Santina is a coastal Italian oasis where people can drink and celebrate day or night in Riviera style. Located under the High Line in a glass box designed by renowned architect Renzo Piano, Santina is light and festive. This iconic structure is complemented by handcrafted Murano chandeliers from Venice, and outfitted with lush orange and palm trees.
The food at Santina likewise takes inspiration from the Italian Riviera, pulsing with bright and refreshing flavors with a gluten-free menu that highlights lighter dishes focusing on vegetables and fish. Santina's signature cecina, spaghetti blue crab and bass agrigento showcase its ability to integrate Italian coastal cuisine with modern culinary sensibilities.
Santina was named one of the best restaurants of 2015 by The New York Times, GQ and Bon Appétit, amongst other publications.
At Santina, it’s always summer.

Love the food at santina. The chick pea pancakes are so special ! And salad with shrimp pasta and fish sandwiches were all raves about. Service excellent. Can’t wait to go back to the Whitney so I have an excuse to eat at Santiina.
We LOVE that Santina offers celiac-safe, 100% gluten free dining!
The food is extraordinary, and everything is gluten-free!! (A real find for celiacs.)
My wife and I shared an appetizer and main dish. Both were excellent if a bit expensive. The wine by the glass was pretty expensive given the quality and amount they pour. Where they really fell down though was dessert. Basically there was no dessert available--just 3 gigantic scoops of gelato for $17. We ordered it and were sorry the minute we saw it. It was okay, nothing special. But after a meal, who wants to eat a pint of ice cream? And, except for sherbet instead of gelato, there was nothing else! We might go back there if we're at the Whitney museum--the food was good, but we'll have dessert somewhere else.
Brunch was amazing. Zucchini Muffins are insanely delish! Cocktails always wonderful. Love Santina for brunch. Almond Pancakes were delightful . Really great NYC Venue
Great Service. Very knowledgeable with regards to allergies.
Great pasta and good ambience. Servers were friendly and prices are somewhat reasonable.
The squash carpaccio was excellent but the crab pasta was basically crab deficient and pasta overcooked. Have been before and loved the food. Just missed this time.
Ths food was great. Service was friendly and responsive. Highly recommend the shrimp pancake for a shared appetizer.
We didn’t get all of the meals we ordered. We were missing one brunch entree and one side item. When we immediately alerted our food runner, she told our waiter and you could see that he clearly forgot. He avoided our table for the entire 15-20 minutes that we waited for our 4th meal. He kept passing our table, but he would never look at us. When we finally got our missing entree item, we then mentioned that we were still missing our side item. When our waiter finally came over to address us, he blamed the kitchen and took our 1 side item off the bill, but told us he had alerted management. That just isn’t good enough. This was our 4th meal and our first time taking out of town guests. Needless to say, we won’t be back. Cesar totally ruined our brunch experience.
One of my favorite restaurants in NYC. Amazing food, really takes me back to my happy place in Italy.
Fresh, delicious gluten free food - loved it ;-)
Nice airy. Great light. Food good but average. Had pasta w crab. Not much crab.
Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit. I will most certainly go again. Drinks were well crafted and the food was excellent. Great if you need gluten free environment.
A place that always delivers solid pastas and the ceccina are just great. Whether it’s the avocado trapanese, the shrimp or the always delicious tuna, the ceccina are a unique starter. Never get tired of coming here
Great spot
out of all the recommended dishes on a sunday
average service
food was average
Got to the restaurant at 7:30 for our 8:00 reservation. Did not get seated until 8:55pm. They did try to make it up to us with a free appetizer but it was still frustrating and we were all hungry.
Avoid tables near the door.
Italian ceramic dishes in tables set charming atmosphere.
Waiter was helpful and food tasty and unique.
Loved it.
The food was amazing!!! We had the Chickpea pancake with avocado and tomato, Fried artichokes and pasta with cheese and pepper. Delicious!
Was too warm in the restaurant. Food is very good even though you have a limited menu. Upbeat ambiance. the combination of too warm and cramped is never good.
Cool place, good food, alcohol is expensive and the price in general is above average
Could not believe the pasta dishes were gluten free. Really delicious meal.
Brunch was fabulous! Beautiful spot, great vibe, nice location right under the highline. Will be back!
Service was poor - waiter was not accommodating at all to simple requests to the food.
Amazing food, superbe atmosphere and service :) We had a lovely evening.
great service and food! went on a Monday night, not sure how much i would have enjoyed it on a weekend though.
We had a reservation but ended up sitting at the bar. The atmosphere was amazing, the wonderful wonderful and our bar tender/server was excellent!
One of the best culinary experiences I've had in a while and I am born and raised in NYC so have had my fare share of them. Going on my "best of" list for sure! Must mention that I am gluten dairy and tree nut free and had no issue here and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of options we had!
Guaranteed excellent food, ambiance, service and drinks! I’ve dined here multiple times for several occasions and it never disappoints.
Great drinks , loved the food had a rice dish and eggplant entree and octopus were all amazing and a grapefruit sorbet dessert was delish
Order the French toast!
6 of us for dinner with a friendly waiter. after they poured water we asked for ice and the bus boy brought two small glasses for 6 of us
Apps were excellent mains were mixed some very good some not so
To their credit —they did not rush us on a busy Friday night, expensive for the qty of food
My third time there in as many years, but probably my last just not special enough for $600.
Impeccable service and incredible food. One of my favorite restaurants in NYC
Nice, fun spot. Good vibe. Enjoyed the food. Not overly expensive- what you expect from the neighborhood. Overall, would return.
The food was amazing and the service impeccable!
The food is so good. Incredible fresh flavors and not heavy. Very creative and everything is gluten free if needed as one of my guests did.
Amazing food, flavors and presentation. Great service and awesome atmosphere.
Delicious food and fun Capri/Positano themed atmosphere. The only thing is this restaurant was gluten-free only! I would have loved some bread with my burrata but other than that 10/10 experience!
