Santina is a coastal Italian oasis where people can drink and celebrate day or night in Riviera style. Located under the High Line in a glass box designed by renowned architect Renzo Piano, Santina is light and festive. This iconic structure is complemented by handcrafted Murano chandeliers from Venice, and outfitted with lush orange and palm trees.
The food at Santina likewise takes inspiration from the Italian Riviera, pulsing with bright and refreshing flavors with a gluten-free menu that highlights lighter dishes focusing on vegetables and fish. Santina's signature cecina, spaghetti blue crab and bass agrigento showcase its ability to integrate Italian coastal cuisine with modern culinary sensibilities.
Santina was named one of the best restaurants of 2015 by The New York Times, GQ and Bon Appétit, amongst other publications.
At Santina, it’s always summer.

Great meal with fun atmosphere
Brunch was still solid but remember it being better in the past. Atmosphere is excellent.
Great food and great ambience
Great food, good to share. Wonderful chickpea appetizers. Popular place with the noise level to match, but worth it for the food. Gracious wait staff
Every time we are in New York we visit this restaurant. Great vibe, good energy and amazing food. The food is fabulous gluten free. Lots of very tasty options. The service was terrible. It took 30 minutes to get our table with a reservation. We had to continually ask for our waiter for service.
We were very disappointed with the lack of service this time given how much we love this restaurant.
Such a beautiful restaurant...reminded me of Florence. The Venician murano glass chandeliers gave it the best ambiance. Our server was the absolute best, was helpful, knowledgeable, and on top of it. The food was delicious we all got different plates and all loved it. And the dessert agh amazing. Though the drinks were delicious they were over priced.
Food was amazing! The service was efficient....maybe too efficient...felt like the staff is trained to feed and ship out the guests. Please let your guests relax 🙂!
My niece and brother in law were here so we picked Santina and had a great time!!!
Very lively noisy restaurant. Thank goodness we were seated in a corner away from the hubbub. Our wait staff was excellent.
Service was terrible, food was average, noise was out of control. They even charged us w/20pct service without notifying us.
Pricey all gluten-free (but delicious) menu. Usually a spot I go when my parents are paying. Plenty of healthy food and juice options, but also indulgent items that you won’t be able to believe are gluten free. The fire alarm falsely went off while we were there, which apparently is not unusual — no one had to evacuate, but the noise continued beyond when we departed. Luckily, we were almost finished our meal when it was set off.
The lobster fettuccine is incredible!
One of my favorite restaurants! I always bring friends when they come to visit. It does get a little loud occasionally so Friday/Saturday nights can be loud for parents visiting.
Fabulous service and atmosphere!
Absolute fantastic service and great food.
Hostesses were unresponsive when we asked three times if our table was ready. Didn’t get seated until 45 mins after our reservation time.
Food is not great. Nice decor. Wait service was satisfactory. Had to ask to have empty plates removed after a long wait.
The Maître d’ was rude
Food was disappointing. Outdoor seating area, enclosed for season, was dirty. Table was dirty. Food was not good and way overpriced.
Food was really solid and great to share
Great! I don’t want to add more words to my review!
Noisy. Tables super close together
Went for husbands dinner. Such amazing vibes, great decor and friendly staff. Food was very good too! Not the all time best but definitely good
This is our second time there and it did not disappoint. LOVE the food and the service was great, very attentive and friendly. We sat outside on a beautiful day, too bad there was bit of construction that took away, next time I would stay inside.
Best gluten free restaurant in all my travels and best Frito misto midtown of all time. Must try grapefruit Granata Amazing staff that actually cares. It’s a great experience every time!
As per usual, had an amazing meal. Our waitress was fantastic.
Our server, Gabby was awesome and we met some great people sitting at the next table. Perfect night to sit outside.
Sunday brunch, was somewhat busy. The kitchen had run out of many options on the menu , first asked for the GF tortellini, waiter then tells us that they had run out , the lobster linguini was an option but they ran out of lobster and had to replace with shrimp, so ordered the fish sandwich ... 2 minutes later the waiter said that they had run out of that also , so ordered the egg sandwich which was practically inedible .
But the waiter was nice .
Don’t order the aperol spritz either ... there’s was disgusting , not sure of they added tap water to the mix , the worst I’ve ever tried.
I went as they list gluten free options but their gluten free is low on taste and poor quality.
That was my third visit and have become increasingly disappointed , but had given them chances as not too many gluten free places around , I will not return .
it was a beautiful night in nyc. hostess accommodated we wanted to sit outside. the staff was friendly and eager to please. apps were good. my branzino was great. we enjoyed our evening there. it seemed that everyone enjoyed their meals. my friends wanted chocolate after for desert and this was not on menu.
The tables are a bit close together and somewhat inaccessible if you have special needs. The staff was good at accommodating.
Perfect spot for dinner with the girls.
We enjoyed our lunch at Santina. The ambiance, food, service and close proximity to the Whitney is a plus.
Love that this restaurant is all gluten-free. The almond pancakes are the best I've ever had in my life. Also be sure to get the smokey tomato jam with any omelet. It's the perfect place for brunch before taking a walk on the high line.
Mice ran across our feet about 4-5 times. The food was awful and it has always been great. Salmon was very fishy.
Burned food and ride maitre’d
1h wait for the table, rude hostess, untrained stuff, food was great but that’s it
Very tasty food. Nice ambiance and crowd. Long bathroom line. Limited desert menu.
I took my Grandmother and Aunt here when they were in town. The service was pretty good and we enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. I was surprised at how empty it was for a Saturday night though. The bread we received before our meal came out completely burned. We enjoyed our meals (eggplant Parm and fettuccine lobster) but none were spectacular. Considering all the nice restaurants in NY, I rank this one as average.
Would have eaten anything on the menu! Service was absolutely amazing, the menu was explained very well and we were given a heads up that things are being made to order and may take a while - well worth it! We had a reservation and even though the restaurant got very crowded as the night went on, we were never rushed through our meal. Great wine list, but I would definitely recommend going for the cocktails!
Made a reservation weeks in advance for a birthday. Got there on time but had to wait 30 minutes for our table! Ridiculous.
