Always a wonderful meal
The food was great, service was kind but the restaurant was too loud. Not sure if a bad day but it was super noisy. Lots of people talking loudly. I was hoping for a romantic dinner because they have a piano but it was so loud the piano was barely audible
The food tasted amazing, and the ambience was perfect. For ordering medium cooked steaks, the meal took entirely way too long. Getting drink refills was a challenge. The servers were nice, but we were there for a while waiting.
My God! When I get to Heaven, I am going to inform my Maker that I want a Santa Fe Steakhouse in my Agenda. It was a Perfect night out with my wife! Seeing Jake play his guitar is always a Delight!! See ya next Tuesday night!,😁
Always a great place to unwind! Food was amazing! The bar had a great band playing.
From the moment we walked in
No mask craziness imposed unto us
Which is HUGE right now to know our rights and freedoms are valued and respected...❤🇺🇲
Everything was delicious and our server beyond sweet and caring for every detail.
Excellent food and great service! One of our favorite restaurants!
Nice service, excellent food in a lovely ambience
Been there before and had to come back was so good
Loved the people the service and the food 💙- I would definitely recommend it.
The food was excellent. It was a great place to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our sever was very accommodating and helpful.
We always enjoy the ambiance
Great place for southwestern ambience. Outdoor patio dining was excellent. Interesting menu selections. We couldn't pass on the last two prime ribs available although sadly they were only average. Hard to find traditional "old school" prime rib anymore but we keep trying and hoping. The macaroni side-dish was a 'must order'. Generous drinks.
The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. I highly recomend this restaurant.
Chef George is an amazing Chef and our waiter Eduardo was very attentive and friendly. My date and I were extremely satisfied with our over all experience at this restaurant!
After being seated for 2 hours. 830pm to 1030pm, Our food never arrived. Left and paid waiter $20 for 3 salads. Asked for a refill of our drinks. Never received a refill. Food almost out for 45 minutes. Went to whataburger at 1030pm
We live in Houston, but wife is originally from McAllen. She wanted me to experience a real feeling of The culture of the area. Santa Fe is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever experienced. One feels like they are walking into a hacienda in Mexico. The ambiance is elegant without being stuffy, the food is very good- I recommend the fish. The service is simply outstanding- Arturo was so thoughtful as My wife was cold and he brought her a throw! We will be back
We did get a very good service from waitress excellent and food was outstanding.
Friendly environment, great service, excellent food. All questions about the menu and drinks were answered. Worth the splurge.
Best High level Restaurant and food quality at any 5 star place in the country
Best all around! The food and service never disappoint.
The appetizer, Angels on Horseback, is fantastic. I should have gotten it as my entree. The special was Red Snapper, over cooked and tasteless. The chicken dish was not very good, not much spinach but way too much mashed potatoes. The salmon was good and well seasoned and the steak was very good.
The desserts were delicious, bread pudding was some of the best we have ever had. The wine was also very good.
Service was excellent, our server was very attentive, our water and tea glasses were never empty, he offered to replace the snapper with something else and apologized for disappointing plate. The manager also came over to apologize.
Next time we will just order the appetizer, steak & bread pudding.
We made a reservation with Open Table (it was so easy and convenient). We arrived a few minutes early, and our table was already ready. The food was fantastic, and the service was OUTSTANDING!!!! It was my husband’s birthday, so I wanted it to be a memorable, special night. Santa Fe did a great job of making it a wonderful evening!!! We will definitely be back!!!!
5 year Anniversary...great experience. Food was amazing, service on point.
Very nice experience! Friendly staff and great food!
Overall Santa Fe is a nice restaurant, with good food and service. However, for the price, you can receive better food and service (very good to excellent) in other restaurants in the McAllen/Pharr/Edinburg area. I had the Oscar Filet, cooked properly to the temperature I ordered, I asked to split and they did so without hesitation. the lump crab on the oscar was good. The best thing was the lady that made sure I NEVER ran out of water, she was also extremely courteous. All of the desserts looked tasty, the bread pudding was delish! Overall good with a lovely atmosphere. PS> Go early, parking is difficult!
Great meal as usual. I go with some girlfriends so we like to share. Not into big portions. The waitress knew what to do with looking confused. We spilt a steak three way. It was delicious! Sides of potato and asparagus were very good. Had a coffee drink the waitress recommended. It was wonderful. Thanks for a great night.
Love to go to this restaurant, when we’re in McAllen!
Exceptional food, drinks, service and ambiance as always. Santa Fe does not disappoint.
The food was great, BUT...
The most impressive factors were the atmosphere; I love the respectful & hospitable staff (Orlando, Kyle, thank you!), the architecture and interior design, the lighting, & above all else, the live pianist. It’s not often you get to be enchanted by a live artist.
11 out of 10.
Our food took an hour to arrive and it was cold & dry. Our waiter never attended us. We had to ask other waiters for our drinks.
Great food. Great time. Great waiter Eddie. Definitely go back.
Michelle made it a great evening! Wonderful recommendations as it was my first time dining.
Celebrating my wifes Birthday and it was great.
Service was exceptionally slow. We waited for half an hour for our drink. And the taking of order took another half an hour.
Food is always great! I chose seafood this time around and was very happy with my choice. Tuna tartar as our appetizer and King Salmon for main entree. Not only a great choice but a great amount/portion size as well.
Service was excellent, but I did notice the young lady sitting across us received a complimentary soup and wondered why we were not offered. Makes me wonder.
We could hear the great music coming from the cantina but did not enter. Towards the end of meal, we began to notice many customers coming in to the cantina. We sat in the outside patio area with enough distance between tables. However I wonder if it was the same inside the cantina area. Overall I highly recommend the restaurant. Oh yes, parking is a challenge.
