be back again.
Very good food! Certainly quite pricey but worth it!
Food was fresh and terrific and our waiter was great.
The eggplant is a must. Beautiful restaurant, great service.
Arrived at 7.45 and put our order in right away. Starters came right out, but something clearly went wrong in the kitchen, with the mains not arriving until 9.15, a full 90 minutes after we placed our order. Delicious, but hardly punctual. #servicefailure
tasty food nice location !
Loved their brunch, atmosphere, location, and price point! Will definitely go back.
The portions were very small for the price. Overall good atmosphere but not worth it.
