The food at Santina likewise takes inspiration from the Italian Riviera, pulsing with bright and refreshing flavors with a gluten-free menu that highlights lighter dishes focusing on vegetables and fish. Santina's signature cecina, spaghetti blue crab and bass agrigento showcase its ability to integrate Italian coastal cuisine with modern culinary sensibilities.
Santina was named one of the best restaurants of 2015 by The New York Times, GQ and Bon Appétit, amongst other publications.
At Santina, it’s always summer.

What Insiders Are Saying
There were exactly zero restaurants we enjoy hanging out in Meatpacking until Santina arrived. Now there’s one.
Had the most terrible experience. We waited 2 hours between our appetizers and meal. Our waiter disappeared and didn’t come out and communicate that the food was going to be delayed and shared zero information with us. Then the manager sent us a round of shots and a basket of bread to “hold us over until our food came”. One of the shots has a plastic zip tie in it. When our food finally came it was undercooked- steak was raw and pasta was crunchy. It was unacceptable. I will never go back.
Santina was amazing. The ambiance was adorable and the food was to die for. Loved the egg sandwich - such wonderful flavors
Great dinner and drinks
Great place if someone else is paying.
The chicken was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten.
Very expensive for the value...$17 for desserts...
Portions were small, Food was underwhelming.
Location was great!
Food overpriced but well cooked. Wine way overpriced. Friendly staff and good bathrooms.
Noisy location with servers who are just going through the motions to deliver pedestrian food, which is over priced. and flavorless
We had not been to Santina for the last three months due to our travels. We went there the other night and realized how much we missed this exceptionally tasty and creative cuisine and the friendly service that makes you feel welcome like an old friend.
Lovely birthday lunch for my daughter!
Frozen shrimp used in the fritta that is $23. Everything is just okay. Bartender and waiter were very nice and accommodating but the food is mediocre. Must be good for tourists.
Cant beat the location, especially if you're going to the Whitney. I came here a few times when it first opened, for dinner and lunch. The food was really delicious. Had Brunch recently and the service was not so hot, a little spaced out, food was good but not up to par for the prices.
Disappointed in the food quality
Went here for a birthday breakfast/brunch with some friends. The food was yummy and the staff was great and very friendly. The atmosphere is light and airy - big windows, plants, modern. I have celiac disease and the staff was knowledgable and the menu was very easy to order from. There was something for everyone, including a refreshing brunch dessert as a nice surprise for my birthday. Very reasonably priced.
Hostess was very rude in general.
would not seat our party of 6 even though 5 of us were there and the 6th was in a cab stuck in traffic.
she seated us in the outdoor area when a table in the main dining room was available. Big lack of ambiance in the outside dining area.
however, the food was very good.
Buena comida y tremendas atenciones de Nathanael.
Excellent, as always
We were going to the Whitney Museum which is just a few steps away. This was a great place to grab a high quality, delicious and nutritious lunch before. Warm, nice vibe. Great staff.
One of my favorite restaurants in the City. Creative dishes, friendly alive atmosphere, food is delicious, upbeat fun staff. Menu is about 95% gluten free but you would never have any idea of that from the food. Fritto Mista is off the charts, other starters and salads great as well. Can mix and match dishes from all parts of the menu to have great, great meal. Great for two and even better with bigger group for communal meal with more things to taste.
Disappointing meal, been here repeatedly and service has deteriorated, the food is nothing special but convenient to Museum. Location trumps food and service if you want convenience it’s great if you want good food I’d walk a bit further!
Even though my husband and I enjoyed our meals, the tables were too close to each other’s. We had an “intimate” meal with each of the tables right beside us. We didn’t like the seating at all.
A real treat with interesting food and totally gluten free. And you would never know it ...
We had terrible, and very slow service. I would hesitate to recommend it.
Everything was great exce
A Gluten Free Restaurant! Great news that the entire menu can be adjusted gluten free. Delicious!
Nice atmosphere and friendly service, but food was only mediocre.
Terrific food and drinks, great service, expensive.
Loved this restaurant. It was the second time I've dined here and it didn't disappoint at all! I'll be back for sure.
Good appetizer, ok food. Get wine, not cocktails
Amazing dinner with family. John our server was beyond exceptional and provided excellent service. Nathan, who seemed to be the manager took great care of us and sat us right on time for our 7:30 Fri night reservation. Reservations are highly recommended as the restaurant gets really busy late at night.
This has been one of my favorite places its always welcoming the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The food is the star of the show being unique and over the top delicious.
It has a great vibe of youth while not shunning the more mature.
Very popular location, great food and most important GREAT servers, makes the dinner enjoyable experience.
Long wait for the food. Expensive wine list
Average restaurant with a great location. Next to the entrance for the Highline and the Whitney.
I was underwhelmed by the food here which was disappointing because I’d heard great things. In my opinion, my starter salad was swimming in dressing which was also bland and my entree the swordfish also came out bland and very oily. I also wasn’t a fan of the preparation. It was a thin cut of fish covered in olives and beans. My friends got pasta and described their dishes as good not great. It was disappointing because our server was fantastic and the ambiance was great.
The food was wonderful and the waitress was attentive.
But, we were seated near the bar on a Friday evening and it was noisy and a lot of people were moving around us.
Food and drink were excellent!
Menu choices were interesting and uniformly delicious.
Staff was pleasant and helpful.
We were celebrating a birthday, something I had noted when I made our reservation but which was not acted upon by the staff. That left us just a bit disappointed to close out an otherwise wonderful evening.
First time dining here, and I was thrilled with the outcome! Wow! The food was creative and delicious, service fantastic! Will be back to try so many other items I couldn’t on the first visit. Well done Santina!
it was amazing experience, great location
nice view to meatpacking area
staffs were so nice and great
the italian pancake and resotti and french toast were amazing
i want to visit every sunday morning
My favorite spot in the city! A perfect blend of fab setting, delish food and friendly service. It’s bright and airy and perfect for day or night time dining.
